I'm looking for a program where you start with a underscores instead of words in a set text. Then I want to words one by one and have the program insert them into the correct place in the paragraph. Any ideas where I could find one or any tips on how to set about writing one? Cheers

I'm looking for a book that (ideally) gives a quick synopsis of all the major events in human history starting from about 1000BC up to modern day. I know this book would be enormous so do you have any other suggestions. I want to have a general idea of what has happened in history before filling in the detail.

I'm changing my internet provider to BT. They've said that the activation date will be on the 3rd November, however I'm not there on that day to set it up. Will the old broadband work, for the rest of my family, until I am there or does the old one stop as soon as the new one is activated?

One of my ESL students recently asked me to recommend a bilingual dictionary (probably pocket sized). What do you think is the best bilingual dictionary (Spanish-English) for students learning English and very importantly WHY?

I've been looking for a song that uses a lot of reported/indirect speech for my TEFL class tomorrow but can't find any except some old Beatle's songs which my students always hate. Does anyone know of any alternatives (possibly more modern)? Thanks in advance.

I've been trying to think of the name of a movie where in one of the scenes the main character imagines big ants on a train or metro. I can't remember much else about the film except I know it wasn't a horror film. Anyone have an idea?
