  • Hair color question for professionals?

I am a dark brunette. I get my hair colored a few times a year and I like being a brunette. HOWEVER, every time I go, my hair ends up being almost black. I hate it and am starting to think I am going to dye my hair with OTC stuff. I always go in with multiple pictures, dark, rich brown but tell them I do NOT want black hair. The last time, I finally called the stylist back. She put a few highlights in my hair, which I normally do not do. After a few weeks it was manageable, but still that underneath color is too dark. I am getting so discouraged! I go to good, reputable salons, pay usually close to or over $100. Can anyone color my hair correctly?

  • Question about baby's blankie?

My 15 month old son chews on his blanket. He never took a pacifier or anything, just the blankie. The problem is he only likes this one particular blanket and even though I wash it numerous times during the week, it is really starting to get smelly where he chews on it. How can I get rid of the odor? I am worried about using any harsh chemicals due to the fact he always has it in his mouth! Thanks for any advice!

  • Question about organic milk?

My son is 13 months old and he drinks organic whole milk. I just noticed there is no Vitamin D in it. Has anyone else noticed this? I checked online and the ultra pasteurized does not contain Vitamin D but the pasteurized does. I haven't been able to find anything but ultra pasteurized in our area. Do you still think it is ok? My son does spend adequate time outdoors and eats a very balanced diet, so not sure if he can receive enough Vitamin D through other sources than milk? Thanks!

  • Has anyone delayed the MMR shot for their child?

I am just curious if anyone has delayed the MMR shot for their child? What was your reasoning and was your pediatrician ok with it? We are thinking of doing this for our son. Please, do not respond with if vaccines are right or wrong. That is another debate.
