Ive been her friend for two years now and we've been dating for a while now. Before we were dating her parents loved me. Now they want to kill me. They project their self-hate on to their daughter and this morning made her cry again. It kills me inside to see her like that. How can I keep the tears out of her eyes?

A good female friend and I were laying in a large open field around sunset. She said she was cold so I took off my jacket and wrapped it around her along with my arm. She put her head on my chest and looked up, then I kissed her on the lips and we cuddled there till the sun went down.

Ive never been one for romance so I was wondering how far down the rabbit hole Ive gotten.

I'm going to state in about a week for my vocal solo "Tu Lo Sai" by Giuseppe Torelli. I'm going to be singing in a low octave. I was wondering if there were any resonance exercises that anyone might know about that would help me achieve a fuller sound. Honestly anything would help though.

As long as I have been alive, there have been issues with homosexuality in regards to marriage rights within the United States. I am left here wondering why this is even a problem at this point in our social evolution.

Even from my early childhood growing up in a borderline-fanatical Christian household, I can remember my stepmother trying to little avail to explain to me exactly why homosexuality is wrong. It never did quite stick I guess.

I applaud the states that have taken the initiative to provide equal rights for both hetero- and homosexuals alike. Though really, when we provide just a little insight on the subject, the ideal that these people are fighting for is a chance at the American Dream like anybody else.

They fight for the simple recognition of a simple well-known phrase handed down to us by the creators of our Constitution. That in this great country we are all born with the inalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Created with the intent to be held to our American ideals as self-evident truths.

This is an ideal that has time and time again been ignored by the addendum of race, gender and sexuality. This is blatantly wrong and the definition of hypocrisy. I say this issue should finally be resolved the way its kindred issues were in the end, through federally mandated intervention.

I am confused as to why there is so much anti-cannabis propaganda when a vast majority is based in emotion and not fact or logic. I was under the impression that a valid and strong argument is based 90% in fact and 10% in emotion. I may be wrong but I personally believe that society would benefit greatly from its legalization and cultivation. Opinions on the subject would be appreciated.

I began chorus last year and I started out mediocre but then got really good. Now it is my senior year of High School and since its beginning I have been asking to practice my choral festival solo so i could have a chance to go to state. Now it's officially one week till festival and despite all of my effort I have only practiced the song three times with my teacher and I cant read the music to do it on my own, tomorrow i leave for spring break. Ive never really done well in anything in my life till this and now its being taken from me and I'm pretty much helpless against it. I practically turned my life around and I'm being spit in the face by society for it. It makes me want to break down and start smoking pot again. It hurts. What do I do? Regardless of how self-sufficient of a person I am I just cant seem to think of a way to fix this.
