  • Do things change after an engagement?

I'm currently engaged and I feel like this should be an amazing point in our relationship but all I'm feeling in reality is a steady decline in our happiness. For sure in mine anyways. I feel like I'm starting to look too far into our future and I'm finding flaws constantly. I don't feel like he is responsible. I don't feel like he is supportive or attentive whatsoever. I'm not even planning a wedding yet and I feel nothing but stress these days. I feel like I'm essentially going to be in this relationship alone even though I'm with him. I honestly never ask for anything and that's exactly what I'm getting from him. This relationship just feels empty. I love him but I feel like I'm not IN love right now. This is probably all random but I just don't know what to do right now and need some advice.

  • Is it weird to not want a big wedding?

I'm recently engaged and will be getting married some time next year. I've looked at a few places and made a few guest lists but when it really comes down to it, I'd rather just get married by a judge with my hubby to be and our 2 witnesses and our parents. I don't even really care to have a party afterwards. I think getting to spend the rest of my life with my hubby to be is all that matters and I'd rather save all the money we would spend on a wedding and reception and put it towards a home. Is this weird? All my friends have had or are having big weddings so I'm left feeling like I should want that too.

  • Is it common to be super stressed in the beginning of an engagement?

Maybe the pressure of trying to plan a wedding or buy a house or just grow up in general? I feel like since I'm engaged I should be heading towards these goals me and my fiance have and I'm missing out on just living in the moment. I'm 26 but still still feel like a little kid sometimes and I don't know if it's just pressure I'm putting on myself to achieve all these things or if it's something else. Did anyone else feel like this or currently feel like this?

  • Brother in law at wedding?

I'm currently discussing wedding plans with my fiance and he says he doesn't want his brother to come because he thinks he will get drunk and make a scene or try to make the day about him. I personally say I'd rather see what happens and invite him instead of living the rest of our lives with him holding it against us and bringing it up at every chance possible. Should I just let it go and deal with the aftermath then or should we try to find a compromise?

  • A problem with my phone or with koodo?

I have a samsung galaxy with koodo and I used to be able to type as many characters as I needed and it would just send as a text, but now I can only type a little before it turns into a multimedia message. Is there a way I can change this on my phone or is it something koodo changed?

  • Would you really believe if you had evidence?

I like when I see this, and then realize there are literally thousands of people who don't believe the holocaust happened, and don't believe someone landed on the moon. I don't believe nor follow a religion and I don't think it's because of a lack of proof. I find it funny that atheists disagree with almost everything about religion, but then say they will believe if there is proof.

  • Why are there so many?

Why are there so many trolls? Especially in the R&S section. I don't see how someone can sit at home all day and just ask stupid questions. Do they not work? Do they all really still at home with mommy and daddy? Like I really can't understand why. Is it lack of friends? What? Why?

  • Do religious people find it hard to love others?

Do religious people find it hard to love others because they waste so much of their love on their god? Is that why you will shun your children for being gay or not believing in your god? Is that why you can't comprehend any man loving another man or any woman loving another woman?

  • The age old question about hair.?

I know that if you are bleaching your hair blonde and it turns out orange you can use a purple toner to get rid of the brass colour. I've done that a million times. My question is what if i'm lifting out black to go to a lighter brown, and it turns out almost like a dark red. The brown I want to put on is lighter and I don't think it will cover the reddish tones. Is there a different kind of toner for darker pigments or should i just bleach it lighter?

  • Why did you choose the specific religion you did?

If you were born in Israel, you'd probably be jewish. If you were born in Saudi Arabia, you'd probably be a muslim. If you were born in India, you'd probably be hindu, but because you were born in North America you are probably a christian. Your faith is not inspired by some divine, constant truth. It's simply geography.

  • How is an atheist answering with "God doesn't exist"....?

any more helpful than a christian quoting scripture? What is the point of answering a legitimate question if you aren't really saying anything? I realize there are trolls all over this section, and those deserve stupid answers, but if there is an actual question, why not either try to actually answer it, or move on? And why, when a question is solely directed at one side of the coin, does the other side feel the need to answer with nonsense?

  • Will this be world war 3?

President Barack Obama warned Monday that he would consider military force if Syria's Bashar Assad either tries to relocate his regime's arsenal of chemical and biological weapons or attempts to use them on his own people in a bid to crush an uprising that could topple him from power.

  • How many atheists does it take to change a light bulb?

Two. One to actually change the bulb, and the other to videotape the job so fundamentalists won’t claim that god did it.

  • Don't worry theists...?

Atheists don't even agree with other people who don't believe in god, but do not label themselves as atheists. Why is that?
