4 AnswersDecorating & Remodeling9 years agoThings to mix into your dogs dry food to boost its health?
I've heard that people mix different kinds of foods into their dogs food to keep them healthy. What do you add?
Here are some things that I've heard.
Carrots
Blueberries
Apples
Peas
Boiled egg whites
Fish Oil
Are these okay?
Also, how often is it safe to add these things into your dogs diet? I like the sound of Peas, carrots, apples, blueberries. A little of only one of these everyday added? How much for a full grown? Puppy?
I'm soon getting a labrador retriever.
What age is good to start adding these things?

I've always seen people just saying seasons, but I was wondering, is there a specific month? Or is it different for every lab? What month does your lab shed?
6 AnswersDogs9 years agoI've always had weird period patterns, is this normal?
It's so weird, sometimes it will be a month, then six weeks, then 2 months before I have my next period. I've had no sex whatsoever, I mean my boyfriend and I hardly even hold hands at the most. My moms cousin had her period once a year, which is the weirdest thing I've ever heard, it was extremely hard for her to get pregnant.
Anyways, do you guys have any idea why my periods are not the same amount of time apart from each other like everyone elses. Thanks!
5 AnswersWomen's Health9 years agoWhat age can I take my lab pup outside?
Heres the thing, people say not until 16 weeks (after shots), but I need to potty train the poor thing! I had a poodle puppy about two years ago that got parvo and was killed :'( BUT he only had access to my front yard. Is it okay to take my lab puppy to my BACKyard just too pee/poo quickly? or too much of a risk? I do have another lab about 10 years old that goes in the backyard once and a while, but hes perfectly healthy. I have a lot of space in my house but to keep a puppy indoors for four months just doesn't sound right. What about walks? None of those either? Is Petsmart okay for my puppy to go in, or too much risk? Sorry for being such a worry wart but my poodles death just left me devistated and paranoid. Lol
getting it at 8 weeks btw. :)

Just some advice on what you have bought/read. I'm getting a lab puppy soon and I want him to be stimulated with lots of cool tricks. Maybe even enter the school talent show with him. :) I can access Petsmart, Walmart, Target, Barns&Noble (though that one is 2 hrs away)
2 AnswersDogs9 years agoWhat age can you expect a puppy to be fully house trained if taught well early on?
Getting a black lab puppy soon and I know I shouldn't expect much from it early on, what age can pups usually be fully trained (with the occasional accident) I read that for every month is an hour a pup can hold its pee/poop. Ex. 2 months old - 2 hours. Is this true? If not what is the truth of the times?
