My computer is very open on the top in order to let in air more easily. A cup that was on the desk fell and water splashed into the opening. Not very much water, but enough. I immediately unplugged the computer and now my computer is open and sitting to dry. I was looking in it after it happened and I did not see any water on any component except for the water that dripped through the fan into the power supply. I will let it dry, but if I do turn it on and the only part that got water on it was the power supply what damage would it do to the rest of the computer components?

I recently reinstalled Windows Vista 32 bit on my mom's computer since it used to be mine and she wanted her own computer to start off with. The re installation was not difficult and everything seemed to have went fine until I tried to access the Internet. The internet icon in the task bar has a red x on it and when I click it it claims I am not currently connected to any networks. Before the installation there was no problem, and I am directly wired into the router/modem with an Ethernet cable. Also no other computers in the house, including the laptop I am currently writing this on and my other directly wired desktop computer have no problems with their internet.

I am stuck in a battle against a trainer, my first pokemon fainted and now all I have is a Seedot, the trainer also is using a seedot. Since we are both low level the seedots only have Bide and Harden, Harden doesn't do anything but raise defense and Bide wont work against other seedots...so im stuck in the trainer battle. I can't run and I can't faint...how do i get out of this? Do i have to start over from scratch?

Imagine that the world is ending, what would your final actions be? Other then things like tell your family you love them and pray...I mean like skydiving or eating all the ice cream you can eat.

I would probably go bungee jumping as I have always wanted to do that.

How can we save our government from the greed and corruption that is slowly choking off the good in it? This party system, is the wedge that will divide our country, the day it happened when animosity came between two strangers because one was a Democrat and one was a Republican was the day this country began to slip into a spiral to the pits. We need to open our eyes to the greed that hold our government. The fear the government puts into us to fuel this war against people who hate us, but there will ALWAYS be someone to hate the U.S. we need to get over it and finish up in the Middle East. Why do we have this "Orange day of Terrorism" other then to make us fear, its easier to take rights from people who are afraid. Like this damn patriot act, or the Gun control acts. Our rights aren't the same as when our Bill of Rights was written. Wake up America, things are and have been turning to ****. I don't blame this on any one man or party, for greed and corruption affects all but the strongest men. We need to find those strong men, they must be the one to lead us back to greatness. Politics should not be a career, those who wish to truly save and help the country, would do it for free. How can we turn this around, and where are the men and women, that can lead us to do so? We we're at one point THE greatest country on Earth. We need to find our way back to that.

I asked a question yesterday about if the World, or the human race could ever be one. One of the answers to my question was Not while religion exists. But why not? Why would religion stop us from coming together as one? Sure wars have been fought for it, but I know people from many religions who I consider friends. Do you think religions stops the human race be one, "Country" or world? We can't move forward as humans if we do not act as one race I believe. Humanity will become one sooner or later, but I think it will have to happen from a common enemy.

And if you think it can be done, then what, can one person do to influence it?

My sister got a new laptop earlier this month and now it seems that the internet whenever she is using it DIES, it does not run anything that's more than yahoo answers, youtube doesn't buffer and none of my games run. So is maybe there is a setting to be changed so it doesn't rape my internet anymore? Ive been trying to convince the parents to get some better internet, but unless its them having trouble with it they don't see the need for it. We have had other computers and laptops that worked just fine and never caused me this much of a problem...but for some reason her laptop decides it doesn't like to share the internet.

Ok Ive suddenly had an urge to play one of my older games Civil War Generals (1996) and when I try to install it it runs a CD-ROM transfer test and as soon as it does a Application Error appears that says "integer divide by 0"... What does that mean and is there any way to fix it? So I tried it on another computer I was sure it worked on and I can't even get that far, the installation is showing up on the task bar next to the start button but its not on the screen..Anyway to fix that?

Ive been interested in Hitchhiking for a while now, and I just recently decided a trip to canada would be cool, but then I thought about passports and such. Is there a way for a 16 year old US citizen to cross into canada, stay for a few days, and then cross back into US again, without a passport. They take to long to process the application. Also, I read that I don't need a passport to cross into canada but need one to cross back into the US. If I just go into Canada how will I be able to get back, say if I lost my passport, or never had one in the first place?

Ok, I have had call of duty 4,for about 2 months now. At first i had trouble with this and I had to go to hardware, sound, and enable the stereo mix. Well i went back to sound and it was enabled. So i disabled it then enabled it. I thought that fixed it. Then suddenly it just did the "iw3mp.exe has stopped working" message and call of duty had to shut down. What do i do!? Oh and by the way this is multiplayer.

Also, ive tried playing the game with headphones plugged in, but no luck. My graphics card drivers are all up to date.

Ok I looked and there is a wire going from the Hard Drive to the motherboard, but nothing else. What would the one going to the ps look like?

The hard drive is first in the bios.

But when I tried to reboot the computer I get a message "Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in Selected Boot device and press a key" right before this message pretty fast it says " Data information: 'No Hard Disk is detected!'" So what do I need to reconnect? I figure something came disconnected when I opened it.

I am missing a lot of servers on multiplayer of Call of duty 4. It says in the top right corner that I have 4000 or so servers, someone told me I should have 20000... But that's not even the problem. I roughly counted the servers on the list and i have MAYBE 300. I have downloaded all the patches, even though I think they all came with the game already. Since I recently bought it. Now does anyone have any suggestions? Im tired of getting things that only half work. :(

After I click the refresh button I see in the top left corner 4332/ 4332 servers...When I look down the list I have maybe 400...give or take. I think I have all the patches because in the read me it has 1.7 listed...but maybe that's just explaining them and I still need to download them? Well ive already downloaded 1.7 before I found out about the read-me...But still. I just got the game so any help?

Why are no servers on the list when I am on call of duty 4 multiplayer? Are they doing maintenance...I just got the game...and of course its not gonna let me play. Oh and...where do I get the patches? Call of duty doesn't have a very good support site...
