  • Is it legal for my employer to forbid employees from socializing outside the workplace?

I've been working at a bar for about 2 weeks and now the owner has come up with a rule that employees can't socialize outside of work. If we do, we'll get fired. I'm pretty sure this isn't legal but I need some proof before I can go to them and mention it. On a side note, the owner is dating one of the employees so not only is this not legal, its completely hypocritical. Any websites would be helpful! Thanks!

  • What should I do about my sick sugar glider?

He's very lethargic and not eating. I walked upstairs and he was on his back in his cage. I gave him water which he drank a little of and tried giving him a little food and sugar glider formula but he wouldn't eat that so instead I gave him honey which he ate a little of. My vet doesn't know how to deal with sugar gliders and I searched the internet for sugar glider vets and the closest one is over an hour away. I just don't know what to do. Now he's just snuggling near my neck

  • Is it illegal to hunt baby deer?

I don't hunt but I was having a conversation about it and now I'm curious. If it's legal, it shouldn't be but I really need to know.

  • So, my kitten has a stuffy nose?

I took her to the vet and she said it's viral so there aren't any antibiotics for her but the poor thing is so stuffed up now that she has to breathe through her mouth. She even has a hard time purring :( Do you know of anything that will help decongest her or should I take her back to the vet and tell them how stuffy she is? I took her in when she was just sneezing.

  • I just got a 4 month old kitten from the humane society 3 days ago?

She's sneezing pretty frequently. I know that and coughing are signs of an upper respiratory infection. She isn't coughing but I'm worried about the sneezing. I have to take her in to get her rabies vaccination in a few days anyway because she was too tiny at the time but I was just curious if it sounds like a respiratory problem or if maybe she just has allergies or if shes just a little sneezer.

  • Do any vets know why they shave so much of the belly when spaying?

I'm just curious. My kitten got spayed yesterday and they went down to her tail, inside her thighs, and pretty far past her navel. They cover most of it during the operation anyway and the incision is fairly small. I can understand wanting a clean workspace but it seems a tad excessive. On another note, she's the cutest snuggliest thing I've ever seen. Just bragging. :)

  • I just got a 4 month old kitten and she won't use her scratching posts?

I got her a post, a flat cardboard scratching pad and another one that has the scratching pad in the center of a ball on a track and she won't use any. I put catnip on all 3, when she goes for my jeans (thats what she likes to scratch on) i put her right on one of the posts, and i try to play with her on and around them with her toys but shes not getting it. I know she needs to scratch. Her nails are all peeling and she needs to get that off.
