Any idea of when this radio was made ? Currently it won't power on, and I wonder if there would be glass vacuum tubes inside.
8 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs6 years agoPS7 - Cut 1 image into 100+ small sections (save as new files).?
In Photoshop 7, I'm trying to automate saving over 150 sections of a large image.
Any help you can offer would be appreciated.
My main trouble is recording the action of saving the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc files because they all try to save as untitled01 (uses the same name). I need over 150 different new file names, all cut from the same original image file.

Do they still place paper tickets on windshields ?
I came back to my car about 40 minutes too late (meter blinking red LEDs). Did I just get lucky... or does the city robo-mail tickets to registered vehicle owners ?
2 AnswersSan Francisco9 years agoDo they sell 16/2 "romex" cable?
I'd like to wire my ceiling for 10 down light fixtures.
The TOTAL circuit amperage is only 1.5 amps (because they'll be permanently wired LED fixtures made by Cree.
Can I run 16 gauge NM cable in the ceiling joist area ?
I'm not even sure if they sell it, as I'm finding it difficult to locate a place to buy it on-line (running 14 gauge seems like a waste of all that extra copper).
3 AnswersDo It Yourself (DIY)10 years agoSealing diesel fumes (away) from under concrete floor?
Old 5 gallon diesel fuel metal can rusted, fuel seeped under house foundation.
The smell is now entering the house through concrete crawl space "basement".
Is there some kind of sealer I can use to stop the fumes from entering ?
A few difficulties I face is that concrete floor is not level (follows the outside hill slope), and does appear to have several long cracks. The soil has a high clay content, and I fear this bad smelling liquid will linger for years.
2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoReading one block of data from HDD?
Does a HDD really just "read" the block of data, or does it also re-write that data back down again after reading ? Am I being to imaginative... like if the leading edge of the head was to read, and the trailing edge was to write back down the same data (when the user is just asking to "read" some file.
