I've just downloaded Yahoo Im.

I was watching The Breakup (on USA I think) and Vince Vaughn let "GD" fly multiple times but when it came to other curse words they masked them. It seems that "GD" would be considered more offensive - especially to religious people. Why does the FCC allow this?

will it include major media outlets such as MSNBC, FOX, New York Times, CNN, TIME mag, etc. or will they just go after talk radio?

Why all of the "gotcha" questions about christianity and the Bible? Can people not believe what they believe without being persecuted for it?

Why can we say "GD" on TV and video games but not any other curse word?

Why is it perfectly ok to draw up cartoons like Family Guy and South Park that would offend christians but RARELY (if any) that offend muslims?

What's the matter - scared to offend a muslim? If it's "shock factor" and attention you want why don't you offend them instead?

Obviously my question is posed to expose the double standard. I guess I am going to see if anyone will at least admit to it.

It seems that there are more and more people like me that have a prejudice against police officers.

To me a police officer who has said at one time "I will make it my purpose in society to bust my tail in order to obtain some sort of authority to enforce over others."

Police are essential to social order and there are some out there for the right purposes, and I have NEVER had a run-in with police, but I still have that nagging problem with the profession - anyone agree?

I am thinking about taking up scuba - anyone have any knowledge about how much it costs to get started? Cost of lessons, equipment, licensing?

I am trying to prove a point that the government in Birmingham, Al will not let the city be anything else than a shrine of civil rights. It can be a lot more and makes me sad to think about it.

Does anyone else think that there has not been near enough actual fact-checking by the media in this election? There sure are a lot of allegations of suspicious ties and practices by Obama - and they have not been denied. The media has only insulted the allegations as being "preposterous".

So tired of this campaign stuff anyway - let's just get this over with.
