I want to buy a crossbow, I'm willing to pay around £400. I want to know what would be the best crossbow for me. I am 6ft 2" and very strong, so I don't think It being too powerful is a worry. Can I get some reccomendations?

This is a purely hypothetical situation, that may involve me, someone else, or no-one atall.

I work at an animal sanctuary, with lots of horses in particular. I am comfortable around the horses, and competent in every aspect of their care.

I however do not ride horses, and do not own any, several of the workers do, however the majority do not. The few who do ride horses frequently ride with the manager of the animal sanctuary, during work hours, anyone who joins with horse riding experience, instantly becomes heightened in rank and importance than those who do not ride. Example - I have worked here for 2 years, I work very hard and consider myself to be good at my job. However, when someone with a horse joins, even though they have less overall experience with animals than me, within a week, they are best friends with the boss, know everything about the place, and are far more trusted than me. This has happened twice.

Is this workplace discrimination? That those who can ride get special treatment while those who can't aren't even trusted after putting thousands of hours of work in?

I work at an animal sanctuary with about 60 horses, and I have to groom them quite often. I want to know what the very best grooming kit is, one that looks really nice and fancy. Price isn't really an object. Either a premade grooming kit or a list of items that make the fanciest possible grooming kit please.

She is like this all the time, and I don't know what to do, because I still love her, she can be so nice when she wants to be, but she is ruining my life. She has convinced me everything is my fault, and I just want to die thanks to her.

I'm looking to buy an air rifle, for the purpose of hunting rabbits, pigeons and crows mainly. I want a PCP air rifle as I've heard they are the best

My budget is anywhere between £500-£1000. I am not set on a calibre, but I'd presumably go for .22.

I want a rifle with a synthetic stock, and a nice thick looking barrel, like a shrouded one, or else one where the barrel is not free-floating.

It needs to have multi-shot capability, preferably 8 or 12 shots, but anything more than 5 would be ok. I want the best there is. I'm quite a big strong bloke, so weight is not a factor, and I'd like something long barrelled. this is for hunting in the UK, and I don't have a Firearms certificate, so nothing over 12ftlbs.

PS. The internet has not been clear to me about this. I get a LOT of pheasants around here. Is a 12ftlb air rifle atall capable of taking one down with a good close range shot?

What is the best air rifle within this category, 22. caliber, Bolt action or semi auto, co2 or air canister, 12ft lbs power or as near as possible, black synthetic stock and coloring preferably. £600 budget, but preferably that includes a scope and an air pump so i don't have to buy more co2 canisters.

my cat brought me a big blackbird, i didnt wantto waste it so i plucked it beheaded etc. and wrapped it in tinfoil, chucked it on hot bonfire ashes. flavour? edibility? time to cook?

i made some cider, i put some apple juice, sugar and bread yeast in a big bottle and stuck a wine cork in it. that was 4 days ago. the yeast activity seems to have died down because the foam is gone, the sugar is gone, and it smells of alcohol. is it ready to drink, if not what should i do?

ive heard about making homemade alcohol lots, i can get, but id rather make my own. i heard that it could go up to 14%. how do you do this? i make hard cider by leaving apple juice too long, but looking for something stronger.
