i really need help

Hi, I've been writing a story for a while now and I'm editing but I keep back to the part where two characters meet. I don't like it-I don't want it to be too cliche.

Basically what I have is that guy A is in a new city (fiction of course) and it is attacked. Girl A is a badass, very strict, no nonsense, no sense of humor at this point. She is a soldier and just does her job.

Originally I was going to have guy a climb a roof and girl a was chasing him but she slips in the process and he saves her even though she was going to kill him. Is that too chliche? I don't like it because girl a wouldn't fall-she is too badass to simply loose her balance.

Can anyone help me with any better options? I just need both characters to meet but have an impact on them. Idk help please!!!! Lol (p.s the girl thinks he's an enemy. The boy doesn't know what or who she is)

The guy in the video is Riccardo Maccaferri and he is an unbelievable actor in Romeo e Giulietta Ama e cambia il mondo. So my problem is that I don't speak Italian . . haha yeah, from the little I know of Italian and my Spanish I can pick up on a few things but not all. So will anyone be so kind as to translate what he is saying? If it is easier you could write it in Italian and i'll google translate it.

Also, since I know it's a lot to write down you could do half of the video and tell me where you stop so i can ask for someone else to translate the second half.

hi, i've been looking into the history during several time periods but everything i get on the computer is from sketchy sites or no information at all. i would like to know how spain was during the 1650-1730s, during the golden pirate age, and more about their navy during those times and how the middle class lived. also, i've been looking into how the vikings lived during their hieght, what they wore, but i havent been able to find anything really helpful. if there's any books you could recomend that would be AWESOME! thank you so much :)

so, my freind and i are co writing a book and it about Mayans or Aztecs (i know thats not their real names), we havent decided. the problem is that we're afraid the book is going to be taken as offensive to those cultures because, yes they were warriors and such but if they are potrayed in a way the decendants will not like. i dont want to give away the plot but it has something to do with exatcing revenge and the good and bad people on the Mayan side who do it as well as the other side. but since its written from the other party's view it could be seen as offensive. sorry, i dont know, my freind and I are highschool kids, you do the math. or we could make up a group of people but it wont be as . . . authentic. so tell us what you think we should do. maybe I'm overeacting as my freind says. lol, thank you!
