Stupidly, I let my mother give me skin care advice. I have acne scars on my face and I wanted a product that would make them fade. My mother gave me some serum which she said would help to fade the scars. Little did I know that it was actually skin bleaching serum, and since I am African-American, the results were disastrous. My face is now lighter than my neck, and it looks like I have a "makeup mask". Will my skin ever regain its normal pigmentation? Also, do you happen to know of any acne scar fading products that WON'T bleach my entire face? Thanks!

Ok, so the last time I got a perm was in September, although I did get a touch up (just the roots) earlier this month...

The thing is, when I was my hair myself, I LOVE the way it looks when it is wet because it has a nice curl to it, and it just looks nice. But, when I let my hair air dry, it looks HORRIBLE and tangled and just messy!! and DRY! So my question is, is there any way for me to to style my hair in a way that will keep it looking the way it does when it's wet? I think my last touch up may be responsible for the way some of the ends look when they airdry...

I always hear people panicking over them but I don't understand why theyre so horrible. Ive had dandruff before, but never lice. Just tell me why people start freacking out about them. Ok so have any of you had perms before? Well, I know that the chemicals burn and scratching your scalp makes everything worse. My scalp is ALWAYS itchy. About how many days in advance do you have to stop scratching your hair so it wont burn? I scratched monday tuesday and wednesday but not today and I have a hair appointment tomorrow. Should I get a perm(I havent gotten one since September) or just get the deep conditioner and blow dry?

On Tuesday, I did number 2 (sorry I know its TMI). Anyways, I was wiping my butt(lol sorry again) and idk maybe I was wiping too hard, but IDK. So there was bright red blood on the tissue. Also, my stomach had been hurting a little. So, on Wednesday, I didn't get any blood. Thursday, I pooped again(hehehe) and I got more blood. Idk maybe I was still wiping too hard, but maybe it was my period. Wednesday, my lower back and bellybutton area were hurting, but I ran the day before. Also, where does the blood come ourt during your period?

I'm thirteen and my hormones are kicking in. Last year, I had really bad acne and I, stupidly, popped my zits. This year, I started using proactiv which cleared up my zits, but now, there are little dark spots all over my face. Will a certain type of makeup or medication heal them or cover them up well? Also, there's the problem of facial hair; besides shaving and waxing what else can I do to get rid of it? And don't say bleach it because I'm black.

So this year, I started basketball. I'm thirteen and I haven't ever played in a real game. At practices, I learned lots of things, and I did well during scrimmages. But, little did I know that we weren't using all the rules. Last night when I played my first game, I had NO clue what I was doing or where I was supposed to be on the court. Also, I kept getting fouls and I had no clue what they were for, so I kept doing them over again. We won, but I still went home and cried(lol im such a baby.) One of my really good friends likes tis guy. This guy is really mean to me and I don't like him. It all started last year. He told me and my OTHER friend that he liked our friend and wanted to ask her out. My other friend believed it, but i was ansy. This guy is always a jerk and he would never say anything that romantic, but, we decided to tell our friend anyways. After that, they had all of these romantic conversations on AIM and she started to like him. All the while, I thought everything was fake. Then, all of his friends started saying that he only asked out my friend as a bet. THAT story I believed. Remember, they were never going out, just talking. So, I told her about the bet and she became upset. Over the summer, he told her that it wasn't a bet, and they ended up going out for the first time. By this point, the boy doesn't like me because I'm trying to convince her that the whole thing is fake. I even told the boy that I knew about the bet and he asked me how I found out, meaning it was true. Sorry, i know this is getting hard to follow. Anyways, they broke up soon after, even though they both still liked each other. One day on AIM, I IMed the boy, saying "Hi." Do you know what he said in response? FU. That was not the first time he was mean to me. I told my friend who likes him and she didn't have much to say about that. Don't you think that if she was a good freiend to me, she'd stop liking this guy? She's always trying to convince me that he's a good guy, but he's NOT. The other day, she wanted to ask him out again I I got upset. I told her"the day a girl chooses a boy over a friend is a sad one." She got angry and we got in a fight. I sent her an email saying sorry, and I told her that I didn't want to be informed of their relationship if they do go out. We're friends again, but today online, she told me that she asked the boy out. Again, I was mad,but I don't want to get in another fight. But if I don't express my anger, she'll keep informing me of their relationship. What should I do?

Everyone says that you must be 100 pounds to get your period. But my friend is like 70 pounds (we're in eighth grade) and she got hers. But she did lose a lot of weight from dancing, so maybe she used to weigh more. But still-she's SO skinny. And my other friend seems skinnier than me but a little taller and she has hers. I'm 13 and I weigh 90 and I'm 5'3/4. I also have had the discharge for a while. You might say that I'm underweight for my age, but I'm really not and if I gained 10 pounds i'd be fat.
