Skateboard or penny/nickelboard is easier?
I have a skateboard from a long time ago, and I want to use it only for cruising (no tricks) it appears that I, on the skateboard, am skateboarding very slow. Would a pennyboard be easier or faster than a regular skateboard? Or should I just keep my old skateboard? Any tips for balancing or anything else regarding skateboards in general? Should I just suck it up and keep practicing? I'm 5'1 with women's 7 size feet if that makes a difference? Sorry just rambling at this point, but yea, Thanks

1 AnswerChemistry8 years agoIf you work at Starbucks or know about the icon/city/state mugs, answer this question?
I've been collecting the icon series for the city, state, and country Starbucks mugs for a while, but after visiting some Starbucks, I've noticed that they don't have those in the shop anymore, they have a different and not-as-great design, the you-are-here series. Has Starbucks discontinued the icon mug series and replaced it with the you-are-here series??
Here are what the icon series looks like: https://www.google.com/search?q=starbucks+city+mug...

b) You toss AT LEAST one tail.
Would both the questions have different answers since it looks like it's worded differently?
Could you answer the questions?
2 AnswersMathematics9 years agoPermutation/combination questions?
You have time to see at most 3 movies at a theatre showing 8 movies. In how many ways can you choose the movies?
Okay, my question about the problem is, when you try to solve this problem, why you have 8C3 + 8C2 + 8C1 + 8C0? Why not just 8C3?
Also explain for these problems:
Six cards are drawn for a standard deck of playing cards (52 cards total). Find the number of ways to get exactly three pairs of any three different types of cards (for example, 2 sevens, 2 fives, 2 queens)
13C1 x 4C2 x 12C1 x 4C2 x 11C1 x 4C2 (this one is the same concept, but instead of adding, there is multiplication, but why? )
and
A pizza comes with a choice of 6 different toppings. You have decided that you must have at least 5 of these toppings. In how many ways can you choose these toppings?
6C5 + 6C6

3 AnswersMathematics9 years agoFinding "P" when graphing parabolas?
I don't understand how you find "p" when you're trying to graph parabolas.
For example, if the equation is y=(1/8)x^2, you do (1/4)p =(1/8), and somehow p is supposed to equal 2. But why??
Also, y^2= -12x, (1/4)p=1/12, and somehow p=3...
Can you please explain why? Thanks
