Why is it sexy or hot when a skinny cute chick has a lot of tattoos but if a big woman has them it is horrible? I am big and I have a lot of tattoos, some are pretty big and I am getting the inside of my left forearm filled up soon. I am college educated with a degree and still looked down on. I have a friend that I have know since we were babies and I am not going to lie she is beautiful and she has way more than me and hers are bigger, so why do people seem to have such hugely different reactions. Why does it seem cool for her to have them but people seem to look at me like I am a less than them? The funny thing is not ha ha funny is I catch MYSELF doing the same thing sometimes, and it is so interesting to me that I know better and still have that first reaction.

I am going to get a Ganesh tattoo this week and was asked if I wanted it in color or shaded, I said black with shading because I was scared it would look cartoonish. I have since seen some beautiful and respectful color tattoos of Ganesh, so here is the question: As an artist do you draw the tattoo up differently depending if there is color to be added or not? I am thinking I now want color but I don't want to upset or insult my artist. Also I want it to look feminine since I am a woman.

I am getting a large tattoo on the inside of my forearm area this friday and I was wondering how long I should wait till I start toning class or yoga? I don't want to put any undue stress on it.

I cannot wear earrings without having a bad reaction, no matter the quality, so I was thinking about getting my ear cartilage tattooed with perhaps a butterfly but don't want to if it is more likely to blur over time. Please let me know your experiences.

I live in Michigan and can't have a year round garden outside. I am wondering if I got a very large planter if I could keep and grow a bunch of things together such as sage, thyme, rosemary, basil, sage, oregano, peppermint ...... inside my house. I have never been a "plant" person but it would be so wonderful to have fresh spices all the time.

I have an Om tattoo and when I was looking it up, the stuff I was reading said it is considered in poor taste to have it below the waist and so I was wondering if it is the same for a Ganesha tattoo, considering it is a hindu God. I don't want to insult anyone of that religion, however, I really enjoy the meaning behind this particular God and the different things he holds and has near him.

I have a dog that has allergies and she sometimes she gets red spots on her belly that itch. She then will, of course, scratch them. My question is: What can I treat the spots with before they turn into sores and also once there are sores what is safe for cleaning them. I am supposed to start her on benadryl and I will but I really need to know what creams are safe on her belly.

I am currently renting a house and noticed that where there is a tree blocking the sun we get greenish stuff growing on the deck and vinyl siding of the house. I need to know what is safe and effective for removing this stuff, please.

This is not my first tattoo it is my 12th, however, it is the first tattoo I have had on top of my foot. It has been three weeks now and it is still peeling around the tattoo, why is it still doing it? Why is the heeling of this tattoo so different from the others?

I do need to say I have only been wearing flip-flops since getting the tattoo, no socks or anything like that.

I just got a tattoo about 5 hrs ago, I was washing it and noticed it feels rough when I wash it or apply a very thin layer of A&D ointment on it? Is this normal? This has not happened to my other 11 that I have. I need advice please.

I got my nose pierced last year and the red never went away till I removed it. I want a tongue ring but I don't want to waste my money and experience the pain if the same thing is going to happen.

Is there a lower instance of allergic reactions in the tongue? How much does it cost usually (a range)? I get an allergic reaction when I wear earrings in my original piercings from when I was 8 that was 24 yrs ago!

I think those tattoos of the skeletons with the pink bow are SO cute but they, in my opinion, are too popular. I was trying to think of an alternative and I was thinking of a skeleton with the old nurses hat on the head with a pink cross rather than a red one (instead of the pink bow). I need a touch up on my tattoo and I was wondering how long is a good time to wait? I was thinking two weeks after but I want to make sure. Should I call the artist now and set up an appointment for the touch up I need?

Is it not going deep enough or going to deep? Or is it skin type? I realize they do it over time but are some people more prone to it happening to them?

I got a wrist tattoo about four days ago and I just noticed it is peeling. Is this normal? I did stop putting A&D ointment on it yesterday.

I have an appointment to get a tattoo of two swallows above my knee next Friday. Here is the problem: I am a big girl 200lbs+ and I plan on losing weight and exercising a lot this summer and I am worried about what that will do to the tattoo. I am thinking there would be less change in my forearm so I was thinking about switching to the inside of my forearms.

I do take blood thinners but I stopped taking them about 2 weeks before getting tattooed and yet I did bleed more than usual. It wasn't pouring out just bubbling up and it seems like a lot more than usual. I am concerned because I don't want to have the ink bleed out when I get my next one in a couple of days?

Are there any precautions I can take to prevent this from happening again? Less water? Please help.

I have been wondering what other people think about the number of tattoos on women. My brothers have a lot of tattoos, maybe 15 but they are big ones. I know have eight and they say it is too many for a woman. Much to their displeasure I do plan to get more. All of mine are only visible if I choose to make them so.

I sometimes wonder what is too much? Is the number different for woman, and if so why? I love tattoos, and I think they are sexy on everyone. I am a thirty something year old married mother of two and I have decided to worry less about what others think of me and do what I like with my body.

I just believe it is an interesting question regarding gender, why isn't it "okay" for woman to have a lot of tattoos? Another interesting note to make is that both of my brothers think Kat Von D is hot with all of her tattoos, why not a sister, wife or mother?
