My friend's 43-year-old son died suddenly and she would like to be able to get into his e-mail account and facebook.

I saw that they had both at the grocery store and just don't know what the dif is. One is just bought isn't marked as being either.

I received a video as a download and would like to forward it with an e-mail? It is a video that has been sent to several hundred people and I can't figure out how to do it. I'm having a lot of trouble with this new e-mail and would prefer to go back to the old. You can't even trim an e-mail you are replying to.

I have DVDs that I want to play on my TV and I would also like to be able to record to DVDs from my TV.

It usually happens when I'm trying to get online with Mozilla and is becoming a royal pain.

Without doing anything that I will regret or could delete erroneously? I just deleted all the updates for Java and it has made a tremendous difference in how Mozilla functions.

I can't do anything without Firefox not responding or getting a script problem. Does this have anything to do with my computer or is it their problem? I'm about done with them if it doesn't stop.

I'm getting e-mail addressed to someone else at my e-mail address and they are mostly about financial matters like "you've been approved for a credit card, just complete the requested info", and "you've won a $1000 Walmart shopping card". They are not being picked up as spam because they are using my address in the subject line. Is someone trying to or has someone hacked into my computer? What do I do to protect myself?

Could I have plugged the camera connection into the wrong slot? When I plug into the camera "UBS Mode" appears on the camera and I can't turn the camera off, even after I unplug it. I have to open the battery compartment for it to shut off. Is my camera too old for my operating system to recognize it?

I need to cook medium grain rice for my dog's kidney diet and I've tried it once according to the package instructions, 1 cup rice in 2 cups water. It became a solid block, won't mix with the other ingredients, and is difficult for the dog to eat and even I wouldn't eat it. I'm really tired and don't want to try gradually reducing the water until I get it right so would greatly appreciate anyone's help. Can you ever get it to the point that it won't all glom together? Long grain mixes very well but the medium has less phosphorous, which is better for him.

I've found this laptop for sale and the owner claims it has a virus she didn't want to mess with so bought a new computer. Would it be difficult to get rid of the virus, especially if you aren't interested in anything but the software on it or would you have to replace it, and how would you get rid of it? Would software manufacturers replace the original software for free or would you have to buy new? The sale price is $100 and it's use would be very basic, word processing and internet for e-mail and limited surfing. Would you buy this computer, assuming you are very computer savvy?

I have a huge hibiscus in my back yard and the top half of it froze a couple of weeks ago. Should I cut the frozen parts back now or wait until spring?

I pay my bills on line and I know you should close your browser for security reasons but if I do, I get logged off. If I am in My Yahoo, can I just log off which switches me to Yahoo and then log in again? Or is it best to log off and then start over?

Companies that provide health insurance deduct what they pay as an expense and their employees don't pay taxes on a huge benefit. That makes health care for those with employer paid health insurance almost free for them. Why shouldn't your employer pay for your auto insurance, too? Why is this fair to those that have to pay their own medical bills? What type of socialism is this?

I had health insurance in Texas from a company in Oklahoma. United Healthcare sells insurance in all 50 states, I believe. Why are people that are against health care reform claiming that health insurance would be cheaper if companies were allowed to sell across state lines? Also, if their claims is true, who would regulate it, the states through their insurance commissioners or the feds through a national insurance commissioner?

I'm not interested in the politics of health care reform, just don't understand what people are talking about since I have had a different experience.
