There was a TV show that came out (maybe?) early 2010's. All I remember is that a large group of people went to a snowy region (Arctic, Canada, Alaska...) for what they thought was a game show of some sort. They got left there by helicopter and if something should happen or if they wanted to leave they were supposed to go down this snowy trail and push this button and somehow it would alert the helicopter to come and get them. Something happens, smaller groups form, and they start fighting against each other. I think someones killed? They go to press the button and nothing happens. It's either broke or never worked in the first place. That's mostly all I can remember. Does anyone know what this show was called?

When applying for a scholarship and they ask what honors and awards you have received, does that mean your whole life (example: Kindergarten) or only the ones that you received during high school? Same question for activities.

I'm doing school work and I have to write three quotes from the book.. Then I have to "explain why this quote is significant to the novel-thematic, character, plot developement, etc." What does thematic mean?

I want a new book to read.. I LOVED The Hunger Games and I like Nicholas Sparks and Stephan King. I also loved Harry Potter. I usually only read Fiction. Any Suggestions??
