I've always considered an underdog story, something that is impossible to happen a Deus Ex Machina. If an event is impossible but somehow it happens, such as the Rocky films or the 1969 Met's and other examples like that, people would consider those events to be miracles.

A lot of people would say a miracle is an act of God. So technically couldn't a miracle be a Deus Ex Machina? I mean, a Deus Ex Machina is when something unexplainable changes the plot, something happen that wasn't suppose to happen. Isn't that the same as a miracle?

I just have been living always thinking that a true underdog story is a Deus Ex Machina. You can't explain really how or why something was made possible but it was. It was like an act of a god.

I don't know, I'm just really confused in my head and would love to get some other people's input on my thinking.

Pretty much what the question states, I'm doing a homework assignment that makes me check these stats on a specific date (4/23/2010) and I've been trying to figure out on websites how to just look at these stats on this specific date but am not having any luck and need to get this done.

I have 1,999 files that contain 1 string of data. They have no file extension though. I was looking for software or some type of way to import all 1999 files into one excel spreadsheet. I've tried some software online but didn't work.

I am currently starting my Web Consulting business which I have been operating but I am now going to turn it into a real business. I am currently wondering what exactly I need. I was thinking an LLC to protect me and also to have creditability, but I am curious about Taxes and what exactly I have to document. How do sales online work as well, because I'm under the impression that there are limited taxes online. I am also wondering about which kind of liability forms I would need as I do no want to be taken to court or come into legal problems if possible.

I was also looking alittle bit and see LLC's can be expensive, is an LLC the best route to start off at or what? Should I consult a lawyer, or just do more research?

If anyone could help me with this it would be greatly appreciated.

I eat about a daily diet of 3000-4000 Calories a day. Yesterday my throat closed up with an infection so I went to the doctor and got on antibiotics and had a shot and was told to only eat cold liquids. I've had some smoothies and slim fast kind of stuff, but now I'm stumped. It's been a day, and right now its lunch and I am starving.

I'm just not really sure what to eat. I can't live off smoothies and meal drinks, does anyone know any suggestions to what type of food or what I can eat? I am not suppose to eat any solid foods.

We've had this kitten for about 1-2 months now, and the kitten is great. There is only one problem though, we started off playing with the kitten a lot, so all it ever wants to do is play. Like literally, All it does all day is nibble on your toes or trys to play with you all day. Its starting to hurt because it's growing up and not realizing that its teeth and nails are starting to hurt. If it lays by you and you start to pet it for awhile, after awhile it thinks your playing and just goes crazy and just wont leave you alone because all it wants to do is play. Its like a cat with ADD, and needs adderal. It's getting really annoying because that cat wont just chill and lay with you unless its exhausted and about to go to sleep. Not to mention its really starting to hurt. We are going to get it declawed soon, but still it needs to learn how to calm down and just be chill..

I was thinking of getting Icemat(steelseries) Siberia Headphones the ones that go around your ears for snowboarding. Not only do they have a good style, they have great sound quality. I'm really not a fan of skull candy whatsoever.. Do you think these will be good for snowboarding?
