3 AnswersNon-Alcoholic Drinks6 years agoIs it our fault for the car accident?
Yesterday, April 17, 2014.
My mom and I were going to the store to buy a gas can for our portable stove.
It was raining outside but not raining cats and dogs. It is like a sprinkle I think.
My mom wasn't driving fast and also kept her speed under the speeding limit because other drivers always pass us.
Anyway, we saw a red light and my mom decide to slow down, but the car didn't slow down instead it skid right at the back of the driver car. We were like 3-4 cars distance from them then we crashed.
Our front car got broken left lights and bumper is broken while their car only got a dent on their back bumper.
The lady in the car that we crash into asked my mom for the car insurance and her driver license. She gave it to her and walk with the lady to the car to know what happen.
I was busy calling my dad, and he didn't pick up the phone yet.
Later, there was another car that spun out of control and almost crash into that car, but luckily he didn't then he get to leave.
There was no police involve, so we pretty much trade information. The lady gave us her full name on a piece of paper along with her cell phone number I believe.
Finally, we all drove away while we decide to go back home rather going to the store.
Now, my question is that. Is it our fault?
I know by law at default if you crashed into someone back of the car. You are responsible, but I don't know if these type of accidents would be "acceptable" that both side weren't at fault
8 AnswersSafety7 years agoCan you take a picture of someone who is destroying the apartment property?
Okay, there are bunch of kids who keep messing with the automatic gate.
It usually ends up breaking it which it'll cost the manager to pay a lot of money.
Question is it okay for me or someone to take a picture of someone who is process of destroying the property then gave it to the manager to punish them?
Not only that, I believe our apartment bills are sort of rising slightly due to broken property.
I mean if I do that I felt sort of like a pedophile/stalker/creeper doing it.
3 AnswersLaw & Ethics7 years agoCan the store owner take your stuff back after you pay for it?
Okay, let me explain the situation.
My mom and I decide to go to Saigon to buy a chicken broth to make a Hot & Sour Soup.
http://www.yelp.com/biz/cho-saigon-new-market-arli...
https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&authuser=0&sit...
We went to chicken broth section, grab 6 cans, place those in the basket and was about to go to the cashier until my mom met one of her old friend that she hasn't talked in a long time, so she gave me 3 bucks to pay for it while she is talking to her friend. I went to the cashier, gave her the money then grab the stuff and walk back to where my mom was it.
After few minutes later, an unidentified woman came up to me and ask for my bag that we just bought, and I was confuse about it. All I could hear from her was "go home" while trying to take my bag. Then the cashier wave me over to her, so I decide to go over there until she grab my bag then place it next to her and told me to go home.
Again, I was confuse, so I went to my mom to notify her about the cashier took the bags back. She yelled at the cashier to give our stuff that we paid for it back. Then they eventually did give our stuff that we bought. My mom was rambling about how stupid that shop owner was taking our stuff.
We decide not to go there again even though it has NEVER happen before because we've shop there for a long time for like 10 years.
Now, the question is this.
Can the shop owner has its own rights or policy to take the customer's belongings that they just bought from their store?
2 AnswersLaw & Ethics7 years agoIs it possible to use Nuclear Missile to fuel our Sun?
I'm quite curious about this, and I haven't found any answer nor question about it.
I was wondering, is it possible to build billions or trillions of Nuclear Missiles then fire at the Sun in order to fuel it to make it last long?
Is it possible to give the Sun extra energy to last longer?
15 AnswersAstronomy & Space7 years agoWhat is a good and healthy breakfast to make?
Okay, just to let you guys now.
I can't eat too many sweet breakfast like pop tarts because it makes my blood feel heavy I would say.
I can't eat cereals because my stomach can't handle milk in an early morning.
I also can't eat breakfast like a slice of bread/toast with strawberry w/e anymore because my tounge can't taste anything from it nor waffles and French stick toast.
I did made a scramble eggs with small sausage, and I am curious if there is any alternative good and healthy breakfast to make.
FYI, I am a freshman in community college.
6 AnswersCooking & Recipes8 years agoWhat happens if you close your new credit account?
Okay, on my first day of school in College, I got a mail from 1st Financial Bank. My dad told me they are pretty good, so I apply it if I want a credit card. I do want it, so I can build my good credit score.
I didn't read the interest rate, fees and etc and by the time I got the card (today) and it is register. I took a glance on it because it is on my table until I saw the APR and Annual Fees.
29.9% APR and $25 Annual Fees which I think it is high, so I decide to research it and a lot of people said to stay away from it.
Told me that I want to cancel it, but he told me don't worry about it.
So, back to the question, what happens if you close your new credit account?
Would it still impact my Credit Score?
If so, by how much and can I recover it?
By the way, reason why I apply it for it is that they are the only one who said I am accepted to the credit card because I made my first college checking account.
3 AnswersUnited States8 years agoWhat do you do with Financial Aid Refunds?
Okay, I am enrolling to a community college that has an inexpensive classes, and I am using the Pell Grants they (FAFSA) paid for my classes which it is fairly cheap.
I got a refund for 1 grandish, and I don't know what to do with it.
Should I spend a little of it to get a tablet to use an online textbook or save it up for next semester?
Even though my classes are extremely cheap.
2 AnswersFinancial Aid8 years agoIs it worth getting Skyrim Dawnguard?

I see a lot of bad reviews about it, but I can't really judge the game quite well so I need you guys to help me out.
What is so bad with Skyrim Dawnguard that makes people mad or something?
Whatever the case it is, is it worth grabbing or not?

4 AnswersLaptops & Notebooks8 years agoWhat would I do if someone bump the back of mom's car?
I had an exam and I exempt two of my classes, so I get to leave early and mom came to pick me up.
I got into the car, and my mom drove off couple yards down the school's street. She saw a girl student waiting to try to cross the road at the intersection, so my mom decide to slow down and stop to let her cross the street. However, when the girl was mid crossing the street, a car bump the back of my mom car. My mom got out the car and demanded what happen. I didn't have my glasses on, so I can't see clearly from the mirror. I can't get it out because I was freezing, so I stayed in the passenger seat.
My mom kept nagging me to come out to talk to the driver because my mom can't speak english properly. I know, I feel ashamed for not helping my mom to translate what she said, but I can help but feel embarrassed of trying to come out. I don't know if the teenager girls in the car are a students from my school.
Then the school police came and asked my mom what happen. She told the police that the driver hit the back of the car, and the police told her to pull over to the neighborhood street at the right to avoid the traffic congestion.
When we pulled over along with the driver and the police, my mom start talking to police and repeating same things over and over again. My mom demand me to come out and translate, but I keep telling her. It's probably a scratch, so we shouldn't make a big deal of out. However she ignore me and keep saying that I should come out and talk, so I finally got out of the car and start translating.
The police told me that the car is alright and only have one little bump at the back of the car near the licensed plate.
My mom insisted that she wanted the driver to pay for the "damage", but the police told her that it won't work because the damage is so little.
The police did offer she that he'll call the people (idk who it was again) to inspect the damage, but they will say the same thing that the car isn't a big problem and etc that I forgot.
I quickly went back to the car and didn't bother to look at the driver nor the people inside. << Afraid and nervous
Then my mom decided to asked the driver to apologize to her and want her to come outside and apologize to her directly.
Then we all left while my mom is all frustrated.
What do you guys think?
If I have this similar accident happen to me, what would I do?
I mean, I would judge the accident by the damage or the impact and if I see it's not a big deal. I would tell the driver it's nothing to worry about and ignored it.
What are your thoughts, guys?
Only thing that I don't get is why the driver didn't see my mom stop.

2 AnswersSkin Conditions8 years agoWhat should I do when my little brother keep sitting too close to the monitor?
My little brother keep ignoring us, myself and my parent, that we keep telling him not to sit too close to the monitor. By sitting I mean like putting his face too close to the monitor screen.
Of course, he's playing a game, so it'll be roughly couple of hours and also if you keep doing it. It'll make you blind, is that right?
2 AnswersMonitors8 years agoWhy did my pimples start to grow back?
Okay, 2-3 months ago my pimples start to diminish for the first in 5 years. I was about to put on my happy pants until a month later it grew back suddenly. I was shocked about it.

Does anyone have any ideas?

2 AnswersMen's Health8 years agoShould I get BO2 or MW3 for PC?
I am kind of debating if I should grab BO2 or MW3 for PC because I need a fast paced shooter game on my Steam.
What are the Pros and Cons about those two games?
Of course, I am asking the people who is a CoD's Fans and/or have experience on both of them.
Which of them has a good multiplayer, a lot of weapons and customization and balanced?
3 AnswersPC8 years agoShould I throw in a SSD and void my warranty or don't do it?
I got this bad boy, Lenovo IdeaPad Y580 however it comes with 750GB HDD.
I was thinking to throw in a SSD however it'll void my warranty unless I buy it from Lenovo's Website. Sadly, their SSD is quite expensive for 128GB SSD like 168 dollar or something like that, I mean I can find it under it.
What do you guys think?
Yes, I do heavy tasking such as gaming, programming, animations, and etc.
Not sure if it is worth taking a risk to void my warranty, buy an expensive SSD from their website or keep the regular old HDD.
