I'm a college student with interests in psychology as well as religion. I'm strong in my faith, but also have my own set of morals. You can agree with them or not, I'm not one to judge.

  • Would you want to be told your if....?

Would you want to be told if your boyfriend/girlfriend cheated on you one time in the past, or would you rather just never know?

  • Psych. Majors out there...

What's a good minor to go along with a psych major? I want to get into school/child psychology, I think. I think kids are underestimated in society. Sociology bores me. Any good ideas?

Oh, and a degree in counseling? Is that a masters-level thing? I'm trying to get someone with experience here. How'd you do it?

  • Something to think about...Sex before marriage?

Here's my argument. I'm a christian, but I have my own take on certain issues. God says "no sex outside of marriage". I believe that God makes these boundaries to protect us and keep us safe, emotionally and physically. His intent with marriage was to prevent promiscuity, sexually transmitted diseases, and broken hearts. Here's the problem: what is marriage today? It's a piece of paper. The government has failed to separate the two--and now marriage is now a matter of the state. Do you think that God would approve of a 17 year old and a 49 year old getting married? Do you think they could be equal partners in a healthy relationship? I don't think that God would think so, but as long as they have a piece of paper saying they're married, sex is okay? I see no logic in this. If two people are committed to each other, body and soul, for LIFE, then I see no problem with sex outside of "marriage" aka a piece of paper. Is this not a perfectly logical argument? Tell me what you think...
