Ok so i have an Acer Aspire V5-571PG running windows 8.1, and the internet is painfully slow. This is weird, because my phone, and my brothers computer and sisters laptop which are all using the same wireless modem are fine. And the laptop itself is not slow, its just internet which is bad.

I have tried updating the driver upon advice from tech websites/forums, but that did nothing, and there are no Acer updates either,

It has been slow for months, and i have just dealt with it, but im getting really annoyed. webpages take forever to load, viewing images, epsecially on a page with more than 1 is ridiculous, and download speed is abysmal. Sometimes it seems fine, so one month it will have decent or good internet speed, but then it may be slow for 2 months

It was fine when i got it earlier this year, in about March or April, so it is far too young to just be getting old.

Any ideas? Im pretty desperate, because i need to use this for Uni work.

I have no idea why, but today i have suddenly started getting my facebook messages as texts on my 520. I dont think changed anything on the phone or my facebook account, but now my phone buzzes every single tie i get a message, and this has never happened before. they are not notifications, they are texts.

Anyone have any idea how to stop this?

I always see people who are asking for help on a mission in the general chat box. Often, i want to help , but i dont have the mission.

Im trying to gain weight. Im 16, Really skinny, quite tall. I Dont play sport but i exercise through walking a lot and jogging. I have an insanely fast metabolism. Like i eat huge meals at dinener and afternoon and gain no weight

For breakfast I Will start eating omelettes made from 2 eggs and cheese with Milk

Morning tea I will eat a wholemeal sandwhich, cracker and peice of fruit (Im not usually very hungry)

I often dont eat anything or much for lunch, if i do it would be small like an apple or something

When I get home I make 2 Grilled Cheese sandwhiches from wholemeal (im trying to eat as much wholemeal bread as possible for carbs) and a milo.

At dinner We usually have a meal involvong vegetables (Mashed potato, peas corn etc.

Sometimes After dinner I will have dessert, which is usually just toast but i was thining of switching to porridge.

Would this diet help me gain weight? I must admit Right now i never feel like brreakfast but i figure if i force myself to eat it for a few weeks i will get used to it, and this diet involves quite a bit more food than i would usually eat.

so im REALLY skinny and have started doing about 100 push ups a day. since im skinny will this do anything for my chest and arms? If not, what SHOULD i do for chest and arms (No gym access, just things i can do alone, though i do have dumbells)
