Where's all the good musicians of this generation like Frank Zappa?
Frank Zappa is my hero. He is the reason why I decided to go to school and major in music. Are there any other musical geniuses like him in the world today that I may not know about?
3 AnswersJazz8 years agoFor a religion to be correct, wouldn't it have to be known to all of 'god's' creation?
Before I start, no I am not Christian OR hold any other religion.
Now,
If Christianity (or any religion, just using Christianity as an example since it is most popular on here) is really true, wouldn't it have to be known to ALL of his creation that he is the true god? When I say all of his creation, I am not JUST talking about the people on earth, I am talking about creation on ALL of the planets.
For a religion to be correct, wouldn't it make sense for their to be a Christianity (under a different name of course) in every other planet out there? "God" couldn't just chose Earth and set the rest of the universe to go to "Hell".
Hope this is clear as possible, it is kinda late where I am at and im a bit tired.
5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoHow to use somebody eles' artwork for your own purposes?
How do you use somebody's art work? Im just curious of what you what have to go through. There is this painting called "Titians Goblet" by Thomas Cole (1833, pretty old) and I was interested in maybe using it somewhere along the road for my band. Since I couldn't get the artists permission personally (since he is long dead), how would I go about that?
This is just out of curiosity. I know one of the bands that I listened to used a piece of his artwork.

2 AnswersJazz8 years agoWhy does everybody have to be convinced that they are 100% right when it comes to religion?
Why does everybody have to be convinced that they are 100% right when it comes to religion? I don't hold a religion, but I believe that there COULD be a god (and there may not. Nobody is 100% sure). Why does it bug (for example) Christians, that the world may NOT be only 6,000 years old, but much older? I don't understand why people cant look at things from an open mind. Yes, I understand you believe what your bible says, but why not look at things with an open mind? There are millions of religions out there, and each religion believes that their way is right. It annoys the hell out of me.

Does "god" what his followers to be non intellectuals?
Also, no, I am not an atheist or hold any religion for that matter.
