Looking at the mos 0231 USMC. Was wondering what the security clearance process is going to require, poly, interview, what does it entail?

My family is not that finically stable but we could handle college, or I could just enlist now save up and go later with more money and exp. I don't know either one I'd be happy to do. Any thoughts would be appreciated

What is the differences between a MD and a PA.

As a Ranger in the 75th Ranger Regiment with a mos as a PA will I be going outside the wire? Or will I just be chilling in the Aid station? Nothing wrong with staying in the aid station but I'd rather have a more active patrolling combat medic proffession. Is the Ranger PA what I'm looking for?

If i recieve a ROTC commission, serve 4 years active duty and 2 years IRR then am processed out, can i Enlist in the Army? Or would i just come back as an officer?

I know that 2nd LTs are the Junior officers and they are the newly commissioned officers. Say i graduate from ROTC then graduate from Ranger school, is there the POSSIBILITY that i could be accepted into a Ranger Batt. as a 2nd LT after Ranger School and my BOLC III?

Any suggestions for getting preped for SFAS and all that stuff. Physically im setting myself up a training routine, lifting, running, pushups ( like crazy) , situps , pullups, more weights, marching with a bunch of stuff in my "ruck", anything for Mental prep? just really looking for more Info about any part of SFAS and any part of Becoming a Green Beret.

I know that they try to get people to join to meet their quotas, im 17 and want to go to college and be an officer, i talked to a requiter and he said that i should go to basic this summer ait next summer and rotc after that. Is this a good idea? faults? benifits? i sort of agree with him it gives me a bit of experience of the other side. So any thoughts?

Ive been thinking and i had some questions if i go to BCT this summer when im 17, AIT next summer, and then become a Reservist or National Guard, but then attend Norwich University is it possible for me to be deployed before i graduate from Norwich. Or will i be exempt until i graduate? Anyone know anything about this?

I need to get up to about 100 push ups and 100 situps in around 2 minutes, any suggestions on how to get to that from doing 25 pushups and 50 situps? Any work out plans? Scheduals? all help is much appreciated.

So you attend RASP for eight weeks, and if you are passed you are sent to a ranger batt for six to twelve months and then after the six to twelve months you are then sent off to go to Ranger School?

What other military colleges are there like Norwich that do not require you to be commissioned into the army after wards are there? I do intend on joining the Army i just do not wish to serve as an officer.

If you are a Commission Officer what training do you go through? I know that when you are an ensign you go through speciality training. Do officers go throught that as well? I would like to be an 18D Special Forces Medical Sergeant. How do i get there from being a 2nd Lt. just commissioned. I intend to attend Ranger School and then Serve in the Infantry. Hope fully a Grad from West Point. I guess im asking about what schools would be open to me and when i would be able to attend them. I know that i will be able to attend Ranger school after college, but im wondering when i would be able to attend some sort of army medical program and if officers attend any programs out of college before being assigned to a unit.
