I find myself incapable of pushing myself to do the things that I know I must do, so much depends on it but I dont want to do it. Its not that I generally lack motivation. I can acheive so much in such short time if I am doing something that I am engaged with and I like but there are these things in life that you just got to push through to get to something better and yet I cant push myself through and this has effected me in many negative ways for example at jobs that I like. Most tasks associated with that job are fun and worth it but this one thing that isnt just sits with me forever till the people around me get pissed off at my tardiness and I somehow crank it out at the worst quality. How do I fix this issue?

Two of my interests that from my early childhood have not waned for me are physical geography and chemistry.
