I mean, the girl is my junior (and she knows who I am) and I have had feelings for her for 4-5 months now. I couldn't get myself to talk to her or get into contact with her because it is my first time. I haven't had any girlfriends or anything like that before this. But now, I want to make things a little easier. I just want your opinions on whether it is suitable or should I first get into the "friends" phase and then get into the "love" phase. I know gold is a hedge against inflation because its value increases with inflation. But consider the situation when (suppose) there is a civil war in America. It means that american demand for gold will fall to a great extent and the international demand too and in turn the international price for gold would go down. isnt it? No matter where the investor lives, he will suffer. in this case gold is not a hedge against this civil war. ( I am right, aint I?)

Ok, this is the situation. i have got data of dates. there are two columns and i want to find the difference between them, i.e. the number of days between them. one of them is in the format 23-Mar-08, and the other one is in the format 23/03/2008. (there is an apostrophe before the date in the formula bar, i dont know why is it put there, if someone knows plz enlighten me about this too.)

anyways, when i calculate the number of days, it treats the latter as mm/dd/yy. how can i overcome this problem?

Example: i have one date as 24-Apr-08 in A1 and the other one as 06/01/2008 in B1 (with an apostrophe before it too, in the formula bar). when i apply the subtract function, =A1-B1, it gives me -38 as the answer. i.e. treating 06/01/2008 as June 1, 2008. The answer should be 109 instead.

my pc was infected with some virus and i reinstalled windows. i noticed that my pc had lost its sound, video and ethernet drivers(i think).now there is no sound no internet and no vga hardware working in my computer. i mean that there is no sound in my computer. same is the case with internet.when i go to device manager there are exclamatory signs on "ethernet controller", "PCI device, "SM bus controller", "vga compatible". now i think i need to reinstall these devices but i dont know how to do this. should i download drivers from internet or from some cd. can you people tell me what i should do.

i have a hp laserjet printer and want to download a driver for it. can someone please tell me where to download the driver and how to install it because sometimes i download the driver and there are wierd types of files and i dont know how to install it(there is no file like setup.exe). please answer correctly and explain it. its urgently needed.
