  • A prayer for forgiveness, How far it is true?

While I was reviewing various articles on forgiveness I came across this prayer for forgiveness by a priest (pujary) of a temple. I am shocked to note this prayer as indicated below:

Priests (Pujaries) may open their temple ceremonies with the following beloved invocation: O Lord, forgive three sins that are due to my human limitations: Thou art everywhere, but I worship you here; Thou art without form, but I worship you in these forms; Thou needest no praise, yet I offer you these prayers and salutations, Lord, forgive three sins that are due to my human limitations.

I will be very thankful if anyone could clarify this matter. How far it is true? No mockery please.

  • What is the plan of GOD for the salvation of mankind? And why God has to plan? How Jesus is savior for all?

God created everything before creating man, than God gave man authority over all creation that was created before, more over free will to man to be obedient (righteousness) or disobedient (Sinfulness) to God. God advised man very clearly that obedience will be appreciated and disobedience will be punished.

God never dishonor own words. Once God says/gives it happens. No turning back. Hence man got all the authority from GOD over all creation, and also free will to be obedient or disobedient.

When man disobeyed God, God has implemented the rule i.e., to punish man, at the same time God has great compassion and love for mankind and wanted to deliver the man from the punishment but without breaking the rule.

God never forgives the disobedience, forgiveness by GOD means breaking GOD’s own rule.

So God made another new rule without breaking the previous rule by incorporating deliverance trough substitute (savior) with this rule an obedient (righteous) man can bear the punishment of the disobedient (sinful) man. A savior has to be man but not from the seed of the man (with no janma paap) and not with the deeds (disobedience) of the man (with no karma paap).

Hence GOD sent Jesus the savior of mankind born to a virgin (no seed of man- no janma paap), and he was completely obedient (righteous – no karma paap) to God and pleased God till the end of his life on this earth.

So whoever (any religion) needs deliverance from the punishment of their sinfulness they have to just accept Jesus as Savior / redeemer.

That’s why Jesus said “I am the way, the truth and the life”. No one can enter into the kingdom of GOD except through me.

  • Is it correct Temples are closed during eclipse?

Because deities in temples which have been consecrated by mantras and rituals have an external energy field around the form which combined pull of the sun and moon during the can weaken during the eclipse.

The idols and sanctums will be covered by organic material like "grass, leaves of the neem or vila trees or raw silk shroud to prevent the natural aura from being destroyed", the seer from Coimbatore said.

Hence the temples are closed and prohibited for visiting during eclipse
