If God does not exist does that make the American Declaration of Independence invalid? It says:

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

If man does not have a Creator, man can not have been endowed with "Unalienable Rights". If this premiss is a lie, does it invalidate the whole document?

The don't necessarily believe the same things but do Atheists and Creationists have the same mental attitudes? You can present both with evidence and they will blindly ignore anything that doesn't match their ideas of reality.

When there is still poverty and people dying because of poverty, how can the Pope justify keeping hold of the Vatican and all it's riches?

The riches of the Vatican may not belong personally to the Pope but he has control over how it is used. The next time you look at Vatican or a painting in a chapel just think how many inocent children have died so the church can keep it.

I am Catholic and I am ashamed that the head of my church will allow suffering to happen when he has the power to help.

I see a lot of people quoting Richard Dawkins as proof for the stupidity of religion. What makes his opinion any better than anyone elses.

I see supposed Atheists making sweeping statements about Christianity that are obviously wrong. I don't mean that they don't believe in God. I just saw a statement that said the Catholic Church was afraid of Science. Others claim that Christians are only good because they are afraid of hell. When are they going to get their facts right before condemning people.

I keep seeing people posting comments about how intelligent Atheists are. I see the odd intelligent argument against God but most just reply with "Christians are brain washed", "I don't believe in God because it is stupid". Not the most intellectually stimulating points. Where are all these intelligent Atheists and can they please join in.
