In 1982 I started raising fish and trading them to a local pet store for supplies. I started with 1 10 gallon tank and 2 bags of marbles an a net and food. When I stopped in 89 I had 11 10 gallon tanks complete hoods and filters on each and 1 complete 40 gallon set up and 1 20 gallon set up and none cost any money out of my pocket. We moved to a smaller house in 1989 and my tanks took up too much room according to my mate who never liked them.. .

  • What can I use on my dogs bad breath.?

He is a 10 year old peekapoo. After sleeping his breath is really bad. Can Hydrogen peroxide be sprayed into his mouth to kill the bacteria. If not what can I use. He is loving and likes to lick my face so I have a big problem. I love my little man (His legs are so short. My best friend.)

  • Reason. Is a sump the same as a wet @ dry system as I had.?

I am not familiar with a sump set up. I haven't had salt tanks in about 15 years. So I am behind on the technology..

  • Why cant we do this today.?

    Fish

According to archeological evidence, the Sumerians were the first culture to keep fish almost 4000 years ago. The Egyptians and the Romans kept fish tanks, but only for a supply of food. The Chinese were the first to breed fish for ornamental purposes and routinely raised carp for use in pools and ponds. A most popular fish, the goldfish, was introduced in England during the 1600's and quickly spread across Europe. It wasn't until the 1950"s in America that fish keeping became a widespread hobby, during which time the goldfish bowl made its debut. Today, with sophisticated aquarium equipment and hardy fish varieties, it's much easier to enjoy fish as pets.

Why dont we do today the same thing that has worked for 4,000 years
