I wanted to tell my sister of my pregnancy by doing the typical - dress up the first child (a girl in this case) in one of those "Big Sister" T-shirts. I am too chicken to just call her up and tell her, so I thought it would be a fun and cute idea. :) I was just wondering, where can I get one of them other than from some website? If they have them at Target or Baby Gap or other places like that, I wasn't able to find it online, the only ones I found online were from some.. random websites. And I really didn't want to just order one. No rude answers please, thanks!

We moved to a new town in Arizona about 3 months ago, my husband has been working at his job for.. almost three months. There is a huge chance (though I don't know yet for sure and can't test yet, still a little early) that I may be pregnant, but I don't have insurance. How long does it take for a full time employee to get insurance? And how long after you apply for it, does it kick in? I couldn't get a job transfer so for the time being I don't have a job, so that there says.. no insurance. Also.. I recieve child support from a previous marriage for my two year old daughter, so that, combined with my husband's income, we make too much for me to get State medical. If there is a site on the Arizona's medical about requirements for how much you can make before you don't apply, please let me know. Last time I applied they said I don't apply for it because of our income, that was a few months back though, so me not having a job now and my husband having a different job, it may be different.

Are there any alternatives to a normal OBGYN? I saw something about midwives being fairly inexpensive, but I would like to go to a normal OBGYN. I would feel much more comfortable about it, that's for sure. I just don't want to have to worry about paying hundreds of dollars in medical bills with having no insurance, or not being able to see a doctor at all because we can't afford it!! Please help! My period is due at the end of this week (28 cycle, though I am going off of what it used to be, it's now, on average, a 29-30 day cycle). It's due May 22, and because of the "activities" with my husband this month, TTC, I believe there is a BIG chance I could be pregnant, but am waiting until exactly a week after my expected period, due to my period being abnormal. (Starting Jan. 28, it was on time, 28 days, then Feb. it was 3 days late, 31 days, then March it was on time again, 28 days.. then again in April it was 3 days late, 31 days) So going by that, this period should be 28 days, though I know it wont be exact probably. My main question.. when is implantation bleeding suppose to occur? Being four days (not counting today, but counting the expected day of period) till my period, I don't think I will get it (haven't yet) so I just want to possibly rule that out as an early sign of getting pregnant.

I honestly don't think I am, but only because we've had so many negatives over the past couple months. I believe there is a much better chance this month than past months.. I think almost all month we've had sex every third day, and especially in the prime time of conception. Where as the last few months it's just been.. when ever we feel like it. Lol. So please help me out, I am a little impatient as to take a test, and know (according to what I read) I could now, but I want to be sure and completely miss my period before I test.

I wasn't going to use live fish in it, so no worries there, I just read a post about some guy wanting a fish bowl, and a bunch of other people were yapping on about how bowls are horrible for fish. If you keep them kept right, they can be in bowls.. I've had fish live for Years and years in bowls with no problems, just gotta keep it clean. :) Anywho... no live fish, I do Polymer clay creations, and for a gift for someone I was thinking of using the Giant Wine Glass and putting my Polymer clay fish in there. The thing is, I have found martini glasses and a couple others.. Brandy Snifters.. but no wine glasses.. and the people I would be making this for are BIG on wine, so it has to be a wine glass. Anyone know where I can find them?? And btw.. no say anything about the live fish in a bowl, that's just my experience with fish. I just want to know about the Wine Fish Bowl. :) Thank you!!

I was wondering.. first of all, is your second pregnancy suppose to be longer or shorter than your first one, and if that was an old wives tale or not. My husband and I were hoping to conceive next month, so we could at least TRY to have a March baby. (He's Irish and was hoping for a St. Patty's Day baby, lol, however it doesn't matter to me. :p) But it may be that I've gotten pregnant this month, which by all the calculators I've found may be the end of January or beginning of February baby. My first child was born in January, so was my step-father, so I am hoping if it's true, it's February. I'm just curious as to about when, if I am pregnant, the baby would be born, by MY calculations it'd be a mid-February baby. Thanks for your help! :D

I'm not talking the regular Barbie, I'm talking about Pregnant Barbie, I found lots of pictures of older version Barbies, and a story telling of why they pulled Barbie's friend, Midge, off the shelves because she was "too realistic," when she appeared pregnant with her second child. Lol. (I thought it was funny.) But I was thinking of giving them (the pregnant Barbie's, or Midge's.. whichever, or both) as Baby Shower gifts. But I didn't want to buy them off of E-Bay or some other site like that. Does any store sell them at all? Or do I have to specially order them online from some place. I haven't checked the Barbie site out yet, but doubt I would find it there anyway. And yes, you are more than welcome to steal my idea if you can find the Barbies. Hehe. I was also thinking of having it as a game.. have just one or two Barbies have the baby in them (I don't think they're different kinds, but I would get the ones with babies in them) and whoever has a baby wins a prize or something. :p I don't know. I just want to find them, someone help please!!

I was wondering if you can paint baked Polymer clay with Oil paints? Or would it be safe to add oil paint (for color) to the clay before it's baked, then bake it? Chances are I'll just paint the baked clay, but I don't have acrylic on hand, oil is what I use, always, so I was just wondering. Thanks for your help!!

I was thinking of ideas to tell my husband that we're expecting (though it's unkown right now, but good chances!) and I thought of making a clay baby (or two) and painting it/them. I was either going to make one and paint have the blanket it will be wrapped it (also made of clay) half blue and half pink, or I was going to make two, one blue and one pink.

Now, I am using Polymer Clay (the kind you find easily at Wal*Mart and have to bake) and I was wondering if it is safe to paint it with oil paints, or mix the oil paints in with the clay then bake it? I know I could paint with acrylic, but I'm not an acrylic painter, I use oils. So seeing as it is on hand, and arcylic would only be for this one thing, I just had to ask. Either way, I am making the baby/babies to use as a way to tell him. I just need to know if I can use my oil paints or not. Thanks!! :D

I was thinking of sending a family photo album. The whole album would be my family now, I have a 2 year old daughter from a previous marriage (which my mom just knew I was pregnant, so I never got to tell her), and am remarried now, so my family now, including my sister and her family, then at the end of the photo album, I would have an ultrasound picture, with of course an appropriate caption so as not to get confused with it being an old ultrasound of my niece or daughter. Lol. But seeing as by the time we get an ultrasound (hopefully if I am pregnant this time! :D) my mom will be in the process of moving so I was thinking an online slideshow photo album. That way I KNOW she'll get it. :p

Also, I was thinking of ways to tell my in-laws of the news. I myself couldn't tell them, and personally don't want to be there when they find out, but for support of my husband I will be. We can't just come out and say it to them, they'll think we are pulling their chain. My husband cracks jokes about it all the time, and the closest to a actual thinking we are pregnant was, "Better not be." Most the time he gets a "Yeah right, smart ***," from his father. So I thought it would be nice to have some actual proof (other than the BFP on the HPT) to show them so they do believe us.

I am worried about how they'll react, because they think their son is a complete moron (he actually is not, and he is VERY responsible), and I don't want to be around when a huge argument erupts. I was thinking something with pictures (not on the computer this time, lol), and having his mom, the one least likely to freak out about her son having a child of his own, go through them for some reason, which I have not thought up of yet, and have the ultrasound picture (or two, she might pass it without realizing) tucked in with all the regular photos. Point being, I need a way to tell them, without speaking. They wont believe us if we were to actually say it, so .. a gift of some sort. Help me out with this one.

My husband and I haven't been TTC, but we haven't been preventing, so it could happen. But I was wondering, I have this pain on my right side of my uterus, I know it's my uterus (or at least that general area) because I get it when I am ovulating, but because my cycle is so off balance (it used to be 28 days, but it's fairly random now.. lately been right on time or three days late), I am not sure if that could be it, or it's something else. Okay, to help things out, maybe we are trying to conceive, but it's more like, if it happens, GREAT, if not, okay, life goes on just as it has. So can anyone help me out with this pain? I've had it all day, it feels slightly different from when I ovulate, that's what is making me question it. Please help, and no rude remarks, thank you!

So last month it turns out I am not pregnant, though I could have sworn I was sometimes. But this month (just the beginning of my cycle, which I found on Web MD is a 29 day cycle) we haven't been preventing pregnancy in anyway. I should be on day 13 (counting from the day my AF started) of my cycle, and we've had unprotected sex two times. According to Web MD, I am in the most fertile part of my cycle now.. starting two days ago, (5/5) and having sex yesterday (5/6), so I am guessing there is a huge possibility of me being pregnant. Now.. if I am, what should I tell my husband. This would be an unplanned pregnancy, but I know both of us would be ecstatic if it turns out I am pregnant.

But because it is unplanned, I am hoping he doesn't freak out and stress about it. I know, we should have been more careful, but I don't need rude remarks right now, I am just asking for advice. I know my husband better than any family member of mine, he'll stress out if I don't tell him, and explain to him in a very specific way. But with this situation, I don't honestly know what to say to him. It's MUCH too early to take a test, but I know my body really well, and with doing all the research that I do, the possibility of me being pregnant are very good. So right now it's unknown, but I'd like to have some idea of what to say if it does happen. Thank you, and please, no rude remarks.

I've noticed while answering and reading through a lot of these questions, people are very rude!! Now, I'm 21 and I had my first child when I was 18, I regret letting any man (especially that moron) put his penis anywhere near me, but I can't change the past. So to say, I'm not a 14 year old who is pretty much begging people to stop being rude. I'm a 21 year old saying... When a 14 year old asks what she should do after she's gotten pregnant, why be rude to her? She's asking because this country is stupid enough to not educate people properly before a certain age! So she had sex and got pregnant, telling her, "You shouldn't be pregnant, stop having sex, wear a condom! Blah blah blah" That isn't going to help her, she's already done the act, why tell her not to do what she's already done?

I might suggest telling her the options she has now. Now that she IS pregnant, tell her she can get an abortion (I am completely against abortion, but yes, that would be one of her choices and her decision), or she can put it up for adoption. She can also keep it, I wouldn't recommend it, but some people have had children at 14 and been able to take care of them just fine. I also know that in the newspaper there are tons of ads from family who can't have children, and to avoid the adoption process, which I heard can take years, you can get to know that family and possibly give your child to them.

Stop being rude and unproductive! I can't make you I know, but being 14 and pregnant, wouldn't you want someone to tell you what you can do now, not what you shouldn't have done? I know I would have wanted to hear.. "You can do this, or that." Instead of knowing I did something I shouldn't have and hearing, "You stupid little slut, stop having sex, wear a condom, ask your parents for birth control!"

Help out these kids who have done wrong! They don't always know any better! I never got the sex talk from school or my parents, or friends, or siblings, or aunts or uncles.. no one told me about it! I knew not to do it, but not everyone does. So please, for the scared kids out there who knew they did wrong, but were too stupid to realize after the fact, quit being rude and help them out! I've been asking questions all week it seems, and so far nothing has come up to tell me what's really doing on. This morning I wok up feeling REALLY dizzy. Been going on for almost an hour now, and still dizzy right now. I didn't get out of bed too quickly, I actually layed in bed for probably 20 minutes before actually getting up. I think it may just be dehydration, but it could be I'm pregnant. The chances of that are.. fairly low I think, but who knows, anything can happen. Reason I say it could be pregnancy is because my period is two days late (though that's not entirely abnormal for me), my breasts are tender, I have been feeling sick, oh gosh.. there are other symptoms that I am not currently experiencing, but have, and I'm a little more focused on my dizziness rather than pregnancy symptoms.

I have been drinking since I got up though, and the dizziness hasn't yet gone away. Because of my lack of period right now, and the few other things I am experiencing, I did take a pregnancy test, came of negative (with my first child it took 3 months before anyting came up on a Home Pregnancy test, so if I am pregnant, it may be the case again), so right now, I am guessing dizziness is just from dehydration. Could anyone help with this though? My last pregnancy I didn't get dizzy spells at all, so I'm a little bit confused. Thank you.

I was just wondering, I know sex has triggered it before for me, but not always. I've noticed my period has been more on schedule than it used to be (28 day cycle) but it's late now. I don't have any pregnancy signs really, tired, yes, lack of period, so far, boobs are sore, but! I know exactly what my body does when my period is around, and I am experiencing nothing for my period. I was a little paranoid I am pregnant, but I don't think that's it.

The main thing not normal I've noticed in my cervix, before my period it's low and super soft, now it's high and hard. Just wondering if in fact I'm not pregnant, there was a way to trigger my period, it's really annoying having at late like this, but I guess I am just abnormal, lol.

I check my cervix almost everyday, yes even during those messy times of the month, but, I wash my hands also, so don't freak out on me, lol. Reason I do this is because my husband and I aren't exactly good at preventing anything. We are, but sometimes we just get into the moment, so safety doesn't even come to mind until afterwards. Now I will say if I was pregnant, I think both of us would be ecstatic, but the timing would be off for us.

The changes I have noticed from my cervix are mainly when my period is about to start. I've noticed maybe a little less than a week before my period starts, my cervix gets very very soft, hangs low, and is very open. It stays that way until a day or two after my period is over. My period is due today, usually it starts early in the morning, so around now would be prime time, but usually around 6am, but so far nothing, and I have been checking my cervix, it's not its normal self.

As of today it's very hard, I can't even find the opening, and it's hanging about mid level. Normally with my period scheduled to start today, it wouldn't be like that all, especially the opening, it would be very wide open. So I was wondering, is that a possible sign of pregnancy? Or would I be better off to just wait if this period skips then take a test? Thank you!

It's not that I need to know what to do, it's that I don't know what it is called exactly. Funny enough, all my family is interested in this sort of career, but I am a little more specific in what I want to do. Game design is our calling (so far, three out of the four of my siblings and I), but I really want to get mainly into the character design.

Being the person that I am, I really do not want to go to school for something, then it end of being the wrong thing, or taking all these classes I don't even need for what I get into. Another thing, I don't want to go to school, learning all sorts of things having NOTHING to do with my career.

So my question is, for character design in video games, what would that be called? I have looked into it for years, but being young, never really deciding on anything for sure, and all I've found I keep thinking.. "Well, that sounds like it! But so does this, and wait.. that one also sounds like it, but I know they can't all be for this one job.. right?" So someone, please help me out! I am very serious about getting into this career now, I've been through divorce, custody battles, and a lot of rough times. Finally I'm stable enough to go to school and finish, then try to get my dream job, but I need help figuring out what to go to school for! Thank you! And please, don't be rude when answering..

Okay, here's how it goes, I have filed a Petition to Modify Child Custody, Parenting Time and Child Support (that is the exact title of the paperwork), it was February 17th when I filed it, so 21 days from then, the other party, my ex, was suppose to file and notify me of his filed paperwork. I filed because my current husband and I moved a little under 100 miles. The current visitation that my ex has with our daughter is impossible for both of us to work out living so far apart. That and even if we lived in the same town, I can't get a full time job to support my family.

Now, my ex filed March 11th in response.. withing his time limit, but I didn't get it until the 21st. The 21st was past his date of filing and informing me. Either way, if they take it due to him filing on time, the paperwork he filed isn't right, at all. Let me tell you what he filed, word for word.

The paper he got is a blank form. Of course like all paperwork, you fill out your information, Name, Address, Phone, who you are in the case, case number, and name of the other party. This page has a blank Title also. What he put for the title is (word for word remind you): Response to Petition Child Custody Modification, Health Expenses, Travel Expenses, and Mandatory Evaluations of Psychiatric & Substance Abuse Health. That was the EXACT title he put. Below that there are a few sentences to describe what the paper if for and how you can fill it out.

It says: (The section below must be written to explain your request - what you want the judge to order if he/she grants your request (or Motion). If the judge agrees with your request, he/she will sign the attached Order or issue a "minute entry" noting his/her decision.)

Now, I have called the court to see if they have set a court date, and they have not yet. I was told to call at the end of the week, so I will, but I wanted other people's opinions while I am going insane, lol. The paperwork he should have filed would be called.. What do I do now other than wait? I can't get a job in my new town until I can tell the employer when I can work. I don't want to have a schedule with work or his visitation jumping around like before. That was the most stressful thing I have gone through. I had to take extra days off work, or get off of work early, go into work late, and when something happened when my ex had visitation, and there was nothing I could do, he always made a huge deal about my husband now picking up Abby.

Not only this, but my ex doesn't want our daughter in daycare, and I can't afford to sit at home with her while my husband goes to work. He doesn't make enough money to keep us going like that for .. well, ever. I NEED to get a job to help support my family, so would the best thing be to wait until the end of the week to call?

What do you think the judge will do? I know you don't know the whole situation, but after hearing what I put in my correct papers, and what he put in his incorrect papers, I'm sure you'd have a better opinion on what was to happen. Please help!!

Having previously asked this question and gotten VERY rude answers, I am asking again, with more detail. The rude answers may have been due to my lack of information given, but personally, it's my life and I don't need any rude remarks left here and there to ruin it.

So in hopes of getting better and much more informative than rude, answers, here is my full question. I filed paperwork last Monday, this paperwork was to change visitation because my husband now, and I, are moving. This move will be 94.5 miles away from our current address, so well within the limits before I would have to file a petition to move. Because of his (my ex's) visitation with our daughter now.. Tuesdays 4pm-8pm, Fridays on weekends he doesn't keep her the weekend 2pm-7pm, and Fridays on weekends he does keep her, 3pm until Sunday 7pm, there is NO way either of us will be able to drive back and forth all these times. Waste of gas, money, and time.

I filed the paperwork to change visitation from the first Saturday of each month till the Second Saturday of each month. A total of 8 days out of every month, but by the hours I put in, he will be getting more time with his daughter. This visitation will not cut into our work week (I have been unable to work full time due to what visitation is now), and neither of us will have to deal with one another as often.

Being so far away, he will either take my offer, or the court will give him every other weekend.. four days total in visitation for one month. So, before you all make me the bad person and say that isn't fair, try actually dealing with my situation, you aren't in his or my shoes. My ex is an alcoholic, smokes pot, has had to go to anger management, and even with him and I being divorced, he is still telling me I should stay home to take care of our daughter, should not be now married, or I should be going to school. He claims I am unfit, though he knows nothing of how I care for her.

My actual question was regarding the paperwork. That was all. After I have had someone served, which the courts used to do for me, but they haven't told me that I now have to do that, do I wait it out or do I have to inform the court that I have served my ex the paperwork? It's been almost two weeks since I have filed, nothing in the mail for a court date, I did get the Sheriff to serve him the papers, but now what do I do? Do I wait, or do I have to give my proof to the court saying I served him? Please, no rude answers..

I'm barely into the child custody and divorce court stuff. Knowing very little about it is what I mean. Divorced almost a year ago and with my ex I have a 2 year old daughter. Last Monday I filed paperwork to change visitation because we are moving almost 100 miles away from where we are living now. It's just under, so I don't have to worry about Petitioning to move. Anyway.. the court system here is lacking in being informative about anything. I have filed things in the past and they have automatically been served to my ex without me having to lift a finger. So, this time, not knowing they just stopped doing that, or what happened to them doing it, I was not informed that I am the one who has to serve him the papers.

They didn't say anything to me to two-three times I went into the court and asked what papers, to actually file, and just to ask questions, nothing was told to me about me having to take action this time. So, we did finally take care of that after having not gotten any papers from the court for a court date, I called and asked, they told, and my husband now went down to take of getting the papers served. I know I have gone into way too much detail, but here is the end. After having gotten my ex served, what do I do now? Can I wait around until I get papers in the mail or do I have to file more papers to the court saying I have had him served?

I don't want to have moved and still have this visitation (which being as far away from where he lives and where we will be living, will NOT work. I just want to go to court and have everything taken care of. Knowing my ex also, he hasn't filed anything in response yet, though I gave him the papers (a copy) the very day I filed them. Please help!! :)
