I can go and clean my daughters room and go in there 30 minutes later and it's like a tornado hit it. Why?

We just got a new puppy and they seem to get along, but I think she's been so used to being the center of attention. if we take a memory chip/card out of a nonworking computer and put it in our computer, will it transfer everything from the old computer onto ours? In other words, a friends pc died and we want to put their memory card on our pc to increase our memory. Is that doable and what are the consequences of doing that?

My mother in law screwed up her computer so we took 6 cd's that we backed up and starting running it. We're only on the first disc and it's at 6% and it's been that way for about 4 hours now. Basically what happened was, her mouse failed, then the monitor went out and now we see nothing on her monitor. We switched monitors and still don't see anything. We think her CPU is gone which is why we're running the recovery.

Our Task manager somehow was reconfigured so that at the top right, it doesn't have the three boxes:

Send to toolbar, minimize/maximize, close

How can I fix that?

My daughters school just sent me a bill to have a used, crappy, text book rebound and they're trying to charge me $10. The book isn't even worth $10!!!!

what about the shower? I don't by the way. We had this discussion with a famiy member who has admitted that he/she does every time he/ she showers. I think it's disgusting, he/she thinks it isn't. Thoughts?

do they use the same truck througout their entire route? I mean, how can they possiby fit so much trash into that truck? I know they compact it, but they can't possibly use one truck for the whole route. Do they go back to the plant and empty?

A few weeks ago I cut my hand while I was washing dishes. The cut didn't look deep enough to require stitches, but ever since, my thumb has felt like what it feels like when you have a tooth ache. The cut seems to be healing fine and it's almsot closed up. There is obviously a nasty scar there now. Why would my thumb still be feeling pain? Is it possible that a nerve was exposed?
