Not much, you'd probably find me boring. Especially because I've been cursed with social anxiety that I can't and will not overcome.

  • Do alarm clocks stop going off after a certain amount of snoozes?

I use the alarm clock on my smart phone. I had it set for 8 AM and have to be at the place at 11. So I had over 2 hours to get ready. I also had showered the night before. But instead I kept hitting the snooze button. After about 5-7 times, it simply just stopped going off and I've been using this alarm for years, except I've never hit the snooze button this many times before. If alarm clocks stop going off after so many snoozes, then that's ridiculous. Maybe somebody has over 2 hours to get ready and wants to hit the snooze button for an hour or more.

  • Die my power supply die?

I had an EVGA 600 Watt 80+ Bronze powering my GTX 1080 and I was about to play Skyrim yesterday. The Bethesda logo came up and everything, then all of the sudden a split second after the main menu popped I heard a really loud coil whine in my PC and then all of the sudden I lost power, the screen went completely black. I didn't hear any sudden banging noises like everyone else on the internet says happened directly before loss of power. But I tried giving it about a half hour to cool down and when I tried turning my PC back on, the fans spun for maybe a split second and then stopped and only the LED light for my mouse lit up. I went up to the attic to grab a used 480 Watt, "Golden Deluxe" power supply by some brand called, "A Power". Hooked it all up to my components and everything worked just fine, except I can only use integrated graphics right now due to a lack of the 8 pins required for the power supply and although my 1080 came with the adapter for it, I'm not running a 1080 on a 480 Watt PSU. I'm just curious as to how I heard no explosions coming from the PSU, but putting another one in works?

  • What processor should I get to bring out the full potential of my GTX 1080?

I watched this video on Youtube today by, "Science Studio" and he said that generally when you're just playing games and don't plan on being a big time content creator, then the i5 is fine. I only plan to play games, not stream and all that recording and stuff, although I'm sure you could do it on an i5. I saw another video about the CPU I have now (i5 4690k), and they were saying that it was a bottleneck and I feel like my GTX 1080 could be a lot better with a newer processor.

  • Should I purchase the GTX 1080 now or wait for AMD's VEGA cards?

As I'm patiently waiting for these, "VEGA" cards to come out, I'm hearing about DirectX12 games significantly bottlenecking the GTX 1080 (and other NVidia cards).

I know that I'll be buying newer/future titles coming out and more and more of those games will be featuring DirectX 12.

To hear and see benchmarking being so much better on AMD's side really gets me thinking whether I'll be sorry for purchasing a 1080 in the future. Vulkan seems to be the winning API here for all future games here.

  • What s the difference between a GTX 1080 Founders edition (Reference) card and a non-Founders edition after market cooler GPU?

I ve been looking around for that answer and all I find is, "Founders edition and reference cards are the same thing" (They are). But what s the difference in performance? How well does a FE card run from an ASUS STRIX?

  • The CPU that brings out the full potential of a GTX 1070? Edit?

So, I have an i5 4690k CPU. All I hear is that the 4690k, "WILL" bottleneck the 1070. I'm so confused because at some point I was told that my processor was perfectly fine for gaming on the 1070. Another thing I should mention, is that I've got this 4690k in with my MSI B85-G41 PC mate motherboard and 8GB of 1600 DDR3 Corsair vengeance RAM. I plan on replacing my 1080p 60hz monitor with a 1440p 144hz monitor. So, my big question is, what should my processor be in order to run my future GTX 1070 on 1440p 144hz? and can my current motherboard even handle a skylake i7 processor? I plan to over clock by the way.

  • What should I do with my current PC build?

    --Case: Enermax Ostrog ECA3253-BR

--MotherBoard: MSI B85-G41 Military Class 4 Motherboard

--CPU: Intel Core i5 Devil's canyon 4690K 3.5 Ghz overclocked to about 3.8 Ghz

--CPU Fan: Stock fan that came with it.

--GPU: 4GB memory ASUS DirectCU Mini GTX 970

--RAM: DDR3, 8GB (2x4GB) dual channel Corsair Vengeance

I have 1,574$ to spend on this, so don't hesitate to suggest the best, because for a gaming PC, I'm willing to get the best.

  • What should my next upgrade be in my gaming PC be?

I'm currently working for the summer and I'm willing to spend a lot of money on the most optimizing PC upgrade's. It's very hot over here in New York right now and I'm only using stock fan's. So I'm waiting for my thermal paste to come through the mail because my fan's are due for cleansing right now. So I'm using lower settings in a lot of games right now because of my GPU getting quite hot becoming stressed. I was thinking an SSD (500-1000 GB) first. Next a new motherboard that supports DDR4 over DDR3 so I can replace my current RAM with more bandwidth. I can also sell some of my current part's in turn for more money as well. My GPU was the most expensive out of all of my part's (350$), but I'm thinking when GTX 1080's become cheaper, that I'll get a liquid cooled GPU instead of using airflow dependency.

  • Why are people ignorant to the truth?

Why whenever I tell everyone that life and all of existence is worthless, I get called, "Immature, Attention whore" or something else retarded? I hope we all void, it's as simple as that really. I often find it humorous how people say that suicide is permanent solution to "temporary problem" when life itself is merely temporary. Everything you do, every objective you attempt to accomplish, absolutely everything you do in life will mean nothing when you die. This is the joke of life. You spend your entire life setting all of these arbitrary goals and objectives to achieve, and yet it means nothing. Most humans simply survive to survive, which is meaningless in itself. Why do you survive to survive? What is the point of simply continuing to exist for the sake of the continuation of existence when you are simply going to perish anyway? Most humans do not think about these things, because it leads them to be depressed. They would rather go on living in their elaborate delusions that they're life actually means something, then face the crippling reality that everything, and I mean everything, you do is utterly pointless. You will die. You will be forgotten. In a hundred, or even a thousand years of time, there will likely not even be a trace that you ever existed. Furthermore, there is no God. "God" is a copout people use because they don't want to face the inherent futility of the human existential condition. "Reason's"
