  • 2 whole eggs in place of 6 egg whites?

I have a recipe that says use 6 egg white for a omelet (mushroom omelet from P90X). That seems like a hugh portion for me and a waste of yolks. I usually only use 2 whole eggs for a omelet.

Instead of using 6 egg whites can I just use 1 whole egg or 1 whole & 1 white in place of that.

I know the calories would be about 6 white-90--100 cals vs wh1 whole egg- 75 cals or 1 whole & 1 white- 90 cals. But what about the cholesterol, sodium, ect...

    TIA

  • MCM sold my account to FBCS what do I do now?

I had a old collection account with MCM. I called them today and they said it was taken over by FBCS. I pulled my credit report 7/13/10- Tuesday before ever calling them and it showed the same old collection account with MCM. There was nothing on there about Federal Bonding & Collection (FBCS). And I have never received anything from FBCS saying I owe money.

So who do I talk with about settling this account? Or what do I do now? (I need to get this setteled asap.)

  • I need help finding my "base period" for unemployment benefits?

I think I'm over thinking what I'm trying to find. Here's what I'm looking for:

Unemployment insurance benefits are based on wages paid for insured work in a one-year period called a "base period." The base period is the first four of the last five completed calendar quarters that are prior to the date of the initial claim, not the date you become unemployed.

My last day of work is March 29th, 2010 then I'm laid off so what months would be my base period?

Being laid off sucks :( Thanks for the help.

  • Fixed dog in heat or UTI?

My fixed, 2yr old female dog has a slightly red vulva but the skin area right above her vulva that kinda curves around it (but below her butt hole) is swollen.

I noticed when we were outside today, see was peeing ever 2-5mins (but not drinking enough to make her pee that much.) I didn't see any blood or discharge.

She's my first female dog so I've been reading a few things online but I'm not she if she's in heat or can go into heat even though she's fixed (fixed since she was a puppy). So does this sound like she's in heat or maybe a UTI, infection?

She wouldn't eat her dinner, so this kinda tells me that she's not feeling good and I wanna try to help my poor baby girl.

Any advice on comforting her would also be great.

  • Can you be a teller at one bank but bank with a different one?

I bank with XXX Credit Union but they aren't hiring, so I thought that I would apply with different banks that are. But can I work for and bank at 2 different ones?

I really like my current one and WON"T be chaning it for several reasons (I don't feel like listing.)

Wouldn't it be the same as working at grocery store A but shopping at grocery store B? I mean just because you work for them, doesn't mean you have to buy from them. Right?!

  • What's the point of a wedding band?

I mean why can't you just have 1 ring, your wedding/engagement ring? Where did the 2nd ring come about? Men only have 1 ring so why do we have to have two?

I have an engagement ring and don't really know the reason why I should spend money on a 2nd ring. At the ceremony I could just take the one I have off use that or I could not wear my ring at all until our ceremony.

What's your opinions on the 2nd ring/ wedding band?

  • What color to paint bathroom, keeping this in mind?

We have a white tub, toilet, sink that is under-mounted to a black Granite counter top. The floor and shower have beige/sand color tile. The hallway and living room leading to the bathroom are a darker blue grey color. Then my dinning room and kitchen are carmel. (We painted the living room and kitchen those colors because we have a stone fire place that has grey blue stones with a few orange brown stones.)

I'm thinking a yellow or beige color in the bathroom might make it plain and washed out. So I was thinking about going with a light blue or green. Should I go with a blue so that the living room and bathroom kinda blend together or go with a green to give it a different contrast? (It's a small bathroom so I will only be using light, but not to bright colors.)

If I paint it green, do you think the colors going to be out of place? Or should I just go with a light color(beige) to match the kitchens colors?

I know it's a lot of details but I don't want a house full of different colors that don't go together since it's a smaller home and the rooms are close together.

    Thanks for any opinions.

  • How to transition from tile floor to hardwood?

We are re-doing our bathroom to have tile floors that will need to transition onto our hardwood (but we currently have carpet but are install hardwood when the bathrooms done). People have mentioned to transition it with a marble piece but we had that on the previous tile and it was a different color, looked like crap and of a different height so u would stub your toe while walking.

Are this pictures examples of how to transition from one room to another? Or are they bad craftsman's ship or done wrong?

    http://www.amasterofalltrades.com/samples/20090413...

Only thing is we are planning on laying the tile square not diamond.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. TIA!

  • What do you think of this all-inclusive price for Jamica?

Does (around) $3,600 for all-inclusive 6 nights in a basic room in Negril Jamaica seem about average or high/low? This includes 2 adults with Airfare.

    Thanks!

  • What type of frame for a sleep number bed?

I have a series 5000 queen sleep number bed and I can't remember if I can use any type of queen bed frame or if it has to have a solid platform for the bed to lay or can it just have rails going across the bottom? (I'm talking about the bottom of the bed frame where the middle of the bed will rest not the outside frame that the corner/sides of the bed will set on.)

    TIA

  • Where can I buy an Svengali Deck?

Besides online. Are there any usual store that sells them? Also how many cards should it have? Some only say 42-48 and that seems really low. I'm buying it as a gift so any info on them would be helpful?

  • What's comparable to Oliver Wine brand?

I'm not a big wine drinker (but I have a taste for beer) so I'm trying to gain a taste for it. I had Oliver soft red wine a few days ago and it was really good.

I've tried lambrusco and didn't like it. I also don't care for any Arbor Mist. I'm interested in something comparable to Oliver wine's. Nothing to expensive or dry. Red, rose or white, doesn't mater. Would prefer that it's best cold, but my options are open. I'm looking for a casual drinking wine.

I also get had aches from "crappie" wines/liquor so please don't list anything that may cause that. And try to list something that I can find in wine stores, not just online.

I have gone to a wine store and the guy treated me like I was stupid so I would like to try and figure something out with ya'lls advice..

    TIA

  • Any ideas about a 2006 Chevy silverado 1500 a/c & heat that won't blow?

A few days ago, the air was hardly blowing on high. Then after 10 minutes there was a loud kick sound and it came on to high speed. But yesterday it stated again , hardly any air is coming out (heat or a/c) and then no air. We checked all the fuses and the coolant, which are fine. Seems like the fan won't come on or could it be the compressore? There was heat and cold air but it just stop blowing out.

    What else should we check?

Is it something that we could replace?

I know where the compressor is but having trouble finding the fan. There's a black box on the passanger foot side and I could usually hear the found around there but now there's nothing but a click sound. Is the fan in there and do I access it form inside or under the truck?

    TIA.

  • Dog cookie recipes for a dog with allergies?

My dog has been having terrible food allergies for past few months (his feet are swollen and keeps chewing on them) he gets up to 4 benadryl a day but is still so itchy and miserable. We switched his food to California Natural (Herring and sweet potatoes) to cut out most by- products and all that crap. I need to find a recipes for doggie cookies that contain no flour, corn so we can try to figure out what he is allergic to. Is there such a recipe? I see a few with wheat flour but kinda want to avoid them. If you have any other suggestion, please let me know.

    TIA
