In the hospital two days ago and learned I was still at 1cm 50% effaced... Today I had a check up and found out Im still 1cm but now 75% effaced. Been having steady (and PAINFUL) contractions since yesterday (not getting closer in timing just intensity) and mensie like cramps and consistent awful back pain. Had a mucousy discharge over the weekend with snotty yellowish texture and also a glob of mucous with brownish red tinge. No water break. Soooo I'm not sure if I should go in again tonight or wait longer... I don't see my Dr again until Monday. I'm awfully uncomfy and nauseas! First time mommy frustrated with going to the L&D over and over again for false alarms... Any mommy's out there have advice for me???

All day today I've had SO many of what I think are Braxton Hicks contractions, anywhere from 2-6 an hour. They're really painful!! My lower back is hurting, and I've been having on and off period-like cramps. No mucus plug or water breaking, but its making me a little nervous... Is this normal? I wanted to wait until tomorrow to call my OB but I'm wondering how normal this is and if most women go through this at this many weeks. This is my first pregnancy, so I'm trying not to over - react, like I said I do think these are Braxton Hicks, but I would like a general opinion. Any POSITIVE/CONSTRUCTIVE feedback would be great!! thank you!!

TMI... but my lady parts are really swollen, painful, and itchy. Normally I'd think it was a yeast infection but there's no odor or odd discharge. The itchiness isn't inside like a usual yeast infection, its my actual labia that are irrirated and swollen. Anyone have this happen to them or know anything about this? My OB appt is Tuesday but it would be nice to hear some opinions before I call or see him. Thanks!

Baby boy kicks really hard and very often... I can already see and feel him through my tummy! He kicks up high, right underneath where my bra ends. I feel like he's developing really quickly. Has anyone ever had their due date change midway through pregnancy?? Is it possible that he's just growing really quickly and is already really strong?

Bad credit and two dogs. How in the world are we going to be able to rent an apartment in California? Unemployment is high, cost of living is outrageous, and finding a rental is proving to be impossible. We're very seriously considering moving out of state... is Arizona a better option? Here's the story- i lost my job and my apartment and am now living on my sisters couch with my small dog. I'm completely out of funds and am not getting the tax return i expected. My fiancee is just retired from the Army and is staying at his parents house waiting for his retirement money. We've been together for 5yrs, and I feel like I've lost everything. My boyfriend has kept secrets about a companionship with another girl for about 6months. We've fought about her for about that long, but I always ended up biting my tongue. Even in our darkest fights he never came clean. I finally discovered this slowly, one piece of information at a time.

I didn't know she worked with him for about 4 months, I didn't know they had classes right next door to eachother at the same time, I didn't know she was at his birthday dinner (granted, she's the boss's daughter, a family friend), and I didn't know he had invited her to a party with our two good friends at our apartment complex before I even moved in. She spent time with my neighbors before I had even met them. No one said anything to me.

i just finished my 1st round of depo-provera. i got sick last week with a cold, and now its been 8 days. Still sick, now with a sinus infection, body aches, really bad stomach cramping, and brown discharge.

is this related to the depo shot? when is it "bad" enough to see the doctor??

this girl from his job keeps texting him randomly, and he hasn't done anything to get her to back off. i just found out that they have college classes next to each other, at the same time. supposedly she has a boyfriend, but her texts are pretty flirty. im not comfortable with this at all, and have made this clear to my boyfriend (of 5 years), but he just responds with "im psycho" and that I "should look at my facebook and see all the guys that hit you up." when i demanded that he text her to send a "take it easy on hitting me up, my girl is a little awkward about it since you guys havent met yet, i feel like she thinks somethings going on" text, he flipped out and completely defied doing it.

i dont know what to do, i feel like my heart is being ripped out of me. this is by far the worst feeling ive ever felt in my life.
