One word very much describes me. Hyper. lol. Not really, most of the time, but not all of the time. I think I'm pretty easy to er, 'friend'. Not too easy to hate I might add. (^-^) I like to play piano, draw, write...stuff and also super random songs on guitar!, anything artsy, mostly is what I like. Grr, I love asian-ness, and Japan mostly, but no offence because everyone is a bear to hug. (That's a good thing.) yay! *hugs*
Recovering from anorexia, wondering if you eventually begin losing weight?
I've struggled with this problem on and off for 4 years now, but in November I was hospitalized for the first time. I went from a B.M.I of 23 to 17.5 in just under 4 months. I would say that throughout the duration of my eating disorder my average B.M.I was around 19.
I struggle with recovery mainly because of the initial weight gain, and it's understandable because my metabolism has slowed a lot and for a long time. I just want to know if it will ever go back to normal? Looking back at old pictures of myself I realized that I most likely had an incredibly fast metabolism as I was thin as a toothpick yet constantly ate anything I wanted (mind you, I was also very active).
tl;dr After 4 years of anorexia, will my metabolism stabilize back to how it was before I got this disease? (If I stick to my recovery)
29 AnswersOther - Diseases9 years agoEvery time I have to do an assignment for school, I can't.?
I procrastinate until the last day and even then I can't get myself to start. It's gotten so bad that I've pulled all-nighters just staring blankly at an empty word document.
It's not even like I don't know what to write, because I do. I just can't get myself to start typing it. And once I start writing, I somehow convince myself that something else is more important. (checking e-mails, eating something, once I cleaned my entire room.. etc.)
How do I break this bad habit?
*I'm actually avoiding an assignment right now...

2 AnswersOther - Electronics1 decade agoDoes learning classical guitar help with learning electric guitar?
I took regular, steel string, acoustic guitar classes, but once I realized I would mostly be playing chords, I switched to Classical guitar.
The thing is, I mostly want to learn the electric guitar. But since my parents don't like the electric, I thought I'd first learn to play the instrument, then buy myself an electric and play to my hearts content.
I just wanted to know if I'm wasting my time, pleasing my parents and learning the classical, nylon string guitar or if it might actually help me pull off those fast electric riffs.

1 AnswerWords & Wordplay1 decade agoMy Macbook Pro froze?
While I was working on an essay. Is there any way I can save it before restarting?
Basically, it's stuck on the screen saver, but the picture's not changing. The keyboard doesn't work, and I can't turn it off by pressing the power button.
I plugged it into the external hard drive, but I doubt it's going to save anything.
Any idea's? It would be much appreciated.
1 AnswerLaptops & Notebooks1 decade agoShould I get an iPhone 4?
I've read some pretty good reviews about the phone, but also some.. not so good ones. My dad's even gone to tell me that a lot of his co-workers and friends that have the phone say it has bad reception and other problems. Anyone here have it? Thoughts? Thanks in advance.
3 AnswersCell Phones & Plans1 decade agoWhat is a British slang word for "square" or boring person.?
I'm doing a monologue for drama. I'm speaking in a British accent, so I need to know how to call someone "such a square", or something along those lines. I'm pretty sure I heard a slang word for it.. but I can't quite remember.

I have a small dog. (West Highland White Terrier) Leaving him at home is out of the question, but we want to take a trip to the beach before summer ends.
1 AnswerDogs1 decade agoWhere to keep my puppy?
I just got a puppy 2 days ago. (West Highland White Terrier) He was born in April but wasn't adopted until now.
I was just wondering where I should keep him during the day. I play with him a lot outside, but when I come inside I don't know where to put him. I put up a gate in the kitchen to be his "area" since he still isn't potty trained and we have a lot of carpet. He also has his crate.
I'm also a bit worried about when school starts. He seems to be really attached to me and hates being in his area even when I'm just a foot away. Will he be able to handle being alone for 7 hours? (someone will be there during lunch to take him out and feed him, so more like 6 hours) How can I get him ready for that?
Thanks in advance! I've studied this puppy stuff for a whole year before I got him, but it's different when you have the real thing.
8 AnswersDogs1 decade agoWhat to do to my iPod? Needs repair or replacing.?
Here's the story. It all started when I decided to buy a glass water bottle (Stupid, I know). It seemed like a good idea at the time, anyway. I was carrying my iPod in a bag, and my water bottle in a different bag. Thinking I was so smart, I put the iPod bag into the bigger bag (with the water bottle) so that I wouldn't misplace anything. I then told my friends to guard my stuff while I went to the washroom.
Well, this glass water bottle sprung a leek when some unthoughtful person decided to kick my bag while walking. My friends' first reaction was to see if my books where alright, and then to go blow dry them. They then noticed my iPod and started blowdrying that as well. To see if their efforts went to any good they turned on my iPod. (They're not the most tech-smart people in the world >.>)
At first it worked fine. Then the touch screen wouldn't work. And now it won't even turn on. Lucky for me, the water sensor in the headphone jack didn't change colour. (Probably because the bag it was in soaked up most of the water, spilled) I'm just wondering where I would send my iPod now, since it's probably not under warranty anymore, but I need to get it fixed or replaced somehow.
1 AnswerMusic & Music Players1 decade agoShould I get a dog? Do you think I'm ready?
I've been planning on getting a dog since last summer. My family couldn't decide on a breed until about last week when we agree'd on the Bernese Mountain dog. I've read book after book and searched online about the requirements of having a dog and about the requirements of this certain breed. I've talked to breeders and people who work in Pet Shops.
But recently I've started to have doubts about weather I'll be able to handle such a big responsibility. I have perfectly set times to walk the dog (once in the morning 6:00am, once after school 2:30 and once more before bed 9:00). I'm lucky enough to live in a house with a 2 acre backyard, with a great area to build a dog run. My mum happens to be a health freak, and refuses to feed the dog store bought "junk food", so I visited a vet who lives close by (about a 5 minute walk) and he showed me what kind of stuff I could feed the dog instead. etc. etc.
I'm just looking for a dog owners input and any suggestions you have for a first timer, like me. Am I over thinking the whole situation? Or do I not have what it takes? I just don't want to neglect a poor animal if it can be avoided, but having this kind of companionship has been a dream of mine since I was 8.
Anything will be useful information and I'm open for criticism. So thank you, thank you, thank you, in advance.
9 AnswersDogs1 decade agoDSi camera album keeps freezing.?
I can still take pictures on my DSi, but whenever I want to view them in the "Album", it freezes. The touch screen won't work and neither will the buttons. So I can't scroll through the pictures or anything. I tried going on the Nintendo website but they don't have a section for something like this.
Something similar happens with FlipNotes, also. I can't draw anything on it, however I can go to the menu and select "draw, paint.. etc". The little icon on the bottom right is super enlarged, too.
1 AnswerOther - Games & Gear1 decade agoIf you own a school, are you the headmaster?
Let's say you owned a private school, would you be the headmaster or would you hire one? That being said, the headmaster is sort of like a principal, right? And if you aren't the headmaster.. what do you do? Just manage the money?
1 AnswerPrimary & Secondary Education1 decade agoAm I socially challenged or depressed?
These past few months (maybe even years) have been very hard for me in the social aspect. I usually feel very left out and ignored. And I am constantly self - criticizing. I seem to believe that I hate everything about myself. I'm suddenly becoming aware that I can't talk to people normally. It's difficult for me to keep up a normal conversation. I lose my appetite some days and binge eat on others. I feel frustrated to the point of tears at small things that set me back. (Like a small crack on my iPod screen that I never dropped.)
I'm a big believer in karma but I just can't figure out what I've done wrong to deserve such a hell. Am I over-reacting or is there really something wrong here? If there is something wrong, should I start seeing a therapist or something similar?
4 AnswersPsychology1 decade agoBest dog breed in your opinion and why?
I'm planning on getting a dog this Summer. Can't decide which breed to get, though. I'm not too focused on looks and size, however I can tell you I've already ruled out Chihuahua's, Poodle's and bulldogs. One important thing to mention is that it has to be a dog that can stay home alone for a while. (I have a really big fenced in yard, so leaving it out is an option.) And, it'd be a bonus if the dog was easily trainable. :D Thanks, can't wait to read your answers.

I'm making caramel, and I already used honey instead of corn syrup. I'm thinking that if I use honey again, the caramel will be too sweet, and the caramel might not come out firm enough.
1 AnswerCooking & Recipes1 decade agoWhich camera? (Pics included)?
I'm looking at both these camera's and can't decide which one is better. The TX5 has a lot more features, like being water-proof, shock-proof..etc. But the TX7 seems to have a much better video quality. (Is it just me that thinks that?) Which camera do you think I should buy? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. ;)

1 AnswerCameras1 decade agoWhat is "good" music?
I heard someone say "It's sad that most people will never know good music because they only listen to the radio". So, what is good music? I don't usually get my music from stuff I hear on the radio.. but I don't think what I listen to would be considered "good".
