I love a warm nose greeting me at the fence, but sometimes she anticipates our working so much that she will violently pace. She only paces when I come and she is in her stall. I go into her stall and she comes to the door for me and literally jams her head into the halter. I do exercises with her that not only ask a lot from her physically but I am also constantly working with her brain and gaining her trust. When we are done with our ride, we warm down and she goes back to her stall, where she is completely calm for the rest of the night.

I don't like the pacing and I am worried for the safety of her and for others when she behaves this way. Why is she like this and what can I do to fix it?

The equine dentist says my mare has boy teeth and that it might be difficult for her to take the bit. I have never heard of boy teeth and my google search came up with nothing. Has anyone ever heard of this?

My horse spooked in the round pen and when she came in to me she looked HUGE and she's just a pony. She looked sooo tall and wide but when she calmed down she looked little again.

Is my suspicion true?

In chemistry class, we were touching lead and even breathing it in on accident. Are we too old (over 15 years) to be susceptible to lead poisoning? Should we all get blood tests to check for lead poisoning?

All of us horse people have had problems with flies and of course it's cheaper to make your own. Since the leading brands of fly spray are said to include marigold, would it better my fly spray if I added marigold to it? If you don't know, would you try it if you were in my situation? :)
