So heres the deal, I've been with my husband for 6 yrs, each and every year he goes on vacation for at least 5 days to 2 weeks. We don't have a lot of $, but he goes each and every year to somewhere. Meanwhile, our children & I stay home, and the last vacation we had was with him 6 yrs ago. He is the sole provider for our family and has been for the past 3 1/2 yrs, so in a way I do feel that he deserves some quiet time, but at the same time, I'm jealous of him and I feel like its an insult, that he feels like he is entitled to going somewhere each year. I am trying to look at things from a long term perspective, who's to say I won't have a marathon vacation spree when the kids are much older. But it still hurts, any advice?????

Just curious, anyone who wants to answer great. If you are in a long term relationship or marriage, please tell me how long you've been together and tell me some of the qualities that make your relationship work. I mean are you great friends, is there something you enjoy doing together, what helps hold it together after 10, 20 years. I know the obvious answers, trust and love, but what helps keep couples together

When I was little my step dad adopted me, he's the only father I've ever known. I've always known my biological dad's name, but not him. He only tried to contact me twice, through my mom, which made me mad. I can understand when I was a minor, but I was in my mid 20's when the first time and the second time, but I was mad at him, he didn't come to me. My mom knew that too. I always imagined I would get the chance to talk to him, he'd find me. He killed himself this month. I found out the day after the funeral, my mom knew, she waited to tell me until after the funeral. I went to his brother's house (I had only just learned all of his siblings names) he was very nice, he showed me pictures, talked to me, told me that my biological dad stayed away out of respect for the choices he made when I was a little girl. That he said "its better for the baby this way" I always thought he didn't care, he didn't want me. Now I am super confused, and hurt. Any advice is welcomed.

I have an emachine W3611 and a Cannon zr600. I have purchased the Firewire IEEE1394 to connect the two, but there isn't anywhere on the computer to connected it too. I have 2 USB ports, but I'm not sure what I need to get or what I should be doing?

talk about themselves like they are a gift to the world? Y'know, everyone watches me, guys are following me, blah blah. I get that it happens sometimes, but some women have to go on and on about it. So is it a security issue, especially if they are married and have to comment about other men watching them when they go here and there with their husbands. Why is it so annoying?

I am watching right now, I think Sawyer's biological father and Locke's father are the same guy. Interesting. Also he (father) says that the plane was found in the ocean and that they are in h*ll. Do you think that is what is going on?

I have a cd of harassing phone calls (long story), I want to know if there is ant software that can trancribe it for me as opposed to me listening to it for the millionth time. I am giving the prosecutor's office a copy of the cd, but I want to hand over a transcribed copy also. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

describe the most memorable time in your life, what yr was it, how old were you? Things you remember from then.

I have tried discussing the problem with the children's mother, she is hateful, mean and rude. She refuses to acknowledge that this harassment is an issue. She said kids will be kids. I have tried to get her to help resolve this, we both live on same block. She vehemently refuses to do anything, no matter how vicious and mean her child is being. I've had damage to my vehicle since this has happened, I can't prove it, but it's to coincidental. She states she wants an apologize because my daughter was over heard telling the teacher that her daughter is harassing her at home and school. The reason why she wants the apology is because I can't prove it is her daughter. Even when I have proof of something she ignores it. This is wearing me out. Is there any way to deal with this woman, I've tried dealing with her husband also, I don't get anywhere he just says "yeah" "Whatever". They stand out in the street in front of my house to bad mouth her, myself & husband. Kids are 10 yrs

my 10 yr old daughter, had been friends with 2 girls (9 & 10) last year. They both live within 3 houses on way and 2 houses another from us. One is in same class, another yr younger. I have had prank calls from 9 yr old for over a year now, I contacted her father told him, made it known that I have caller id, I know who is making calls, please have her stop. It does stop for a week or so. This past 2 weeks it has gotten worse, they've threatened my daughter at school, home and practice. I went to parents again...useless. Then I receive disgusting sexual messages on answering machine which were directed to my 10 yr old, the messages go on for about 5 min each. Contacted police, they are investigating have to have a trace, takes time, but the bullying still goes on. The mother is trying to intimidate me now too, I am over it, I have contacted school also, they are keeping an eye on situation, are very suprised because these two girls are well behaved. I have seen otherwise.

Who can always make you smile or laugh when you check out everyones answers either because their avatar is hilarious (jacko's) or just because they are funny? Can you tell I am bored?

To trudge: the slow, weary, depressing yet determined walk of a man who has nothing left in life except the impulse to simply soldier on.

Uhhh... were you robbed?

[laughs] Funny really, yes, but at the same time a huge resounding no. It's more of an... involuntary vow of poverty... really.

5. I am nothing special; just a common man with common thoughts, and I've led a common life. There are no monuments dedicated to me and my name will soon be forgotten. But in one respect I have succeeded as gloriously as anyone who's ever lived: I've loved another with all my heart and soul; and to me, this has always been enough.

My son was diagnosis and rec'd treatment for kd in january. We had 2 follow up ECHO & EKG, and the dr said he was in good health, we would have to do additional testing in one year. Then last night the dr office left a message on our machine telling us that the cardiologist are requesting an appt for our son. I have approx 1 hr before I can call and see what is going on, but I am so stressed out. I thought we were through this, that I wouldn't have to worry about the side effects of this disease anymore. My son is only 17 mo. old, and I don't know if we can handle much more. I am so scared. If anyone has had any experience with this please help me understand it. Thank you. PS Please don't degrade this by talking about motorcycles, I realize it has the same name, the jokes won't help. Thanks I appreciate your compassion, its a horrible disease.
