I don't really know much about memory cards but I bought a few of these to take on holiday. I'll be recording during the day and importing the videos/ pictures to my macbook pro at the end of each day.

I'm using a Canon 550D/ Kiss X4.

How much HD video can I record with this?

Where can I store my HD videos while I'm on holiday?

On December 30th I'm going on a trip to Vietnam for 3 weeks and I intend to make a HD video using my Canon EOS 550D. As I'll be attaining a lot of footage, I was planning to buy a 15" Macbook Pro with Retina Display and numerous customisations and take that on the holiday, so that at the end of each day I could transfer my footage from my SD cards onto the laptop and I could edit it together once I got home using Final Cut Pro X.

However, I left ordering the Macbook a little late, and it won't be delivered in time.

Does anyone have any potential alternatives? Is there something I can buy to store the videos/ pictures on? Would I be able to store the videos/ pictures on an older non-Mac laptop without losing quality and then transfer it to the Macbook?

This coming Christmas, having graduated from high school with plans to go to Uni to study film production and journalism, I'm looking to purchase a MacBook Pro that will allow me to edit HD films at home.

I don't know very much about MacBooks or iMacs as I only ever used the ones supplied my school so I need some help deciding which one would suit me best.

It should meet these requirements:

- Smooth and fast editing of HD video (I have a Canon EOS 550D and will be using more high tec cameras provided by my University)

- Maximum price of about $2000, or a little bit over

Also as a separate question, which editing program would you recommend?

Throughout school I used Final Cut Pro, which I found useful, but I'm just interested to know whether there are others people prefer.

So I'm beginning to write a short experimental story just to practise my writing. It is inspired by Markus Zusak's "The Book Thief" to the extent that I want to use a personified Death as a narrator. Usually I plan stories before hand, but I wanted to just play around a little bit with this one.

Could you read the introductory paragraph and tell me what you think? Where I should go from here?

The intro:

It’s a tapestry of blurring red and blue. Cotton strings of life ebb away onto the tarmac. Vulgar sirens thrash the white van into the night.

I sit beside the woman who fidgets with dials and drips. She knows she’s not infallible. Perspiration dribbles into her latex hands. I lean in close to listen to his pulse and for the second time in his life he notices my shadow block out the light. He freezes, terrified, and begins pleading with me. I watch him remembering. Hide-and-seek and tree houses. Trips to Castaic with the old man, never catching anything. The first kiss and then the second. Mary-Anne, Delilah, Steph. Rainbow confetti dancing through the air, beneath the farewell banner. The last rousing briefing, deployment. A stray bullet carving overhead, drilling deep, although it missed. Our first encounter. He’d twisted the metal shard from the cracked wall of dirt and watched me waiting through the hole it had left. But I had been lurking in the bordering hazes of tepid denial for twenty one years and many millennia before that. Beside him and everywhere else.

I'm in year 12 and I'm currently doing my mock exams. I did the first one today and I have another four for the next four days consecutively, meaning there's going to be a lot of recap study every night.

The problem is that every time it comes to exams I begin to feel extremely sick. I get migraines and I feel nauseous and sometimes, just before an exam begins, I go to the bathroom to throw up. It's really bad and it's affecting my study and I'm not sure what to do about it.

Any tips?

Hi i'm a 17 year old guy in Aus

So lately I've been feeling a lump at the bottom front part of my left testicle when its sagging down but then occaisionally I feel one on the right one as well. For the past few days, it I've also felt an aching pain in the testicles, some nausea (although I've been told that is because of stress) and some constipation. I'm really beginning to worry that it may be cancer or something that requires lengthy treatment, and I have my year 12 exams coming up very soon.

I'm also nervous to tell my mum or go see a doctor.

What should I do?

I just downloaded both the Xbox 360 update and then the Back to Karkand DLC pack in the Xbox Live Store and restarted my Xbox. However, I am not presented with the option to choose any of the four Karkand maps in the quick match tab and it does let me join any Karkand servers. How do I fix this?

I have my first of five semester 1 year 12 exams tomorrow and I'm feeling kinda nervous.

I remember last year I made myself feel physically sick from stressing so much.

For my Y12 English Lit class I'm supposed to choose a passage of 3 - 4 minutes from Shakespeare's Othello and perform a dramatic reading and then analysis of it.

The passage has to touch on interesting points of theme, characterisation, language and other important aspects of the text.

Which scenes/ passages would you recommend I try?

Would the temptation scene (Act 3, Scene 3) be suitable and meet the criteria? If so, what themes/ instances of characterisation/ language is seen within it?

I'm just looking for any suggestions on how I can build my pec and arm muscles so they're BIGGER. Eating diets, work out ideas, that sort of thing :)

Also, I've got this thing with my chest where the left side of my chest is 'smaller' or flatter than the right side. Does anyone know what the deal with that is? And how I can even it out?
