  • Fantasy issues, give me your take?

I m the commish of an 8-team standard league on ESPN. A trade was accepted between a guy and his girlfriend:

Girlfriend trades Cam Newton to BF

BF trades Tony Romo to GF

Now we all know Tony Romo just broke his collarbone.. however they both mutually agree to the trade, with her saying she s fully aware of Romo s injury.

I feel this is stacking in the definition of the word but if they agree, should I let it go through?

  • If the NFL season started today, how many games would the Patriots win?

Home: Bills, Jets, Dolphins, Jaguars, Titans, Steelers, Eagles and Redskins

Away: Bills, Jets, Dolphins, Colts, Texans, Broncos, Cowboys and Giants

    Predictions:

Home: 7-1 (lose to Bills by a FG). The Eagles, Steelers and divisional opponents give the Patriots close games, but they wind up with the win in each. Patriots blow out the Titans by 14+, Jaguars and Redskins by 10+.

    Away: 6-2, probably 5-3

I think the Giants and Dolphins will come away with wins. Tom Coughlin and the Giants have given the Patriots problems since 2007 (as if he's the only coach besides John Harbaugh to realize the pass-rush is the most effective way to stop Brady). The Dolphins always play tough, but I think they come away with it at Sun Life. They're a better team at home.

The one team I'm questioning a win or loss from is the Broncos. It depends on when in the schedule we face them, but Manning's better in Denver than in Foxborough. If it's cold, the Patriots might have the edge. Manning is on the decline (judging from last season), but this game could wind up being a pick'em.

Pats beat the Cowboys by 10 (lack of a quality secondary). I don't see the Colts being able to significantly stop the Patriots anytime soon.. the Texans are a tough match but I see New England winning by a score. The Bills I think lose in Buffalo, Jets aren't serious enough on offense without a strong, consistent QB.

    Thoughts?

  • 2014 Fantasy Football Championship; Could I get lineup advice?

    My team:

QB - Andrew Luck vs. Hou

RB - Jamaal Charles vs. Oak

RB - Marshawn Lynch vs. SF

WR - Antonio Brown @ Atl

WR - Mike Evans @ Car

TE - Rob Gronkowski vs. Mia

Flex - Odell Beckham Jr. vs. Wsh

    D/ST - Patriots vs. Mia

K - Dan Carpenter vs. GB

    ----------------------------------------

WR - Alshon Jeffery vs. NO

RB - Rashad Jennings vs. Wsh

RB - Ryan Mathews vs. Den

WR - Donte Moncrief vs. Hou

    D/ST - 49ers @ Sea

    D/ST - Chiefs vs. Oak

WR - Sammy Watkins vs. GB

    My opponent's team:

QB - Ben Roethlisberger @ Atl

    RB - Le'Veon Bell @ Atl

RB - LeSean McCoy vs. Dal

WR - T.Y. Hilton vs. Hou

WR - Dez Bryant @ Phi

TE - Jordan Reed @ NYG

    Flex - A.J. Green vs. @ Cle

    D/ST - Rams vs. Ari

K - Steven Hauschka vs. SF

    -----------------------------------------

QB - Matthew Stafford vs. Min

RB - Lamar Miller @ NE

RB - Tre Mason vs. Ari

TE - Dwayne Allen vs. Hou

    D/ST - Bills vs. GB

WR - Davante Adams @ Buf

WR - Doug Baldwin vs. SF

I just need to know a few things:

    1) I'm fairly confident about most of my team. Luck, Charles, Lynch, Gronkowski, Brown, and even Evans are must-start players. However, for flex I have a tough choice.. do I keep in the red-hot Odell Beckham Jr. or switch him for Alshon Jeffery?

    2) Should I be worried about my opponent having Big Ben? It essentially nullfies any points Antonio Brown gets, plus if Andrew Luck happens to throw a TD to T.Y. Hilton, that's a negative for me as well depending on the situation.

    3) Which D/ST would you choose? Chiefs or Patriots?

  • How do you feel about the U.S. Constitution?

    1) Do you think it is relevant to today's society, perhaps outdated, or maybe both?

    2) Should the Constitution continue to be 'the supreme law of the Land' as written in Article VI, Paragraph 2? If not, why?

    3) Which Amendment drafted in the Bill of Rights do you think is most controversial? Why?

    A) The First Amendment

    B) The Second Amendment

    C) The Fourth Amendment

    D) The Fifth Amendment

  • I feel as if I lose either way, can I get some opinions?

My ex-wife and I were married about a year and two months before our divorce. The divorce occurred after she committed acts of infidelity with a guy from our hometown while I was deployed (we agreed for her to stay home because we married two months prior to my deployment). At first I was trying to see if we could patch things up, and thinking along those lines, I bought a new car with her (after I got back). Long story short, things fell through shortly after.

Both of our names are on the title and loan. I'm in Fort Campbell, KY and she's up in Maine. I could either A) Let her keep the car and get another one for myself or B) Refinance the loan, taking her name off of it, then take her to court and get her name off the title. I have issues with both.. if I let her keep the car, she's going to destroy herself financially. She's a bus monitor (watches pre-K kids) and makes <$1000/month. She pays the car payment/insurance as of right now but that car will make it impossible for her to move out of her mom's house as well due to rent being high in Maine. If I succeed in taking it from her though, I feel I'm going to psychologically destroy her because she's super attached to the car. She puts food and her health aside for it.. and she has three pets so I worry about their health too (she loves animals but still, someteimes I wonder).

I just feel that, although it'll hurt her a lot, the best course of action is to take it and let her pool that car money. Thoughts?

  • What do you make of this?

My wife and I have been married for a little over a year. We'll call her 'Bethany'.

So soon after I married her, I deployed to Afghanistan (Army). I wasn't exactly out in combat or on a convoy or anything, and regular communication with my friends and family made the deployment mostly stress-free. What started to stress me out.. was Bethany.

After being used to talking every night for like 2-3 hours, I think she almost 'expected' that to happen.. It's not that I didn't love talking to her but geez everyone needs some alone time. Whether I wanted to play a video game, chill with some friends, or go eat/work out (being deployed, we didn't have 'weekends' except for a half-day on Sunday.. and once I got back to my room it was all Bethany usually until sleep).

Long story short, those conversations got shorter since we'd do our own thing after like 10-20 minutes. About 6 months in, she told me she cheated on me and that she was really sorry. I just wanted to know why. No swearing or anything, and I offered a second chance. It took from then until just recently for her to decide she wanted a divorce.

We bought a car together (in both our names), but the divorce is uncontested. She can't even afford it. What kills me is that she strung me along and somehow convinced me to help her with the down payment on it (making me think she'd come continue things), and now she's acting like it's hers..

I just don't understand her thought process. I wasn't perfect, but am I right to feel used?

  • Fantasy Football Week 16 Questions?

So it's obviously playoff time. 8-team standard league. I'm looking to play the best lineup possible this week (who isn't?). Any comments or suggestions you may have are appreciated.

My roster with Week 16 match-ups:

    QB: Kirk Cousins vs. Dal

    QB: Aaron Rodgers vs. Pit

    RB: Eddie Lacy vs. Pit

    RB: Chris Johnson @ Jac

    RB: Le'Veon Bell @ GB

    RB: Bobby Rainey @ StL

    RB: Chris Ogbonnaya @ NYJ

    RB: Rashad Jennings @ SD

    RB: Shane Vereen @ Bal

    WR: Vincent Jackson @ StL

    WR: Antonio Brown @ GB

    WR: Da'Rick Rogers @ KC

    WR: Roddy White @ SF

    TE: Vernon Davis vs. Atl

    D/ST: Chiefs vs. Ind

    K: Mason Crosby vs. Pit

I'm thinking based on ability and match-ups, my picks would be:

Aaron Rodgers if playing, Kirk Cousins if not (vs. Dal is a great QB match-up)

    Eddie Lacy

    Chris Johnson

    Vincent Jackson

    Antonio Brown

    Vernon Davis

    Le'Veon Bell/Rashad Jennings

    Chiefs D/ST

    Mason Crosby

There isn't anyone else good on the waiver wire, so I'm sticking with who I've got for this. Any advice? Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions, and I'd be happy to answer yours. Good luck Week 16.

  • Week 15 fantasy football help?

Week 15's looking really iffy for my team, but I've got faith I can pull through. This is a standard league (8-team).

    Here's my roster:

QB: Kirk Cousins @ Atl (Picked him up; dropped Josh McCown after Jay Cutler was named starter)

RB: Eddie Lacy @ Dal (Probable, but a bit worried about the ankle.. great match-up though)

RB: Shane Vereen @ Mia (With Gronkowski on the IR, Vereen's a must-start, especially against Mia)

WR: Vincent Jackson vs. SF (Probable - SF a good defense but Jackson's a must-start, right?)

WR: Antonio Brown vs. Cin (Beat Joe Haden and Brent Grimes.. definitely starting against Cin)

TE: Vernon Davis @ TB (Had Gronk; Davis is never a bad replacement. Go-to guy for Kaepernick)

    Flex: ?

D/ST: Chiefs @ Oak (Smacked around Wsh defense last week - should somewhat repeat)

    K: Mason Crosby @ Dal

BN: RB Chris Johnson @ Ari (Terrible match-up, but Johnson's been great for the season's 2nd half)

BN: WR Da'Rick Rogers vs. Hou (Lit it up last week, but Houston is a top-10 pass defense..)

BN: RB Rashad Jennings vs. KC (Cleared to play, but KC limited A. Morris to 31 yards running)

BN: RB Bobby Rainey vs. SF (SF limited Marshawn Lynch to 3.6 YPC on 20 carries last week)

BN: QB Aaron Rodgers* @ Dal (Too bad he's sitting again.. friggin' great match-up)

BN: RB Le'Veon Bell vs. Cin (Not liking the Cincinnati run defense - Bell carries for little YPC)

BN: WR Roddy White vs. Wsh (Good match-up but don't like White's inconsistency)

BN: RB James Starks @ Dal (Picked him up in case Lacy wasn't able to play - expendable now)

My questions for you kind folks are; 1) Who should I play at flex? Johnson, Rogers, Jennings, Rainey, Bell, or White? 2) Should I pick up a different QB instead of Kirk Cousins? The best available ones are Alex Smith, Ryan Tannehill, and Mike Glennon. 3) Am I playing the right people? I have a lot of RB options, but are Lacy and Vereen the two best options?

Thanks for your answers, and I'd be happy to answer your questions as well. Good luck in the playoffs, folks.

  • Best lineup for Week 14?

8-team standard league - we started our fantasy playoffs in Week 13 and I'm up by about 29 points heading into this week.

    My roster with match-ups:

    QB Josh McCown vs. Dal

    RB Eddie Lacy vs. Atl

    RB Le'Veon Bell vs. Mia

    WR Vincent Jackson vs. Buf

    WR Antonio Brown vs. Mia

    TE Rob Gronkowski vs. Cle

    Flex Michael Floyd vs. StL

    D/ST Chiefs @ Wsh

    K Mason Crosby vs. Atl

    BN Shane Vereen vs. Cle

    BN Roddy White @ GB

    BN Aaron Rodgers* vs. Atl

    BN Rashad Jennings @ NYJ

    BN Vernon Davis vs. Sea

    BN Rams D/ST @ Ari

    BN Chris Johnson @ Den

I have my lineup set up this way because:

    A) I'm not too confident in Chris Johnson performing well against Denver. Peyton Manning and the Broncos may be facing a top-10 pass defense in the Titans, but I fear they'll run the score up to the point of forcing Ryan Fitzpatrick to throw the ball more. I'd have to bet on short passes and a TD or two to CJ2K to get a good performance out of him.

    B) Obviously Rashad Jennings has bad match-up, so even if he were healthier off his concussion, he'd be on the bench.

    C) Michael Floyd has posted at least 5 receptions and 99 yards in every game since Carson Palmer's little resurgence. I'm a little worried about Palmer possibly not playing, but I'm confident that Floyd will still be an effective weapon, with or without Palmer.

    D) Vernon Davis is facing Seattle. I know Kaepernick's been getting a bit better lately but I'm not too sure of his ability to get the ball downfield against Seattle. I think Davis is going to stay benched this week.

If anyone would like to offer their opinion or any suggestions, I'd be very appreciative of that. Thank you for your time and I'd be happy to answer your questions, as well.

  • Fantasy Football Week 14 Opinions?

Standard 8-team league. Got a lot of choices for my Week 14 lineup, but I have a good 29 point lead over the opponent from last week, so I have room for error.

    Here's my roster with Week 14 match-ups:

QB Aaron Rodgers vs. Atl (Not sure if he'll be playing)

QB Josh McCown vs. Dal (Watching Jay Cutler's status; will start if Cutler/Rodgers are out)

RB Eddie Lacy vs. Atl (Defense may focus on Lacy, but Bills rans for 150+ yards on Atl last week)

RB Chris Johnson @ Den (Johnson has 6 TDs in last 6 games; Denver good match-up for run)

RB Le'Veon Bell vs. Mia (Signs look good but he was just concussed - love the match-up)

RB Rashad Jennings @ NYJ (Even if he can play, match-up is terrible)

RB Shane Vereen vs. Cle (Love his pass-catching, but Brady throws around - Ridley may be back)

WR Vincent Jackson vs. Buf (obviously starting)

WR Antonio Brown vs. Mia (Not a great match-up. but fairly match-up-proof -- see Joe Haden)

WR Michael Floyd vs. StL (I like Floyd's potential, as secondaries cover L. Fitzgerald more)

WR Nate Burleson @ Phi (Great match-up. but not the only receiver.. Megatron going to shine)

TE Rob Gronkowski vs. Cle (obviously starting)

TE Vernon Davis vs. Sea (Could flex; Davis has 10 TDs on the season and is facing injured Sea)

D/ST Chiefs @ Wsh (Likely w/o Justin Houston again but did decently against Denver)

D/ST Rams @ Ari (Rams are very good at producing turnovers lately; Palmer may throw INTs)

    K Mason Crosby vs. Atl

So I'm in a little predicament as to who to play this week. There are a lot of choices just on my roster alone - forget about the waiver wire.

I'm thinking my best line-up: McCown, Lacy, Johnson, Jackson, Brown, Gronkowski, Bell (if playing), Chiefs D, and Crosby.

Anyone have any suggestions or comments as to what they think I should do? I appreciate any input you give me, and I'd be happy to respond to your questions as well.

    Waiver options:

QB - Rivers, Tannehill, Fitzpatrick, Glennon, McGloin, Manuel

RB - J. Bell, Sproles, Mendenhall, Rainey, Blount

WR - Edelman, S. Johnson, White, Harvin, Boykin

(Not even going to think about other TE options.. lol)

Def - Browns, Ravens, Packers (don't really think any options are better than what I have)

Not giving up Crosby so Ks are null.

Again, thanks for your opinions. Good luck in the fantasy playoffs.

  • How's my lineup look for Week 12?

Currently 6-5 heading into this week. Need to win for a spot in the playoffs (8-team standard league).

Here's my current starters with match-ups:

    QB: Case Keenum vs. Jac

    RB: Eddie Lacy vs. Min

    RB: Rashad Jennings vs. Ten

    WR: Vincent Jackson @ Det

    WR: Michael Floyd vs. Ind

    TE: Rob Gronkowski vs. Den

    Flex: Chris Johnson @ Oak

    D/ST: Chiefs vs. SD

    K: Mason Crosby vs. Min

    Bench:

    RB: Shane Vereen vs. Den

    QB: Aaron Rodgers* vs. Min

    RB: Le'Veon Bell @ Cle

    WR: Danny Amendola vs. Den

    TE: Vernon Davis @ Wsh

    WR: Antonio Brown @ Cle

    D/ST: Texans vs. Jac

My biggest questions about this lineup; should I keep Chris Johnson in at flex or put Shane Vereen in instead? Should I keep Michael Floyd for my WR2 or put in Danny Amendola?

My thoughts behind my choices are that Michael Floyd is showing his athleticism - if he'd not been injured against the Texans in Week 9, he would have likely had a great game there too. He's scored 3 TDs in the past 5 games, and against the Colts, he has a great chance of upping that average. The Colts have given up the most fantasy points to wideouts in the past 4 games, which gives him a lot of upside.

Chris Johnson has averaged about 18 fantasy PPG over the last four games, and I don't see him getting stopped much by the Oakland defense, even if they rate high against the run. Chris Johnson catches passes as well, and that's something Oakland's not too great at defending. I just like the chances of Johnson finding the end zone at least once Sunday.

Thank you in advance for your input.

  • Week 12 Fantasy Football Help?

I'm in an 8-team standard league, currently 6-5 going into Week 12. This is a must-win to get into the playoffs, and I'd appreciate any input you have for me. My roster with match-ups:

    QB: Case Keenum vs. Jac

    RB: Eddie Lacy vs. Min

    RB: Rashad Jennings vs. Ten

    WR: Vincent Jackson @ Det

    WR: Michael Floyd vs. Ind

    TE: Rob Gronkowski vs. Den

    Flex: Chris Johnson @ Oak

    D/ST: Chiefs vs. SD

    K: Mason Crosby vs. Min

    BN: Shane Vereen vs. Den

    BN: Aaron Rodgers* vs. Min

    BN: Texans D/ST vs. Jac

    BN: Danny Amendola vs. Den

    BN: Vernon Davis @ Wsh

    BN: Le'Veon Bell @ Cle

    BN: Antonio Brown @ Cle

Would you make any changes to my lineup? I know arguments could be made for playing Vereen instead of Johnson this week, but I just like how Johnson's played since the Titans' bye. I'm betting on another good week from him unless substantial arguments can be made against him.

Notable players on the wire: Donald Brown, Ind RB - Andre Ellington, Ari RB - Anquan Boldin, SF WR - Nate Burleson, Det WR - James Jones, GB WR - Santonio Holmes, NYJ WR

If you think I should pick any one of these players up, who should I drop?

Thank you for your input. It's much appreciated!

  • Best lineup for Week 12 of fantasy football?

I'm in an 8-team standard league, and going into Week 12 I'm 6-5. Now, I'm facing someone tied for 4th place right now at 7-4, but I have more overall points than both 4th-place teams, so if I win this game I'm in our playoffs which start next week.

    Here's my Week 12 roster with match-ups:

QB: Aaron Rodgers* vs. Min (Tolzien's been named starter.. unfortunately)

    QB: Case Keenum vs. Jac

    RB: Eddie Lacy vs. Min

    RB: Chris Johnson @ Oak

    RB: Rashad Jennings vs. Ten

    RB: Shane Vereen vs. Den

    RB: Le'Veon Bell @ Cle

    WR: Vincent Jackson @ Det

    WR: Antonio Brown @ Cle

    WR: Danny Amendola vs. Den

    WR: Michael Floyd vs. Ind

    TE: Rob Gronkowski vs. Den

    TE: Vernon Davis @ Wsh

    D/ST: Texans vs. Jac

    D/ST: Chiefs vs. SD

    K: Mason Crosby vs. Min

The lineup I think looks best; Keenum, Lacy, Jennings, Jackson, Floyd, Gronkowski, Johnson, Chiefs D/ST, and Crosby.

I want to play Vereen, but I like Jennings' potential against a weak Titans' run defense, even if Darren McFadden can play. Lacy and Johnson are obvious starts given their roles in their respective offenses, but feel free to put your input in about putting Bell or someone in the wire in instead.

I also like Michael Floyd this week versus the Colts over Antonio Brown at the Browns. Floyd may have had his breakout game against Jacksonville, but keep in mind that were it not for the 1st quarter shoulder injury that sidelined him Week 10 against Houston, he likely would have done well then, too. The Colts' pass secondary is weak as well, giving up 11 touchdowns to wideouts over the pass six games. I know Brown's a great asset to the Steelers and has been great recently, but facing Joe Haden on the road.. I just don't like the matchup. He (Haden) limited A.J. Green to just two receptions for seven yards this past week. Not liking Brown's prospects even if he gets the normal amount of targets. I think Jericho Cotchery and Emmanuel Sanders may have better luck.

Other than that, I think my lineup's pretty solid. Opinions? Thoughts? I'll also list some players in their respective positions that I think are fantasy-relevant on the waiver wire:

QB: Philip Rivers (I dropped him last week for Keenum hahaha), Alex Smith, Joe Flacco, Eli Manning, Mike Glennon, Josh McCown, Kellen Clemens, and Scott Tolzien

RB: Andre Ellington, Donald Brown, Rashard Mendenhall, Chris Ogbonnaya, Mark Ingram, and Jonathan Stewart (no one else is really fantasy-relevant in my opinion).

WR: Tavon Austin, Anquan Boldin, Marques Colston, Dwayne Bowe, James Jones, Jarrett Boykin (just dropped him for Floyd), Santonio Holmes, Jarius Wright, Michael Crabtree, and Percy Harvin

TE: Yeah.. not even going to bother with that one. Gronkowski AND Davis. I'd trade Davis but the deadline's in a couple hours and no one's biting.

D/ST: If anything I should be dropping the Texans' defense but I picked them up Week 10 for the Chiefs' bye and I think they MIGHT be good this week, but I'm still thinking Chiefs against San Diego.

K: Ryan Succop, Nick Folk, Graham Gano, Blair Walsh, Randy Bullock, Greg Zuerlein, Billy Cundiff, and Rian Lindell

Feel free to post the links to your questions, if you have any. I'd be happy to answer them. Good luck to all Week 12.

  • Week 11 Fantasy Football Help?

I'm in an 8-team standard league, and going into Week 11 I'm 5-5. I made a couple moves this week to the waiver wire, but mostly for bench depth as I go. Here's my Week 11 roster with match-ups:

    QB: Case Keenum vs. Oak

    RB: Eddie Lacy @ NYG

    RB: Le'Veon Bell vs. Det

    WR: Vincent Jackson vs. Atl

    WR: Antonio Brown vs. Det

    TE: Rob Gronkowski @ Car

Flex: Chris Johnson vs. Ind (Got 20.4 points)

    D/ST: Texans vs. Oak

    K: Mason Crosby @ NYG

    BN: Shane Vereen @ Car

    BN: Aaron Rodgers* @ NYG

    BN: Chris Ivory @ Buf

    BN: Danny Amendola @ Car

    BN: Chiefs D/ST @ Den

    BN: Jarrett Boykin @ NYG

    BN: Vernon Davis @ NO

Should I keep my lineup as is, change it up, or maybe pick someone else off the wire? Notable players on the wire: RBs Rashad Jennings, Donald Brown (think I'm gonna try and get him next week), Brian Leonard, Bobby Rainey, and Mark Ingram. WRs Anquan Boldin, Marques Colston, Percy Harvin, Tavon Austin, Harry Douglas, and Stephen Hill.

Thanks for your answers. Good luck in Week 11.

  • How's my lineup look this week?

8-team standard league, currently 5-4. Facing the #1 team this week (8-1), so this is a must-win.

    Here's my lineup with Week 10 match-ups:

    QB: Philip Rivers vs. Den

    RB: Eddie Lacy vs. Phi

    RB: Chris Johnson vs. Jac

    WR: Antonio Brown vs. Buf

    WR: Marvin Jones @ Bal

    TE: Vernon Davis vs. Car

    Flex: Mike James vs. Mia

    D/ST: Texans @ Ari

    K: Mason Crosby vs. Phi

    BN: Aaron Rodgers* vs. Phi

    BN: Rob Gronkowski *BYE*

    BN: Vincent Jackson vs. Mia

    BN: Le'Veon Bell vs. Buf

    BN: Anquan Boldin vs. Car

    BN: Chiefs D/ST *BYE*

    BN: Shane Vereen* *BYE*

Would you make any changes to my starters or is that the best possible lineup? Feel free to suggest waiver possibilities as well (any name you want, available or not).

    His team:

    QB: Peyton Manning @ SD

    RB: Fred Jackson @ Pit

    RB: Maurice Jones-Drew @ Ten

    WR: Brandon Marshall vs. Det

    WR: Marlon Brown vs. Cin

    TE: Jimmy Graham vs. Dal

    Flex: Hakeem Nicks vs. Oak

    D/ST: Titans vs. Jac

    K: Steven Hauschka @ Atl

    BN: Jamaal Charles *BYE*

    BN: Darren McFadden* @ NYG

    BN: Terrance Williams @ NO

    BN: Ben Tate @ Ari

    BN: Andy Dalton @ Bal

    BN: Patriots D/ST *BYE*

    BN: Jared Cook @ Ind

I wish I could have caught him last week as Manning had his bye, but at least Jamaal Charles is gone for him this week.. the bad thing for me is that Gronkowski and the Chiefs D/ST are also on bye. At least I have Vernon Davis also, but I pulled the Texans defense in hopes that they'd do well this week on the road.

    My questions to you all:

    1) Who in your opinion wins this match-up?

    2) Should I start someone else? Maybe put Vincent Jackson in over Marvin Jones? I switched them out because of Miami's stinginess towards wideouts this season, allowing only one touchdown to them all season.

    3) If there's someone that you think I should pick up, feel free to tell me who and why (throw a name out there; it's an 8-team league, so you'd be surprised who's out there).

Thanks for your time, and good luck week 10.

    BN Marvin Jones @ Bal

So as you can see, Boldin, Bell, James, and Jones are my four real options at flex unless I pull from the waiver wire. I have James in right now as he just ran over the Seattle secondary and Miami's got one of the worst run defenses in the league (842 total rushing yards for 9 TDs this season; about 105 YPG)!

My question is, out of my lineup, who would you start at flex and why? Do I have it right, or do you perhaps have a suggestion for anybody (that would be on the waiver wire) for me to pick up?

    Thank you in advance!

  • Who would you start (fantasy football)?

I'm in an 8-team standard league. Moving into Week 10, I'm 5-4. I'm debating who I should start this week, as I'm facing the #1 team in our league and I really want to beat him (since he talks a lot of smack). Here's my team with their Week 10 match-ups:

QB: Philip Rivers, SD vs. Den

RB: Eddie Lacy, GB vs. Phi

RB: Chris Johnson, Ten vs. Jac

WR: Vincent Jackson, TB vs. Mia (4th-stingiest defense to WRs this season)

WR: Antonio Brown, Pit vs. Buf

TE: Vernon Davis, SF vs. Car (Gronkowski on bye, still not a bad play at all)

Flex: Mike James, TB vs. Mia

D/ST: Texans @ Ari (Chiefs on bye)

K: Mason Crosby, GB vs. Phi

BN: Aaron Rodgers*, GB QB vs. Phi

BN: Rob Gronkowski, NE TE *BYE*

BN: Marvin Jones Cin WR @ Bal

    BN: Chiefs D/ST *BYE*

BN: Anquan Boldin, SF WR vs. Car

BN: Le'Veon Bell, Pit RB vs. Buf

BN: Shane Vereen*, NE RB *BYE*

    The lineup I'm facing:

QB: Peyton Manning, Den @ SD

RB: Fred Jackson, Buf @ Pit

RB: Maurice Jones-Drew, Jac @ Ten

WR: Brandon Marshall, Chi vs. Det

WR: Terrance Williams, Dal vs. NO

TE: Jimmy Graham, NO @ Dal

Flex: Hakeem Nicks, NYG vs. Oak

    D/ST: Titans vs. Jac

K: Steven Hauschka, Sea @ Atl

BN: Jamaal Charles, KC RB *BYE*

BN: Darren McFadden, Oak RB @ NYG

BN: Nate Washington, Ten WR vs. Jac

BN: Dwayne Bowe, KC WR *BYE*

BN: Jared Cook, StL TE @ Ind

    BN: Patriots D/ST *BYE*

BN: Andy Dalton, Cin QB @ Bal

My question is, who would you start? Would you keep my lineup the way it is, change out the flex, or maybe pick someone up on the waiver wire? Thanks for your help, and good luck Week 10. I'd be glad to answer your questions if you post links to them in your responses.
