How would you call someone who meets all of the characteristics of "white trash" ie. makes fart jokes, a little racist, never made it through high school, bossy and rude... "white trash," but in a more sophisticated way (you know- because you re better than). How would you explain it to them in a nice way, because they aren t aware of meeting all of the criteria but they really want to know what is up with themself? Sometimes it just is what it is right?

My boyfriend is going through this phase where he says my name like, " maaggsterr" in this really annoying way. I am starting to develop a deep wrinkle in my brow line. I am a little worried because I am a lot like my dad and his brow line wrinkle is like a giant "s." I am just developing a line in my brow, I think I will need to get botox eventually if I need to. Anything I can do, other than wearing sunglasse s and sunscreen that can fight the wrinkle?

I am learning to use culturally competent language in the health care setting and the LGBTQ community. I am wondering, if I don't know if a person identifies themselves as transsexual or transgender or another trans-identity, is it appropriate to say, "he or she is trans" or "he is a transperson?" It sounds a little awkward. How is the most appropriate way to say it if I am unable to ask them how they identify themselves?

Interventions such as the Gardens and Exercise club could be explicitly helpful in the context of Santa Clara County especially in targeted areas. Areas in Santa Clara County with the highest obesity rates directly correspond to socio-economic factors and access to fresh foods and physical activity (cite). In Santa Clara County, the highest adult obesity rates include: Morgan Hill and Gilroy, regions around Blossom Valley, North Valley San Jose, and West San Jose (SCCPHD, 2010). Therefore, it would be important to focus interventions, such as the Gardens and Exercise club, in these areas. Communities in Blossom Valley, North Valley San Jose and West San Jose have stark environmental contrasts to communities with lower obesity rates such as Saratoga, Cupertino and Los Gatos. Communities with higher rates of obesity live in more impacted environments and have fewer trees and agriculture areas or areas to promote exercise. However, these communities also have plenty of under utilized land space that could be used for a community garden and exercise areas (Google Maps, 2013). An Intervention such as a Garden and Exercise club would be tailored to communities at risk for obesity because it would provide these communities with access to land resources for gardening and exercise. In addition, members of the community could be actively involved in developing the gardens and exercise space in their neighborhoods, creating a sense of community ownership with the projects, and enhancing community identity.

Recent changes in social policies have awarded Santa Clara County resources to implement health promotion and disease prevention measures, including obesity interventions. After the Affordable Care Act was passed, more emphasis is being placed on legislative policies for health care including preventative measures such as land use development to promote healthier communities (cite?). Some legislative policies that would benefit a program such as the Gardens and Exercise club include: establishing efforts to encourage “smart growth” land decisions, increasing and continuing maintenance of adequate open space and park lands, and continued local control over land use decisions (Smith, Jeffrey, 2013). It would also be imperative for the Garden and Exercise club to utilize resources in order to fund club initiatives. Therefore, The Gardens and Exercise club would need to persuade the Department of Health and Human Services to allocate a portion of funds from the Communities Putting Prevention to Work grant (CPPW), which received $3.6 million towards the Obesity Prevention Initiative, for designing an implementing community garden and exercise areas in various places in the community (SCCgov.org, 2012). Interventions such as the Garden and Exercise club have great potential for obesity intervention if it gains community support, and community supporters are willing to advocate at the policy level to gain funding.

There are many definitions of a teenage birth, ranging from 12 years old to 19 years old (some may even consider 20 y/o). I am looking for what the U.S. considers a teenage birth. Believe it or not, I think the stats. only include 14 y/o or older until 19 y/o. (but I'm not exactly sure on this range)

I have a hint: I need to use a CASE DEFINITION, of teenage birth. For ex. teenage birth is considered 14-19 y/o. or 13/18 y/o. My instructions are that I need to decide what is appropriate years of age, but the U.S. also has our own def. of years of age (for teenage births) and I believe it is 14-19 y/o but I'm not sure...? I am desperate to print up a paper tonight, ran out of ink. I found an ink injection set with black ink and needle and ink but can't figure where or how to inject the ink into and HP 92 ink cartridge. I have been buying this model for years and have a whole stock pile of them (empty ones). One says "Hp" another version says office Max, they seem to have the same tape layer. should I peel back the layer? How do I inject the ink? Thanks!

Ok- I just got a smart phone last week and I have been having a lot of fun with it. I discovered "Yahoo Answers" three days ago and found it really fun-at first. I spent a lot of time answering questions for other people and I put effort into my answers. Many of my answers were about grammar and family/relationship things, naming pets... I asked a couple of questions that were slightly "off" after a couple of glasses of wine. The next day, I saw the question I asked, which really wasn't that bad in my opinion. It concerned how to take care of my dying dog...and I have had trouble convincing my BF how to put him down. Then I asked a question about being a caregiver and a couple of other questions that logically to me weren't that bad and a few people 'jumped all over me, "saying, I should never have kids... stay away away from all people and animals...I need to grow up.." I don't know how they are able to see my complete record, but one chick said she was able to see everything I said in all my questions and answers and she said she thinks I am a freak. Well, I am not a freak. I was just wasting a little time (which I rarely get to do) messing around. I am about ready to give up on this habit of Yahoo answers, but I like the ability to answer/ask anonymous questions freely. I am wondering how to prevent people how to view my other questions or answers and how to protect my privacy on this site so that this won't link to me and hurt me.
