I'm planning on buying Left 4 Dead 2 BOXED VERSION. So I want to know if their will be any difference. Will it receive addons by itself if added on Steam? Will I be able to play with my friends? Will there be any difference between the boxed version and the steam version?

So every time I try to watch a video, this message shows up: TV out Enabled. Please connect video accessory. Then it shows a little picture of the top of the charging cable at the top of the screen. What the heck is that supposed to mean? I tried putting the charging cable in the iPod but still the message shows up.

But when I move the mouse left its smoother than a brick sliding on ice. So how do I fix this?
