  • Using Color Oops on bleached hair?

Okay so a few days ago I used the blue splat kit to bleach my hair and dye it. I only did my bangs and a section framing my face on each side. The bleached part didn't turn out as light as I would have liked, but I figured that the blue would still look cool, even if it wasn't as bright as I would have liked. However, when I put in the blue dye my hair turned black. I was wondering if it would be possible for me to use color oops and bring it back to the bleached color, so that in a couple of weeks I could continue with the bleaching process to get it to a platinum blonde. I'm just really hesitant to try because I don't want to do this and have all my hair in the front fall out. Anyone have any experience with this? Or should I just leave it how it is?

  • I'm tracking my FedEx package and I don't know where it is?

So I'm a bit confused as to when the package will arrived. I ordered it online and it's being shipped by FedEx (even though when I got the confirmation email it said it was being shipped USPS. So I'm tracking it and it says the estimated delivery date is September 10, even though the tracking information says it's in transit and its location is Columbia, SC, which is where I live.

    This is the tracking information

    -

    7:15 am

    In transit

    COLUMBIA, SC

    12:11 am

    In transit

    COLUMBIA, SC

    12:11 am

    Departed FedEx location

    FEDEX SMARTPOST ATLANTA, GA

    12:00 am

Shipment information sent to U.S. Postal Service

So does this mean it's in transit TO Columbia, or it's in transit IN Columbia, on it's way to me? I'm sorry if I sound stupid; I usually use UPS, the directions are much simpler.

  • Fafsa selected for verification. What to do?

My fafsa was selected for verification, and I got a letter from the college I was accepted to with packets I had to fill out and send in. But the problem is that I've decided I'm not going to that school and I'm going to a tech school I'll be applying to next week and then transferring. So what should I do?

  • Injured foot a a week ago, still in pain.?

So about I week ago I was playing Just Dance and I was on the What Makes You Beautiful song. I tripped and kind of landed on the side of my foot, but I hadn't realized I was hurt until the next day when I was having trouble moving it. But there wasn't any swelling so I thought I was fine. But it still hurts a week later. Like, it's fine if I'm sitting or laying down (unless I've been walking around, then it's a dull ache), but if I walk on it it hurts. The pain is kind of centralized around the proximal end of my fifth metatarsal, and going into my ankle. Turning my ankle to the side hurts and I feel this weird clicking. And balancing on the sides of my feet hurt as well. Taking pain medicine and anti inflammatories does not help. But I don't want to go to the doctor unless I am already sure of what is wrong. Any help is appreciated.

  • I want to become a military dentist?

So recently I've been thinking that I'd like to become a military dentist, preferably through the navy. I still have a few questions though that I can't seem to find the answers to. My mom is under the impression that you have to become an actual soldier, like go through basic training, serve in combat, etc. Is that true? I'll be starting undergrad soon, so I still have time to worry about it, but do I have to accepted to a dental school first? Also, should I enlist before I start undergrad? As you could probably tell I haven't gotten a chance to talk to a recruiter yet, but I will. I would really love to do this, and I'm aware that there are many cons, but I personally feel like the pros outweigh them. It's just, if I have to be like a soldier-soldier, fighting and all that, I'm not sue if I'm cut out for that.

  • Cold with painful cough?

So I've had a cold for about three days (perhaps four) now. It started with an itchy feeling in my throat that made me cough slightly, to a full blown cold, complete with stuffy nose and sore throat. This was day one. Day two, and the cold was worse and I had a cough. It was bad, but tolerable. Now I'm on day three and my cough burns. My throat and chest itch, cough drops do not help, the cough burns down my throat and lungs, and my chest feels weird.

I'm confused because when I had bronchitis this summer I was coughing up stuff. Now when I cough It's like I might be coughing up something small, but it's stuck in my throat, maybe. What do you think could be wrong. I know it's not allergies because I don't have allergies and I'm not allergic to anything. If it gets bad enough I'll probably go to the doctor. What do you guys think it could be? Any help is greatly appreciated.

  • How hard is it to improve in math if you're not very good at it?

Well I want to be an oncologist (still debating with myself if I want to be a pediatric oncologist) and I realize that I will need and use math in the medical field. The only problem is that I'm not really good at it. I'm not completely horrible, it's just that I'm not very good. I'm willing to work on it because this is my dream, I just want to know if it's possible. I'm just a bit frustrated because I'm really good at science (and history which has nothing to do with this), but not with math.

  • How to fit long hair under a short wig?

So for Halloween I'm being Dumbledora the explorer, but I'm having trouble fitting my hair under the wig. I have kind of long hair (a but possess shoulder length) and the wig fits (somewhat) if I put my hair in a pony tail right at the base of my neck. But that looks really stupid. So what should I do? Also, is out possible for me to stretch the wig a bit because I kind of have a big head and I just want it to fit more comfortably. Any help world be greatly appreciated.

  • Persistent Cough help?

So I've had this cough, I'd say about a week now, and it won't go away. It came out of nowhere and I have no other cold/flu like symptoms. No headache, fever, chills, I haven't even sneezed. But I start the day off with a hacking fit which is accompanied by a pale yellow phlegm and a burning sensation towards the middle of my chest. That continues all day and gradually reduces, until I go to sleep, and then I wake up and start again. This coughing is giving me an extreme sore throat and hoarse voice. If this was any other time, I really wouldn't care and I'd just let it ride itself out, but my wisdom teeth need to be pulled, and the dentist won't see me until I'm not sick anymore. But I don't feel sick!!! I just cough. So what is this, you think, and how can I get rid of it?

  • How to choose between two career choices?

So I feel like I'm going through a mid-life crisis here. I've spent the last few years of high school thinking I wanted to be a doctor. And I was like, okay I guess I'll be fine doing that. But know I've been thinking maybe I want to be a screenwriter or a director, because I love movies and I love writing. But at the same time, I also like science. I guess I'm slightly scared. I just need some advice.

  • Would I make a good fit for pre-med?

So I've always wanted to be a doctor, more specifically a pediatric oncologist, and I just can't imagine myself doing anything else. I'm pretty good st science (i LOVE it) and every science class I've taken I've made high A's in it. But the problem is Math. I struggled to pull the B's I got, and I failed Algebra II the firt time I took it. Is math necessarily a deciding factor in this? Do you think I have a chance, or should I just find something else?

Not sure if this matters but I'm an upcoming high school senior and I'll be taking pre-calculus, Honors Chemistry and Physics, and Health Science.

  • How can i get better at chess?

  • How do I develop a study habit?

So Im going to be in 12th grade next year, and I'm going to have an AP and a few honors classes. I was just wondering what would be the best way to study. These past three years I've never studied the material and managed to pull high As and BS minus a failed 1st semester of freshman year (didn't go to class therefore didn't get credit). However I don't feel like I'll be able to pull that off this upcoming year, what with the upped rigor of my classes. So what do you recommend I do? Any tips are greatly appreciated.

  • Can I raise a 2.7 gpa?

Hi. So next year I'll be a senior and my GPA is 2.7. Do I have any chance of getting into college at all? I'm not a bad student though, if you took away the first semester of my freshman year, my GPA would be around a 3.75, but I lost credit for those classes and had to retake them because I missed too many days. Unfortunately, the zeroes I received still went into GPA. I even have honors and an AP class next year. Do I still have a chance at college? I'm quickly spiraling into depression, here.

  • How can I improve my SAT score?

I really want to make at least an 1800 to offset my less than stellar GPA (though the reason its so low was due to personal issues my first semester of freshman year). Anyway, these were my scores:

    Math: 550

    Writing: 550

    Reading: 620

What do you recommend I do this summer to improve overall?

  • What do you think of my writing?

I'm trying a new writing style after I realized that I wrote in Purple prose a lot. So I just want to know what you think about what I wrote and how I wrote it. Thanks in advance. It won't let me put it all though.

    --

I yawned and stretched my hands above me as my phone's alarm clock went off next to my bed. It was the deep, heavy base of the rap anthem from a couple of years ago that I still enjoyed today. My covers flew off of me and hit the wall opposite my bed, then I stood and stretched one more time before shuffling towards the closet. The doors opened and the clothes hanging neatly on hangers flew to the side, all except a violet shirt that went surprisingly well with my skin and a pair of black jeans. Yep, that'd work for today. I heard the shower turn on in the bathroom adjacent to my room and I sighed. I really didn't want to go to school today. It wasn't that I had a problem with school, its just that I didn't really feel like putting up with the hordes of hyperactive kindergartners that liked to call themselves the student body of Kenton High. Go Penguins. I waved my hand in an unnecessary flourish and my outfit laid itself neatly on my bed and I went to take my shower.

When I got out of the shower, I stood in front of my slightly steam covered mirror that was rapidly clearing and frowned at my wet hair. It dried under my touch as I ran my hand through it. I definitely needed a haircut, I thought. Maybe something like Icon's hair. He was the leader of The Sick Squad. Well, at least that was what us "civilians" called them. They didn't really have an actual name for their group; they were just unnamed heroes. But of course, the media couldn't handle something that simple, so when The Sick Squad busted out onto the scene by thwarting the plan of Domino (he liked to use his skills to blow up buildings, so I have no idea why his name was Domino), they were immediately hailed as heroes and given their nickname and the key to New Atlantis City.
