As in, A made fun of B every day for being totally Hamburger Helpless. Now, I get what Hamburger Helper is, a garnish type of thing and a brand name. But what kind of person is a 'totally Hamburger Helpless' one?

So, there's a guy who's into underage girls. He lives with one who he met when she was 13. At this point, she looks like she's 18 or 20. Their acquaintance says, "Ask me, he lets (girl's name) linger. Cos, in the right light, she don't look like she's quite aged out yet."

So, what is this 'linger' or 'let linger' all about?

Doesn't matter if Hindi of South (Tamil, Telugu), only movie titles containing "white", in English or in corresponding language.

I came across these two word combinations and am quite clueless as to what they mean.

"It's a damn shame. They say he dind't make tenure."

I enjoy watching Tamil movies but not all of them have English subtitles. Mostly I can do with reviews and plots that I find on the net but I'd still like to know what their titles mean.

I need to render a dialogue in reported speech. A woman tells her acquaintance that she was born in Boston. Verb phrase "to be born" is most commonly used in Simple Past. But if I got to render the dialogue in reported speech will it be "She told Peter she was born in Boston" or "She told Peter she had been born in Boston"? I'd rather use Past Perfect. Is it correct?

I saw a Tamil language movie, Angadi Theru, with Eng subs of course since I don't speak Tamil.

Now, there was one obscure expression I cannot make out.

A girl was abusing a boy either for talking too much or for talking silly things and called him a "dim mouth". Wonder what it might mean, don't know such expression to be used in English.
