my school awarded me a pell grant of $5550 to be divided into two semesters. I have 2 classes at 3 credit hours apiece at $85 a credit hour. I know it is to be reduced to 50% of that because I'm half time. So what am I really getting awarded this semester?

I have things written and want to try to publish them.

How many of you grow up middle class?

Are more likely to date a guy who drinks alot or has durg issues?

Dating a middle class,rich guy or poor guy?

Guy who has intelligence and character or dumb jock?

I really dont want to be with anyone. Im a 26 yr old guy. Im a virgin never had a gf. i've seen nothing but bad relationships in my family and every where else. no ones happy, and i think i would be very unhappy being in a relationship. I know this sounds bad but i dont think i could ever trust a woman, if shes been with other people how long until shes done with me? i dont beleive in love its all money and hormones. I understand that people usually have been with more than 1 person but its that feeling of being used and lied to until something better comes along. so what do i do?

and how do you feel about the "sex sells" philosophy? Nudity, body image and sex scenes and what messages they send to young girls? This is for a sociology class.

my grandmother and step-grandfather have ignored my sister and i our whole lives they come around maybe every 4-7 yrs and act like we should be apologizing to them. they spoil our cousins and ignore us they tell us to get over it, which drives me nuts. i ask for help and they tell us get over it. they spent my dads inheritnce to open a bar which went belly up in 6 months so we grow up poor and they ignore us. when my dad asks them to spend time with us, my grandmother whispers to him that we'll get over it. so my dad says forgive them i say fu'em so who's right?

my father's side disowned me and my sister, we are excluded from everything we're treated like crap . my mothers side is very scattered and no one cares there either. so i;ve never had a birthday party or x-mas with a family. so i feel bummed about the upcoming holidays and my dad says im crying about kid crap and should be a "man" and i feel worthless. my parents put us in this situation and we have to suffer for their mistakes.

they go for the "cool" macho guy who hurts them physically and mentally. but ignore the guy who is actually good. should i be hitting them? treating them like crap? (never would just dumb reasoning)

im named after my grandfather who died in the vietnam war while saving his units radio guys. my paternal grandmothers side (gramps widow) hated him hates the military , cops, and the rest of us lesser people. my paternal grandmothers father beat her sister so much she was institutionalized for yrs but now free and barely stable (stabbed her hubby too, beat her kids). they hate me because im named after him. they treated my dad like crap after gramps died and still do. they've burned me, cut me, beat me with golf clubs and baseball bats. stolen from me and molested me. my dad says forgive i say rip em apart. who's right? would you forgive these freaks?

people with the messy jobs. without people doing those jobs there'd be lots of problems right?

lesbians make me depressed and sad because i think that a guy hurt them and they hate all guys because of that. im okay with gays its just lesbians makes me feel bad. should i feel bad?

so far ive stayed away as much as possible but with my sisters upcoming wedding im very afraid.
