I have a sense of humor(i can take a joke and play or tell one) i can fix damned near anything, im past my wild times,I am going to school to improve my career, i dont drink to excess (i only drink once or twice a month ), I actually have a future, ive had a job for over 20 years, im 5' 10 " 180 lbs, have no psychological problems, im not dragging any baggage ( kids are adults and we have great relationships) The break up with my ex was because she wanted to find her freak and im more traditional )

My 83 chevy PU died , i advanced ? the timing by turning the distributor about 1/4 of the way counter clockwise and it ran raggedly with little power .

I replaced the timing chain ( lined up the arrow on camshaft gear and dot on crankshaft gear ) I put it back together but it still runs ragged , i think im 180 degrees off and firing on # 8 instead of #1 . Can i just change the plug wires around to match the new timing or do i have to take it apart again ?

Both have small block engines , and the 83 pickup has the transmission from an 87 suburban in it now.

But it needs rebuilt or replaced ,

Are the bolt patterns the same on the 96 350 and the 83 350 for the bell housing ?

I have an emachines T3604 , converted to XP from Vista , and since sigmatel sold to dell they no longer make driver updates .

So i guess i need a new sound card , any recommendations?, i dont want or need the top of the line just a dependable one .
