I will have some triop eggs by next friday hopefully and wanted to no if there are any non harmful to the triops. I was thinking maybe try putting food coloring in there food or on the eggs and seeing if it would change colors but, I don't know if its safe and I don't want to kill them. What else could I try?

I set up my fish tank and I want to do fishless cycling. I have nobody to get an established bacteria colonies. I was wondering if I could use water from are creek? The water is very clean I drunk some one didn't get sick from it. It comes from a lake with lots of healthy fish and down at the bottom of the creek is where the water is the cleanest which has lots of healthy minnows. Is it safe to use that water? What other tips do I need to cycle correctly?What are other ways to speed process?

They have a little yorkie mix named Charlie-they never spend time with him they let him go pee once in the morning about 6 a.m. then lock up all day and night in a small pet carrier until like 7p.m. let him go pee again get little food and water then locked up again-

I know he hates it so any time I can I go over and play with him he loves me he never try to bit me or anything-he hates strangers he bit his owner-they want to get rid of him now-they said I could take him-my parents won't let me have him-I take him on walks with me down the road and he is fine with other people down the road-even gets along with other pets-Questions:Why does he bit his owners and strangers?Why does he adore me? How can I talk my parents in to letting me have him?

It was only my Yo yo loachs. I have two catfish their just fine except for the ick and one albino pleko which is fine from what i can tell.My Yo yo loachs didn't have ick I know that.

My mom said she thinks it was from getting the new pleko (alge fish) but, we isolated him medicine and every thing. They never showed symptoms of being sick for two weeks. Then we left for a like two days came back and both my catfish had ick b/c they got stressed that the water temperature dropped so low (cus my mom lowed house temp b4 we left),they weren't being feed(couldnt get anyone to do it), and there light wasn't coming on. Next day after coming home power went out so the temperature dropped again. They kinda started to act different a day or so after that. I tried all medicines none worked we put stuff in for ph levels and other things like that.

Symptoms:

-Started hiding

-loss of appetite

-bleeding gills

-gasping for air

-rapid gill movement

-laying on side

-hid in unnormal spot (when they hid it usually same spot I can find them)

-loss in amount of energy

-damage red fins

-found them bloated may have bloated after death

-were sunk to bottom never floated to top one was dead way longer than other b/c i though it was alive in house it wasn't but never floated up

It died last night and didnt realize until tonight

I was told it floats once gasses build up it never floated

Tank:

-Is clean (cleaned today just in case it was contagions)

- 25 to 30 gallon tank

-medicined

Fish:

-had for a few months

-one new one was isolated and medicated

Okay my brothers iPod had full charge he turned it on then it turned off by itself. We have tried all the reset buttons. The computer won't register to charge when we hook it in. It won't come on at all and It was just fine day before. I've tried all the tricks to unlock,resets ,and all the other ways to get it to work it won't come on.

How do i get it to work?

I'm getting a fish i can't remember the name of it but its a something catfish it is freshwater only get 6" long it is white with black spots i have a tank for it and every thing but i need the name of the fish so i can look up more about it
