  • Dual or quad processor?

    I'm trying to decide whether to get a Toshiba satellite with a dual or a quad processor, they have pretty much the same.

    The dual one has 4gb / 500gb hd / 17.3 in = $629

    The quad one has 4gb / 320gb hd / 15.6 in = $600

    Both are AMD Phenom / Vision Premium processor, which one will be better for working with up to 6-9 Internet windows at the same time. I don't mind the hard drive size.

  • What's the best smartphone without a contract?

    Looking to get a smartphone without a contract, willing to pay probably $250-$290 for the handset and an average of $50-$60 per month for service including unlimited web browsing.

    There's this new Metro PCS phone that is the first LTE 4G for $60 a month everything unlimited, thus it is not a smartphone.

    Or will it be a good idea to get a MiFi for $40 a month and use it along with my Touch 4G?

    I don't really use my phone, probably will get the $25 plan from Virgin Mobile.
