  • Why do I hate change?

Hey so I have noticed that I hate change. Like, when a burger store turns into a worm farm, or my dealer changes his stock from cannabis to cocaine. I don't like it. It bothers me. I also really HATE technological change. It kind of depresses me. I know this is really weird, but the thought of DVD's being replaced by streaming depresses me. No I'm not on drugs it genuinely does. So why is that? Why is it specifically technology as well? I would personally want to go back to the early 2000's or late 90s technology wise.

Now, I also love cloudy and rainy weather. I think when I was a kid, I watched all these videos and it was raining when they filmed it, and the videos were made in the late 90s or early 2000s, so I think I may have associated my love for old tech with different weather patterns in a certain time period, which is uber trippy. I don't really understand it. But yeah, at the moment, I am really not looking forward to Netflix becoming normal in Australia, I just want to keep buying DVD's and CD's. Whenever I hear people say they are using Netflix it stresses me out. I am really not looking forward to streaming. But it seems kind of silly that I feel that way.

And this really bugs me, I can't find a single person on the internet that feels the same way as me. I kind of feel like I am the only one who feels this way. I am 15 btw, if that has any relevance to anything. If there is anything I need to clarify just ask and I will reply to it, thanks

  • Why is it that the boys are usually older than the girls in dating?

I often see these questions about dating or whatever, but I notice that pretty much all the time, the boys are older than the girls. like 16 to 19, or 18-25. Is it because girls develop faster than boys?

  • Why is the audio weird on my st anger dvd?

Hey so I just bought a brand new st anger cd/dvd, I put it in my computer dvd drive, and, I'm not sure if the live in studio performance was recorded badly, but the audio is really strange. Like it keeps going louder than softer and stuff. So, was it just badly mixed and recorded? or is it my dvd drive? thanks in advance

  • How can I properly focus on my homework?

I already asked this but no one answered so I'm just going to copy and paste it.

Hey so I do homeschooling at the moment, going back to school isn't an option at the moment so I really need to do this work. But I just have such trouble finding the motivation to do it. I sit down and really try to concentrate at it, I read the words for a page or so, than I realize I've been daydreaming or just thinking about something else, than I have to go back a page or so, and read it again. I do try to actually concentrate but it I just end up thinking about other things. I really hate the work but I need to do it, I just don't know how. I don't want to blame my problems on anything but I think might have ADD, maybe. I've looked at the symptoms for it and I can defiantly relate to some, but I'm not sure if I actually do have it or not. I have anxiety as well so I don't know if that has anything to do with anything or not.

If you need any clarification for anything just ask and I'll comment on your answer.

  • Will physical media become a niche?

So I guess now streaming and downloading are happening will physical media completely die out? Will I never be able to buy a dvd or cd in the future? I mean, I will really miss that. Do you reckon physical media will at least have a small but sustainable market in the future, or will it completely die out? I really like owning a copy, and I like having to go out of the house and buying one. Sure streaming is convenient but it's not that much more convenient.

  • How come barely anyone is covering Agenda 2030?

It has a global impact and barely anyone seems to be covering it. Why?

  • How come hardly anyone is covering Agenda 2030?

Apart from a few websites no one seems to be paying any attention to the new UN agenda. Has anyone here actually heard or concerned about it? Remember that tin foil hat stuff about a "New world Order"? Well this seems to be real. This agenda will affect the whole world and no is covering it on the news, kind of strange.

  • Possibilities for Sony's 185tb cassette?

Hey so I was reading this article about how sony has created a storage tape the size of a cassette and made 185tb's fit into it. They made it so they could cram information at a nano level or something, I don't know the science aspect of it. But I was thinking about the possibilities of this new technology and I was thinking they could probably make 4k VHS tapes using the same method. Now they would have to release this in the future as pretty much no one has/wants/needs a 4k tv atm. its not as convenient as dvd's or downloads but this means you could watch a 4k movie at like 60 frames and not run into capacity issues. This would also allow all those late night shows with like over 1000 episodes to be released to the public. I missed out on most of the Colbert report so I would love to have it released. and you know those mini dv things you record video on? They could make a 4k video at 60 or more frames for professional film recording or maybe even home recording. But i dont know, what do you guys think?

  • Opinions on St Anger (album)?

I used to dislike St anger, I thought it was pretty crap. That was mainly because everyone else said it was bad so I just assumed it was as well, and I also because I didn't listen to all of them properly. But a few weeks ago I started listening to them and I really enjoyed Frantic, St anger, All within my hands, the unnamed feeling and some kind of monster. And although they were long, they were so full of energy and anger, it felt great to listen to up loud. And while it was a very different album to their others, i dont think it was any worse. I personally liked the drums as they added such a raw sound to the songs. I dont understand why people find it such a bad album, just because it wasn't Metallica's best doesn't mean it is a terrible album, I think its very underrated. So, what are your thoughts? Why do you like/hate it?

Hey, I am going to tassie on about April 20th, and I'm staying there for 2 weeks. Is there any chance that I will see snow in higher up areas, like on Mt Wellington or around the Great Lakes. I am not going specifically to see snow but I would just like to know my chances of seeing it. Thanks

  • Difference between 4:3, 16:9 and 21:9?

I don't really get why they changed tv from 4:3 to 16:9, and now movies are on 21:9. So what is the real difference between them all apart from difference shapes? What does changing them improve?

  • I don't get why I have this "feeling"?

Okay, so there is this feeling i am trying to recreate, (I will try to describe what it is but I always find it difficult), I started getting it last year, and i cant actually get the feeling, i can only imagine getting it, and i am trying to recreate it so i can properly feel it instead of imagining what it would be like.

There is certain things that trigger it, and i really dont understand why, they are mostly technology related things from the late 90s-early 2000's, such as crt tv/moniters, vhs tapes, brick phones, cassettes, and certain games like counter strike-source, warcraft 3 and world of warcraft, and its also overcast/rainy weather that triggers it.

It is really strange i have no clue why I associate old tech with this feeling, but ever since last year i have wanted to live in the early 2000's. The trouble is, is that my dad loves everything brand new and hates anything old, so our whole house is really modern, and i also live in the sunniest city in my country (australia) so i cant do anything about it. This feeling is really strong and i dont understand why i started to get it when i moved to a place where everything is the opposite of that feeling.

This is a major part of my life at the moment (mostly because my life has nothing much in it atm) so if anyone actually understands where i am coming from could you tell me why i get it?

  • Does anyone else love cloudy, cold weather?

Everyone seems to love sunny weather, the news reporters always say its going to be a "nice day", and that ticks me off sometimes because I really don't like sunny weather. When its overcast I feel motivated to do things, I have more energy and want to go outside, and I get this really nice feeling. But when it is sunny I don't really care as much about things, it also drains my energy and makes me want to stay inside. The sun where I am is always so bright, it makes everything look whiter and less colourful, but when it rains it seems to bring out the green in the grass and makes everything smell nice. I also loves storms and the different cloud formations it produces. So, does anyone else feel the same way?
