i installed my skunk2 header in my si but i havnt got any motor mounts yet. i have a set of boomba mounts on order, so my questions are...

1/ how much damage will light driving do in short term until i can get these mounts in

2/ how long will it take to crack the header

3/ if im driving light...not dogging it...will i be ok until early next week

4/ i got some high temp fiber glass tape and wrapped it around 4 or 5 times where the header is contacting axle...will this help since no metal to metal contact or is it still bad idea to drive

performance wise not so much looks. got injen cai so far. looking for a few i guess you would say easy mods. been researching FI control modules anyone have experience with those? any other ideas welcome. thx

ok so my wifes friend was following to close and rear ended me. its her fault they know it. her dad whom she still lives with and the insurance policy is under is being a prick. my quote is 687 and some change. my insurance company made me go to this place bc they contract w them and require the quote from them. this guy says that the quote is his responsibility but this makes no sense seeming i would not hand my keys to him and let him get one nor should i inconviance myself when he is liable to begin with. his deductible is 1k so the 687 falls under that. couple questions

1. can i get the payment from hiis ins and then they hold him reliable....like can my ins company collect payment and he pay his ins later.

2. do i have to consent to let him get quotes from ppl he knows that may be shitty shops that dont offer warranty or do shabby work.

3. if i take him to court will he have to pay court costs?

My standard issue summer boots are running on there last thread and I have more on order from my supply sgt. Im sure im not the only one that thinks there horrible to break in and still not too comfortable after that even. I heard the nike boots are wonderful and have no break in time. does anyone have these and are they as good as there cracked up to be and worth the money? also anyone have suggestions on any other brand?? thanks for imput.

i am a MP in the AL army nat. guard....and they are taking volunteers from my unit to help w/ the disaster. my question is what in general are we doing on a daily basis what would the task consist of and what use would a MP provide.....or just general labor not pertaining to my MOS. anyone involved in the cleanup could answer would help. ty.

I had the ipod touch first. I have a ton of songs on it and they are sync'd to my iTunes. Now me and my wife both have iPhones. when i sync either of the iPhones it removes all of my songs from the iTunes library and this is fusterating. Is there a way to get it to keep the songs from the ipod touch AND add songs from the iPhone's w/o deleting evry time i sync? Thanks for any legit answers.

I have movie i want to put on a dvd and at first i had probs viewing in windows media. I installed a codec and fixed that prob and burned the dvd. Now the dvd will not play on any other computer dvd player or ps3. how do i get the torrent file to burn to where the players can recognize the media. 10pts to first who gets this dvd workin!

i just bought an apple macbook pro the 15" with 500g etc and im having trouble w. removing programs. on windows you just go to controll panel and add remove programs. how do i do this on the apple with mac snow leopard OS. i installed mp3 rocket and its not working and need to get it off. PLZ HELP

Im enlisted in the Army and ship oct23. I'm looking to get my lungs and heart in better shape b4 i ship to boot camp. My biggest issue is going to be having to run 2 miles in 16:30. That wont be a prob if i dont have to stop to cough up a lung but i need a good plan as far as what excercises to do how long to do them how many days a week etc. Thank you.

Enlisting in the army next Thursday and thinking about enlisting as a MP. I want something that I can use in a tour of duty but not straight infantry cause you dont really come back to the states with any skill you can use. Is this a good choice? I know thats a matter of personal opinion but what are the downfalls if any to Army MP.

Also, if you object to enlisting as a MP please list what you would do instead so I could explore that possibility. Thanks.

Aside from cold air intake, what are some other fairly cheap and simple ways to up hp on my car. Already got the H22A VTEC. Also, are all cold air brands the same or do some of them just suck. K&N are high as hell but i want that brand. any other cheaper ones ya recommend?
