Hi there, I'm at university right now, and I would like a TV in my room so I can play my PS3 and watch some DVDs. However, I have zero interest in Freeview, and most TVs have Freeview built in these days. And of course, having Freeview means you have to pay a TV licence, and I simply don't want to play £150 for something I won't even use. So is there a way that you can disable Freeview on a TV so I won't have to pay for a the TV licence?

I ordered a new copy of Mass Effect 2 for PS3 off Amazon.co.uk from a third party seller. However, the copy which I recieved had an expired DLC code, which I did not realise until I opened it. The DLC was advertised on the product page if I bought it new. Can i get a refund for it, since I did not get what was advertised?

Is Pokesav or Pokegen better for creating legit, Wifi battling Pokemon for Black/White? Which one do you use?

I recently had to send off my Wii to the Nintendo Repair service to get it all fixed up, because the disc drive was completely busted. Ok, simple problem, happens to a lot of people who have had their Wiis for a while (had mine for four years), so I sent it off to Dr. Mario to get it fixed, and a week and a bit later I got it back.

Ok, so I just plug in all of the cables and... Black screen. Ok, my component cable must be broken. Let’s try my composite cable and... Black screen. Take the scart adapter off my composite cable maybe? Black screen. F**k. They freaking sent me back my Wii, and they made it even worse.

So I called the Nintendo Support Team, they were really nice, and I just posted it back earlier today (with a lot of bubble wrap). All good. But I just want to ask people if anything like this has happened to them before? They said it was just a "one-off thing and it never happened before", but I just want to know if they were telling the truth. Everything that I have heard about them is very good, they even gave my friend a brand new DS for £20 when he spilt orange juice on it. Has anyone had any bad experiences with them?

I looked up on Smogon, and its page said it was NU, but it did not give any strategies for NU and went straight to RU.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of both of them?

I am interested in buying it, but I want to know which version is better. Is it possible to play the Wii version with a Gamecube controller? How much motion controls are there in the Wii version? Are they any different graphically?

My friend told me that Mario and Wario are brothers (which I completely doubt) Please don't just say yes or no, give quotations or links to websites to back your answer up. Thank you :)

If so, in which games?

I and my friends are having a giant argument on what to call the Star Fox game on the Nintendo 64 "Star Fox 64" or "Lylat Wars".

We live in the UK where it got first released as Lylat Wars, but only because of copyright issues in Europe due to a (bad) Atari 2600 game of the same name. It was released everywhere else as Star Fox 64, and the 3DS remake of the game was released as Star Fox 64 3D everywhere, including the UK.

So I ask you, am I right by calling the game by its intended name, or are they right by calling it by the name it only received due to copyright issues?

After four long years of service, my Wii has stopped reading discs completely. And I know it is not the lens being dirty because I have cleaned it with the official Wii Lens Cleaning Kit.

My Wii is obviously out of warranty now, and I need to know how much it costs to get it repaired, including postage and packaging. I live in London, and the Nintendo Repairs Centre is in Portsmouth.

If you can also tell me how long the repairs will take, that will also be great. Thanks :)

Very often, when I am on Yahoo it shows me that I have a e-mail in my Yahoo mail account, but when i click on it, I do not have any unopened mail in my inbox. Why is this and is there any way to stop it from happening?

Does Little Big Planet 2 have a online pass system, or am I safe to buy a used version of the game?

I brought pair off headphones from Amazon using the 'Amazon EU S.a.r.L.' seller (Amazon's own). It has been 4 months since I bought them, but now they have stopped working. I couldn't find anything on the website apart from the 30 day unopened items returns. Anyone know if I am eligable for a refund?
