4 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoIsn't Green Zone extremely underrated?
Beginning reviews were outstanding, then the bad came in. I got that. But besides one, no other review says it's extremely terrible. Still, Rotten Tomatoes.com gave their consensus early with only 23 reviews. Don't they do that with... I don't know...when 50 come in?
I think at least a 58. I actually saw a screening and loved it.

6 AnswersVideo & Online Games1 decade agoHow do you like the beginning of my Urban Fantasy novel?
The ghoul howled, and I ran to my car, parked one street away. Fire extinguishers blew apart and water was spraying everywhere. The ground was breaking apart and the sun was finally covered by the clouds. One whip grabbed a hold of me. I tumbled down to the ground. The ghoul was out of the alleyway and exposed to the small amount of people there. I took the butt of my pistol and clubbed the whip. The whip let go, and I shot it one. It withered and fell. I stepped on it, and let loose another grenade.
The fire was absorbed by the ghoul, just as I guessed. Studying actually helps! The ghoul wasn’t knocked down, but it was startled. I finally came to my Audi R8, and jumped in. I didn’t wait for the engine to heat up, but I stepped on the accelerator. I took out the sword hidden in the bottom, and opened the window. The ghoul was walking towards me. Just as I hoped, a dozen whips lashed at me. I didn’t need really work my sword. I still drove, taking a left. The whips followed. I took a right, heading for the fields with no one there. It wasn’t that easy. The ground was still blasting apart, the earth was covering the front window, but I still drove. I made a sudden 360, my sword sticking out of the window. I felt the heat. It was ready.
I jumped out, rolling. The orange whips circled me. I held out my sword, and let all of the energy out. It wasn’t magic inside me. I was given this magical sword, and I trained myself to use it. The more active the sword gets, the more energy it receives, and that was happening. White-hot fire blasted out, obliterating the whips, and then more came. I closed my eyes, the booming fire aiming only for the dark energy.
More whips came from all sides, and the fire reciprocated the attack, changing its shape into shooting stars. The fire overpowered the ghoul’s attack weapons. Then I felt all of them come. I opened my eyes and roared. The fire glued back together, and then became a tide of flame, burning the whips into crisps. I smiled; the ghoul finally came. It was behind me, but I felt it. The ghoul was screaming. The field had sand and grass, and its fences were in perfect shape. The benches were still together. I was relieved, because my sword’s power hadn’t gotten haywire. There was only one thing left to do.
“Hey ghoul,” I began. The ghoul muttered a “what?” I felt triumphant and victorious. I twirled to face the creature and threw my sword, aiming for the ghoul’s stomach. The fire followed, and both blasted the ghoul into chunks of blood and guts. The green blood and white pus flew everywhere, the fire was absorbed. The sword appeared in my hand after a whoosh of the air. I walked towards my Audi. That’s what you call a sexy victory.

My house is a one story flat. It’s wide and the top-hat style roof is still pretty high. My flat has white bricks, and it’s in a rich neighborhood. People come to my office for their own needs, and I have a new non-paranormal case four days a week. I’m pretty rich because of my job. People love me, and I have nothing better to do than solving mysteries. I don’t really care about a house, but as long as I have a good TV, a PS3, and a couple of rooms to live in, I’m good.
Little did I know that someone-or something- ransacked the crap out of my house. When I entered my flat, I let my jaw plummet. My flat used to be clean and didn’t have much furniture. There was one door all the way to a corner that lead to the huge bathroom, and one door in the other corner leading to one master bedroom. There used to be a huge chandelier in the middle of my house, but it had fallen down, crushing the dining table beneath it. The carpets were ripped apart. My windows were shattered. My LED was on the floor and my PlayStation had been…bitten into pieces. I bet my room was messy, too. Also, the gold sheen was losing its brightness. I roared; I wasn’t going to let someone destroy my only shelter. Right then, the door of my bedroom opened.
Chapter 3
My eyes were seared with anger. I saw a plump and balding man, with a red night robe. He had one blond woman in each arm. They had plastic smiles, plastic skin, and disgusted me. The man had a pock-marked face, and his beady eyes were looking at me. His several chins were mesmeric; did they always jiggle uncontrollably? I took out my Desert Eagle.
“This is my house,” I said, “and you can’t just barge in. Where did you get a lock? What are you doing here? Who the hell are you? Tell me know, you bastard.” The fat man smiled elusively. He wasn’t going to say anything, I knew it. I aimed my pistol at one woman’s heart, and fired.
The woman roared, and suddenly, I stiffened. She had black eyes, and her teeth had elongated. There was blood seeping out, but she didn’t even wince. I understood it all at once.
These people weren’t human, that was for sure. They destroyed my home, and ate an electronic. They had to be jingchalfu’. They were basic

1 AnswerVideo & Online Games1 decade agoAre Urban Fantasy authors losing it?
I mean, mostly these days, most urban fantasy thrillers are about romance. That"s why I hesitate picking up a thriller with a female protagonist. The Dresden Files and the Twenty Palaces Society series rock.

6 AnswersVideo & Online Games1 decade agoWhat is the best title for my thriller novel?
It's about 2 young men. They're twins. One becomes a small-time thug, one becomes an engineer.
Johnny Kumar the cool, buff reckless one gets tied up in a series of dilemmas. He accidentally kills the illegal financier for a drug lord he wanted to talk to.
Nathan Kumar -the nice one- sees his wife get sniped before him in Capetown. He wants to find Johnny because he thinks someone mixed up who they were supposed to kill, and Nathan didn't do anything illegal!
At the same time, a woman was murdered in Mumbai-where Johnny lived!
London rumored the death was in New York.
I would say Hell's Glory, since Johnny is the central character and all he wants is money and glory, but he wants to do illegal things so it's like getting glory from hell itself. He encounters many gangs.
1 AnswerBooks & Authors1 decade agoDoesn't KAMINEY deserve a better DVD?

The action is different and gory.
3 AnswersBooks & Authors1 decade agoNew ways to introduce action in a novel?
I mean, a young man using a pen throughout the whole novel to bash people up quite graphically? Or a copter with only back (and UNDER?) propellers?
So far the only thing making a new entrance for fights in my action is the sheer brutality- like frying pans, nail clippers, serrated wires, and bashing people up with running fans.
Violent, right?

1 AnswerMovies1 decade agoWhat do you think of the film adaptation of The Bourne Ultimatum?
I think it's beautifully executed. Someone gave me a b-day gift in the form of this film's 2 disc DVD. but i thought it was going to be boring. and missed out on it for a year and a half. But then I saw that rottentomatoes.com gave it a 93%/100, just 1% less then Casino Royale(which I love). Then I saw it(2 days ago), and was mind boggled. It's nearly perfect with amazing, brutal action and a perfect performance by Matt Damon. It just had some parts that were boring and didn't have any energy. Just like 3.
9.4/10(near perfect)
Also, can anyone tell me if the game's any good(for a game, not like for a fan)?
5 AnswersMovies1 decade agoAm I the only one who likes the new Bourne books?
They're sad compared to the original trilogy, but they're very fun to read, though they are also cheesy at times. But all of them are unpredictable and that helps.
I like Sanction best, then Betrayal, then Deception, then Legacy.
