i only listen to male singers, and i want some variety. i listen to pop music--like dashboard confessional, jacks mannequin, anderlin, forever the sickest kids, etc...is there any female singers that sound kinda like that?? thankss :)

im really shy, and i want to be able to make friends, but i never know what to say. any social people recall how they started a convo?

there is this guy that im totally in love with, and im not sure if he likes me back. he gives me a lot of mixed signals, so help me if you can

i have known this guy for about 2 years, and i just started talkin 2 him this year. his locker was right by mine and me and my friend would talk to him all the time. at first he didn't seem to like me, but he told me he only hated my friend, not me (which i could understand cause she was mean to him). He made fun of me a lot when we were at our lockers, but somehow i could tell he was kidding. he would try to get me to think he hated me, but everyone said he totally had a thing for me, but i wasn't sure. I tried to make things right with him and started being overly nice to him. he treated me normally after this, he started being nicer to me. he started making inside jokes with me, and we had a lot of fun together, but he still tried to make fun of me at times. one day he drew a picture of me and gave it to me. he is a really good artist, and it was beautiful. he told me that it was a horrible drawing and tried to take it from me and tried to throw it away. i told him i loved it and wanted to keep it. weeks past and he was neutral toward me. then the last week of school came and we got our yearbooks. he took mine from me and went to his desk. he took up a whole page, telling me i was amazingly cool and creative and he hoped i had a great summer. he had my yearbook for like 10 minutes, drawing pictures and stuff. my friend saw this and totally thought he was into me, so she told him he should ask me out. i was mad that she did this. i walked into the room right as she was talkin to him. he saw me and totally blushed and said ill talk to you later to my friend. he blushed whenever he saw me the whole day and didn't talk to me. the next day, he didnt talk to me, and that was the last day of school. now its summer and i havent heard from him. btw: he is a really shy guy- if that helped.

I am 14 and i have only been out of school for a week or so, and I've gained 4 pounds in that time. now, i weigh 133 and i am 5'5". i am starting to look like im pregnant. i know the usual diet and exercise thing, but is there anything specific i should do?
